Let me start off by saying that while I don’t dislike the game, I can’t recommend it, either. It runs well, the art style is lovely, and the core gameplay loop is fun. I like the “busywork” feel, and I appreciate that there isn't a timer looming over everything. That being said, the game is very repetitive. Not just the gameplay itself, but nearly everything surrounding it. The dialogue from the captain and …

A wholesome game about organization and space management... with cute cats. It took me about 18 hours to finish the story and get all the achievements, and there's an infinite post-game if you so desire, so it's worth the money. I love how you can see the pile of packages slowly shrink and reveal more of the hallway. The progress in chipping away at the pile is perfectly paced. The graphics and music are simple but …

TL;DR I recommend this cute, relaxing game IF you have ZERO issues with motion sickness or dizziness/nausea. I love this game so much, and it is so cute. I instantly bought it as soon as it released since I had played the demo so much. There is something that scratches the brain when it comes to sorting, organising, and being a cute little cat. Excited to play more of it! My only feedback or request, would be to allow a cat customisation option to design and choose which cat you play as. :3

I wish I could vote neutral. Its very cute and relaxed, the setting and graphics are great. I kinda enjoy it? I enjoy sorting and inventory management, I just wish there was more to the game. But in the first 20 minutes you've seen everything this game has to offer. There is no progression, every new room opened work exactly the same. You sort based on what the package needs and if its improperly stored it becomes damaged... Which means nothing. You lose 2 XP points for a damaged package,…

So, the game has great potential and the quality of it is great. But It feels like the demo, not the actual game. I read a few reviews that gave you suggestions, so I'm sure you're aware of it, but here are mine: - No progression. A cozy game doesn't have to be a mindless task and this is exactly how it feels like rn. You need to add some consequences and actual reasons for me to continue - Mundane. This is like an add on to the first point, but there is no change happenning at the shop.…

Don't get me wrong, this game is very satisfying and chill in some aspects. However, this game feels more like early access than full release. This game is a perfect game to have upgrades, why doesn't it? Why is there no money system? Why can't we buy more storage shelves and chose which types we want? It would be nice if you could order any type of shelf and place it wherever you want. Being able to upgrade shipping boat as well would be extremely useful. Why does x-ray machine need to tell…

The beginning of the game is incredibly satisfying, but the progression feels backwards. Every unlock adds new constraints, more destinations, more package types to manage but never gives you new tools, upgrades, or automation to handle the extra complexity. Instead of making you feel more capable or more in control as you progress, the game simply gives you more work. As a result, the further I get, the less fun I'm having.

I will give you the positive review for the cozy game. HOWEVER, it is conditional. The game is fun and initially organizing and compartmentalizing things is great. This gradually becomes an issue however as someone mentioned in another review people just don't pick ♥♥♥♥ up. There ends up not being enough space to organize things the way I want. Once you get the restrictions (I.e. cold room, etc) there aren't enough shelves for destinations nor enough places for large boxes. Toward the end of…

The game is very fun with friends, but I would love to see more identity/personality amongst the different cats, and the vague "My letter has a red ribbon on it." with no name what-so-ever is going to result in somekitten getting stabbed. It'd be super neat if customers could also come in to both drop off packages but also pick up one or more packages. My biggest want is to be able to place boxes across MULTIPLE different boxes. The game starts fun, and it starts cozy but doesn't stay so for long. Everything sorta gets worse and wears on you pretty quickly. Very grindy, very repetitive. What you do at the start is what you will always do, but just more-complicated-without-reward. You get overwhelmed with packages, and there's always too little space to store them properly. The game expects you to be able to find packages by name, random lastname letter, or an assortment of other criteria. Problem is that you can't…

I like the game, but for the price and what you do, it's a pass. I wish I didn't buy it. While it's cute and the the gameplay is sort of fun, it really lacks content. The "story" is guessable after the tutorial. There is no way to modify your storage rooms and racks. There's no way to expand storage. At times you can have boxes everywhere and then suddenly, you have nothing. It's over and you're like...that's it? You can keep playing but it's just monotonous and any challenge is gone.…

Everyday since this game has released I've woken up, went to work at my irl post office, use my break to play in my virtual cat post office, finish working at my irl post office, then come home to my virtual cat post office until bed time. If you like the demo, just keep playing the demo. Gets repetitive very easily, the unlocks that you do get don't actually change the experience at all. My biggest annoyance is that you are never able to ship out everything that needs to go out. So you are sick with piles of Outbound packages that just sit there Cozy, maybe. Tedious, definitely.

