neutral · AI labelView post →Rosemary's Baby doesn't really hold up as a horror film today because its central theme is imagine how awful it would be if you had a community of supportive friends and family to help you raise your child.

neutral · AI labelView post →Yesterday we saw #Clayface and i effin loved it. Baby Kyle was so excited to see one of his favorite Batman villains not only in live action, but in a horror movie. The possibilities are endless with the character and seeing his abilities utilized in some creative ways was a hoot! Recommend

neutral · AI labelView post →another thing the film does right: were you maybe thinking Jason Statham Went Too Far? no worries, the film spends every minute not on Beeman reinforcing that his enemies are complete whiny scumbags undeserving of your sympathy and also now he has to retaliate further. THAT'S FUCKING FILMMAKING BABY

neutral · AI labelView post →Reminds me of how in the Black Widow movie in a flashback to the 90's, one of the girls has a Twilight Sparkle Beanie Baby, presumably because the prop department thought "It's a fucking My Little Pony, they had those back then" Also that anachronistic Ultra Magnus figure in Stranger Things S1 lol

neutral · AI labelView post →Well, that was certainly a film. Bigfoot threw maybe 30 boulders, and he carried a character like a baby. Baby bigfoot showed up, but in the most tragic way possible. There were quite a few flannel shirts. The wise old man of the woods tried to help. There was also a mild government conspiracy.

I'm going to watch Rosemary's Baby tonight; read the book years ago but never saw the film. More closet/cupboard sorting/purging on the agenda.
