Kind of boring tbh. My 10yr old son and I played and finished the space mission and had no desire to do anything else. Just bounce around a lot as a ball and dress yourself up. Not much else to it. Fluid controls, but otherwise not all that inspiring. EDIT: As the developer responded wanting more input, I'm editing this review to include it. I think overall we were both just expecting more variety in the gameplay. I …

Man this game is weird. But, I recommend it. It's a lot of fun and random laughs to be had. This game feels more like a playground than anything, but there are objectives. You get a hub world where you transport to different themed worlds. Each world is unique and interesting. The controls are very fluid and easy to get around for platforming. The combat is probably the weakest part of the game for me. There's not …

I ignored Bang-On Balls at first because… well, that name! Just seemed like it was going to be a gimmicky game, or crude or something. My mistake. This game has some fo the most fun exploration of any platformer I’ve played. I found that I would just wander the expansive stages and be delighted by some Easter egg or encounter in a random corner of the map. These maps are loaded with variety. There are tons of …

What an absolutely joyful little game, and I mean this whole heartedly when I say it was several hours of pure enjoyment, perfect for an afternoon unwinding. Admittedly I got this as part of a bundle unsure if it was a kids game or a little nod to internet ephemera and I could not have been more wrong. After playing each level in its entirety and completing the game I can confidently say it's worth the full asking …

Amazing and super fun creative game ! I played it on coop with my 5 year old and its amazing.
Summarised from 34 of the 190 public posts collected about this game; every point cites the posts behind it ([n] opens the post) and the split is counted from the posts’ own ratings. Updated Oct 11, 2026. How summaries are made
80% of the 168 Steam reviewers we collected recommend Bang-On Balls: Chronicles. The complaint that keeps coming up: combat is weak and repetitive. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →0 risk taking. Goal is to collect cosmetics. 1 currency. Drops from enemies. Used for cosmetics. Actually the entire game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →no sex option but still a good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This the game you get when your developer has a serious, and untreated, head injury.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All you need to do is enjoy this game and destroy everything you see. If you feel stressful or bored, just sit down and play it, and this game will help you relieve all the strain. For me, the most attractive part is its varied costume and decoration with regional cultural characteristics, and it's easy to collect them. btw, More pleasure can be gained with a friend available (Not For Me).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is better than any LEGO game I have played. Well at least for me. My 5yo kid love it too, and he doesn't like the LEGO games because of how complex they are for his age.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One button game. So boring The world looks good but the gameplay is bad. Shame
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#Platinum 887 - Bang-On Balls: Chronicles The game was added to the PS+ Catalog and is some sort of a short sandbox adventure. Interesting part is that no trophy is for playing the game. All trophies are related to farting somewhere. #BangOnBalls #PS4 #PS5 #Trophyhunter
neutral · AI labelView post →at first seemed like a good game for little kids to play. Easy enough for kids to fight through the levels and different fun places like pirates, vikings, japan etc. Unfortunately, developers decided to push trans ideology garbage in what is obviously a kids game. pretty sick people.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gets stale fast Probably prolongued fun for kids I had fun for a few hours, but it's very repetitve one button game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I replayed Bang-On Balls: Chronicles because the overwhelmingly positive reviews made me feel like I had to be missing something. I still do not get it. The game has personality, but the actual gameplay is shockingly thin. Movement feels sloppy, combat feels weightless, and the whole experience often seems more interested in being random and goofy than in being genuinely fun to play. I was frequently unclear on what I was supposed to be doing, and that confusion never turned into discovery or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wtf is ts game even about?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent childrens game akin to something like goat simulator. Lacks substance to be seriously enjoyed by adults however.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A somewhat decent collectathon ruined by imprecise movement, awful combat, and excessively tanky enemies. No thank you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[Bang-On Balls: Chronicles](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1227650/BangOn_Balls_Chronicles/) It sounds like either a throwaway mobile gacha game or an epic [CBT](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cock_and_ball_torture?wprov=sfla1) adventure porno, but it's actually a pretty good 3D platformer.
positive · AI labelView post →Fantastic hidden gem - get it on sale - short game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, very well imagined and creative. It is a blast playing with my kid.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once I finished Donkey Kong Bananza on Switch 2, I thought, “I sure hope someone makes a game like this again because it’s so unique and fun”. Turns out they already did in 2023!

