The first half is good, it is simple and easy to follow. The sound design is nice and the art is good. Right so that is where all my compliments end. the second half of this game is so piss poor at following the first half, the way you solve puzzles and levels is just annoying, not challenging just annoying, the level lay out is so small at times and if the game was just the first half this would be a fine game but …

this little game is super cute and creative!! rebelling against the government has never been this adorable before and it's also a lot of fun, because you gather groups of cute animals, including bunnies, and fight soldiers while causing chaos across the city in an attempt to overthrow an authoritarian government. The game also features several creative boss fights and beautiful relaxing music throughout the …

“If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution.” – Emma Goldman The mechanics revolve around movement, crowd-building, and environmental destruction. As your group grows, so does your power. The camera can be a bit clumsy and some levels repeat the same rhythm, but that does not take the fun and chaos out of the game. It's the cutest riot you will ever lead <3 Viva La Cutevolution!

This game was sitting in my library for over 5 years, I finally decided to check it out again recently and man, it's awesome. Perhaps it's the Pikmin fan in me, but controlling all these little animals and absolutely obliterating everything in my path is so much fun. There's a lot of creativity in the stages, the music is great, overall just a wonderful little game. There's are a few bugs/crashes, and the frame rate …

Video review: https://youtu.be/-RfIaqPYFeY Anarcute is Katamari Damacy meets Pikmin, in the style of Aggretsuko. Take over the world in a crowd-controlling beat-em-up with an adorable roster of raging animals. Evil mega-corps are committing war crimes and it’s up to you to save your friends, create anarchy, and save the world. Walk over items, big and small, to auto-pick up and use as ammunition to throw at the …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Furries are based. Also ACAB, always ACAB.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Since the developers are French, this should be a tutorial for French people on what they are best known for... protests — even after winning the Champions League.

Overall Rating - Painfully Bad ★☆☆☆☆ First Impressions I was looking through various games, and thought that I should play Anarcute (AC). It has an incredibly high review score on Steam, so I figured it was guaranteed to deliver on a silly version of anarchist action. However, something I noticed from the achievements…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anarcute has cute graphics, fun gameplay (at first) and good sounds/music. It gets repetitive and frustrating real quick. The controls are not responsive enough and 95% of the time don't work. The throw button works maybe 1 in 50 tries. Why don't devs fix their dang games? Not recommended

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the OST for the Paris levels. Also there are purple things and i like that. Also, came here because I remember DanTDM played this when I was like 8. So I got to do the whole pug rampage like he did in the video! Anarteam and Plug in Digital are amazing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable animals *and* civil disobedience? That hits me where I live.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best descriptor I can give this game is that Kid me would've gone wild for it. does it mean it's good? Not really, no. there's quite a bit of jank and poor design work here. did I still enjoy my limited time with game? I'd say yeah. If you can get this game on sale and got some stray cash on hand there are definitely far worst stuff you can spend it on.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is eight years old. I am super-duper late to the game. What can I say? But it does also go to show when you aim for stylistic instead of realistic, the graphics can hold up. They do the job, they look cute, they are... simplistic, it's true, and that's fine. When you've got anthropomorphic clams throwing tankers at helicopters, realism wasn't on the design spec to begin with. Good sound design never changes. The goal here is cute. They sound cute! Not *too* cute, they're…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute art direction, with a solid, respectable concept, but loses the appeal about 2/3rds of the way through, between the absurdly stringent level rankings and later stages containing as many of the most annoying, unforgiving design choices possible, making it impossible to maintain a riot size large enough to fairly compete, without inevitably limping to the finish line on the backs of half a dozen stragglers that somehow managed to survive the onslaught, and never truly getting to use most of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Who would of thought a studio based in France could make such compelling indie game about violent political protest.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny little riot game, smooth controls. Although can feel you have too many attack and movement options at times. Just wish the game didn't turn to making the game more difficult and timed movement based, could have been a lot more fun if they just stuck with simpler level design. 7/10

Day 371) Anarcute by Anarteam A game that has you create hoards of cute animals to rampage and riot and beat up all people who dare oppose you. It's a simple game with beat em up combat and anarchy to cause, while all doing so super adorably.

Back to Warframe Fridays, and ending with another game that looks amazing: People of Note. Hope to see you then!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little romp. Almost has Katamari vibes at times, but instead of rolling up everything, you're tearing everything down.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really love Anarcute! Even though I've played a little bit of it, I can already tell it's a very adorable and fun game! The fighting mechanics are entertaining and pretty simple. The levels have obstacle courses that can make things interesting. Plus the characters, i.e. Rioters, all look so adorable! Even the antagonist and enemies are cute too. And this game gives me nostalgic De Blob vibes. Both are basically "anarchy" games, but for different causes. Regardless, I love the designs,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, it's super fun and cute. However, playing it on PC without a controller makes the game really, really hard. The game recommends using a controller when you boot it up and they're right. Even still the game is enjoyable, and I've run into little to no performance issues.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not a very realistic riot simulator, but I guess if you wanted to give it to your kids as inspiration, its pretty good and you can show them how destruction of public property benefits everyone somehow :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →14: FIGHT THE POWER! TAKE DOWN FASCISTS! BE A CUTE ANIMAL! Fantastic music, fun, active puzzle gameplay and can be completed in an evening. Anarcute is a really good game, recommended to all hell!!!
positive · AI labelView post →Let's riot! ..but in a cute way It's a simple and funny idea, but it's well executed and always makes you laugh. I mean I can throw houses. Who doesn't want that? If you're not sure, get it on sale, where the game can get really cheap.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overview Anarcute is a colourful riot simulator made in in 2016. The game combines action and strategy as players control a growing mob of adorable rioters fighting against an oppressive regime. With a charming art style and funphysics-based gameplay, players can smash buildings, throw objects, and overwhelm enemies with sheer numbers. The game features levels across multiple cities, each with unique challenges and increasing difficulty. Rating Content: 7/10 (Unique premise with a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the story, the clips, the music, the humor, the ending and everything else. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anarcute was never a game that tried to change the world. Still, it was a cute concept, simple to understand, played well, and was easy fun. Grow your mob of protesters, keep them protected, and level your obstacles. With all the good games out there, it's hard to justify the price tag - But buying it on sale isn't a bad idea.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love it, a fantastic time. Don’t pass it up. One of my favorites.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While we're at it, I'd like it if such games that actually did associate it with those outside forces and make them into antagonists didn't do it as some kind of late game twist. I need more games like 'Tonight We Riot' and 'Anarcute' that just say the obvious upfront.
neutral · AI labelView post →Final boss was a nightmare but everything else was nice
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute and a fantastic idea (if inspired by Pikmin). The issue? The controls suck and it's plagued with the same issues as all physics-based games. You control the horde, even if you only have one character, which means movement is a suggestion not actual control. This has resulted in moments when my group has been split by a short barrier, causing both halves to run in opposite directions and get slaughtered. This applies to throwables too, as I regularly have projectiles thrown 70…
