Quorra is the least believable thing in a not very believable film, but I now wonder if she might actually be what so many AI bros are chasing.

neutral · AI labelView post →I LOVED that movie! It's a perfect ridiculous romp that shows how weird Born Sexy Yesterday tropes are while still having a heart
positive · AI labelView post →"Born Sexy Yesterday" YES THAT'S THE TERM I WAS LOOKING FOR YESTERDAY I've seen it work for some other things but for this movie it was just too big of a gap to close for me to get into the romance 😭
negative · AI labelView post →Great film, happy to see it made available to such a wide audience. This and The Professional (also by Luc Besson) both had Born Sexy Yesterday vibes, but Fifth Element gets more of a pass because Leeloo is some ageless mythical being, while Mathilda was an actual child. Both are still high quality movies and personal favorites, but that might turn some people off from them.
neutral · AI labelView post →I really hope it doesn’t end up being very predictable, I think that might end up souring the show for me a little and wishing it was just a movie. Side Note: I really hope this show doesn’t end up leaning hard into the “Born Sexy Yesterday” trope, it would be incredibly creepy in this instance.

A more accessible framework might be the modern “Born Sexy Yesterday” trope (I suggest googling it). So why do I like a movie that’s ostensibly about having sex with a physically mature infant?
neutral · AI labelView post →I saw Poor Things last week. There were elements that I enjoyed but I wouldn't give it a general recommendation due to presence of the Born Sexy Yesterday trope. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0thpEyEwi80 #Film #PoorThings #BornSexyYesterday
neutral · AI labelView post →Saw a post celebrating a movie I used to love Now though, as someone who writes scripts, I've become aware of a number of tropes that really don't sit well with me. This movie includes one such trope (Born Sexy Yesterday), and with that alone I'm betting some writers out there can ID the movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →great movie! however I am apparently not immune to the Born Sexy Yesterday trope when applied to seven feet of scars and self-loathing.
positive · AI labelView post →HOT FROSTY: Silly fun Christmas movie with a fun twist on the "Born Sexy Yesterday" trope and a healthy dose of ACAB baked in as well.