neutral · AI labelView post →You can just tell how much love devs have put on this game. Its actually super fun game. super easy even yo mama can play. There is 5 mini map packed with lot of things to explore and destroy. every corner has something. It looks super nice too. gameplay is basically banging on balls... get it. 4/5
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game have many issues. First: There is no option in the game menu that allow a player to invite an other player. A player can join an other player's game by finding a usb cable located at random locations in levels. There is no usb cable in the HUB. There is a way to invite someone if you know the shortcut key that opens the friends menu on steam, but I don't know if this trick need a in game setup for the invite to work. The game concepter have forgotten to add an input that allow to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is sandbox first and everything else second. Level design and combat feel mediocre and simplistic. A good game for someone young, but a platformer this is not
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I play this with my 3yr old and he loves it so much. It's his favorite game. Genuinely amazing, so much fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was fun enough, don't expect to be blown away though. It's a switch your brain off and just have some chaotic fun kind of game. It's a recommend, but barely, wait for a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I keep seeing an advert on twitter for a game called Bang-on Balls and I'm just like "hell yeah I wanna bang on some balls if you know what I mean wink wink"
neutral · AI labelView post →I love Sweden Countryballs and IKEA
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is a game by the Polish studio Exit Plan Games, based on the popular Countryballs meme, with its world and characters built around that concept. It’s a sandbox game with platforming elements. The game world is divided into a main hub, which resembles a film set, and individual levels that act as sandbox-style maps representing different historical periods and the cultural events associated with them. You can encounter pirates, samurai, and many other distinctive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the whole game and collected everything in co-op Game is fun, a bit lacking in the incentives/progression side but it's a sandbox collectathon. HOWEVER - Heads up for co-op, The Wild West stage had some lag issues and also has an issue where player 2 will just randomly be naked and lose progress etc for no apparent reason on re-loading the game/joining.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gets boring extremely fast.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe it's just me but i didn't enjoy any of my time with this game. The story i have no clue or opinion on personally. The platforming, combat, and level design feels like an after thought. It's lack any impact or joy to it,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game for couch co-op. The game is unplayable on splitscreen on a big 16:9 TV. Camera is too close and angle is too narrow. This wonderful world is totally not visible. The gameplay would be great if we would see anything. Changing screen to ultrawide somewhat helped, but the issue isn't solved. This needs to be fixed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My kids love the game! Family friendly couch games are so hard to come by these days
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely fun game with lots of references and jokes. Mini games inside of mini games, and whole 5 games within one. All achievements are doable! 100% a 10/10 game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Platinum #160 Bang-On Balls: Chronicles Difficulty: 2/10 Hours: 5 A rare platinum that is earned before completing the game. Simple trophy list, fart in specific areas/situations. 🤣 Can be done in less time, but I was enjoying the game. #PlatinumTrophy #BangOnBalls

neutral · AI labelView post →would bang my balls again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a lot of fun playing this game. Each of the 5 big, open zones has its own theme and is packed with clever design and funny takes. The objectives, both large and small, were always clear. Great music and sound effects.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3/10 This game works but it is no fun. Not even with friends
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels like one of those free games that comes preinstalled on a console. It never really deepens beyond 'roll here, break that' but its a decent little family friendly game or coop game plus you can play as the soviet flag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an absolutely joyful little game, and I mean this whole heartedly when I say it was several hours of pure enjoyment, perfect for an afternoon unwinding. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The reviews rating is wrong
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is an unapologetically chaotic and surprisingly polished 3D platformer that combines silly physics-based action with expansive sandbox-style levels. Developed by Exit Plan Games, this title takes a seemingly absurd premise—playing as a heavily customizable, bouncy ball of national pride—and turns it into one of the most charming, energetic, and unexpectedly deep platformers to come out of the indie scene in recent years. Blending humor, exploration, and combat, Bang-On…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty charming little game! it can be a bit overwhelming with how much is happening, and it's very easy to get separated when playing co-op, which makes it very easy to miss little scripted moments. that kinda sucks. but it's plenty of fun if you like silly little collect-a-thon games with simple puzzles
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Silly fun and fairly large but combat could be a tad bit more difficult and extra items should just be an on/off option in the menu, not codes because codes are just tedious. Also farting for all achievements? All of them? Sigh....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun exploration, fun combat, and balls. What more could you ask for
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like banging my ball's toghether.. Oh wait i only have one...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tis shi peak it changed my balls would play again. please make a sequel il pay top dolla2
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →as a countryballs fan, i gotta say ts is fricking addictive. graphics: 10/10 sfx: 10/10 gameplay: 10/10 the only problem is the lack of explanation on some things but i dont mind it really. highly recommended, def buy when it's on promo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the worst games i ever played controls are terrible fighting is so unfun couldnt even finish the first level because of how bad controls are couldnt aim properly did i mention how bad the controls are?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game barely works in coop