Let me start with this, it is a very cute concept HOWEVER, it is not worth the current $14.99 USD. The reason for this is because of how lacking most of the game feels and how there isn't really any true progression. I feel there are way too many special packages (and packages in general) coming in and not enough storage space to store them or send them out. The shipping boat size never changes which feels crappy because there are so many places to ship to and so many packages that come in that…

Had a blast playing this cozy little game with my wife and brother-in-law! Completed the game in a little less than 8 hours. Would love to see more content being added to this game, as it becomes a bit pointless to keep playing the game since there will be no more goals to strive towards. For example, it would be awesome to open a new post office on one of the other locations, or joining the captain on the boat to see more of the cat world! Solid 9/10.

A fun premise for a good co-op game that unfortunetly fails to hit any marks of progression or break out of its own tedium. The four "special" rooms are nothing unique from one another and barely make sense as a premise. Nobody stores mail in especially hot or bright rooms, the dark and cold rooms make sense at least but all four boil down to 'store here' and nothing else. The fragile and heavy 'special' packages ARE a fun mechanic for a puzzle every time you go to store or ship packages.…

Not a bad game. However, some aspects are odd, frustrating or buggy, and need tweaking: - There's way more parcels coming in than going out. Feels like I'm not accomplishing anything. -Persistent request bugs, one NPC asked for a package from BLANK location. Another asked for a cold package with a name and last name that I don't have. I know I don't have them because I went through all my cold parcels, did not see it, and at the end of the day there was no penalty for wrongly stored cold…

Wanted and tried desperately to love this game, however there are just too many locations and not enough shelves. It becomes very frustrating to play, when the cold room etc just does not have enough space to put boxes away for all the various locations. It would be better if there were upgrade options available so we could get more space or if there was actual positives or negatives to doing anything right or wrong. Some simple QOL upgrades could make this game great.

I love this game so much. It can get a little repetitive but not in a bad way (unless you dislike repetitive stuff of course). It's a super cozy game with no time limit, very cute, simple to play, and easy to lose yourself for hours in it. It's very relaxing as well and I've found it's relieved a good amount of stress. Every upgrade is just the same as before with a fresh coat of paint. There are a few things I'd like to address. While I love the game and the initial feel, I cannot recommend this game as it is right now. The core concept and gameplay are inherently fun. The setting, music, and atmosphere are all wonderful. However, the game is heavily skewed toward receiving packages. Residents never seem to come enough to pick up their packages (amazon locker when?), and you get a deluge of mail you cannot fit on the boat. It's a case of "It's not you, it's me." I spent several years in the US NAVY as a postal clerk and it was hands down the best job I ever had. Giving my fellow sailors a little parcel from home was the best feeling. I thought for sure this cozy little game would capture this feeling and I'd just be happily sorting boxes in the back room. I did read what other people were complaining about, so here's my thoughts on some high level stuff: - You don't need a boat upgrade system, after a while you will have the whole boat to put stuff on, and by that point every time the captain shows up, he'll effectively clear out the stock of all of your packages for whatever…

I clock out of my 10 hour shift as a postal worker, and hurry home to be a cat running around a run down post office. I got stupid excited about the scanner that tells you the type of parcel. Legit squealed with delight as I exclaimed the Hazmat question I must repeat 500+ times a day one last time. My only gripe is the way incoming parcels are addressed. Address on the bottom, postage all over the place, fragile sticker placed in such a way it's easily missed... too realistic.

As many other people have said, i wish there was a neutral option. It's a cute game and fun to play while listening to a podcast, but gets very repetitive, although that is what this game's kind of supposed to be. The NPC's are boring and repetitive. It'd be nice to get some new dialogue, since you get used to what kind of parcels they want based off of what they say, and usually are already on the way to the package before the sentence is done. Right now, the game is effectively the demo gameplay loop, albeit longer and with a small handful of additional mechanics. I was really hoping for some 'oh, that's cool' moments in the full game - a way to upgrade the boat, employ additional boats to amplify or add different destinations, reorganise shelves so they make more sense for the packages, deal with customers that want to send and collect, some bit of story etc, but as others have said this feels barebones and gets pretty tedious…

I played the demo during NextFest and it was fun, left me wanting more and I thought a bit of a story with the captain (but he just repeats "The sea is calm today" on every shipment :/ ) would come later in the game but apparently what you do in the Demo is basically the whole gameplay loop already. Feels too bare bone, just collect parcels, hand parcels over, get stuff of the ship and put it back on and send it off. There is a cold room which is a bit different at least but it just doesn't…

I had a wonderful time with this game. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and charming. You play as cats who start working at the local post office after the previous postal worker mysteriously disappears, and that simple premise creates a delightful world to explore. The story is not the main focus, but it adds just enough mystery and personality to make the adventure more engaging. The visual style is absolutely adorable, and every character is full of charm. The soundtrack and sound design…

truly i am not one to write "serious" reviews so i hope this comes off as more of constructive criticism rather than tearing down this game. at face value, there isnt anything particularly wrong with this game. it is as it was advertised: you are a cat working at a post office. ill start by saying i love the art style and, if there are updates in the future (as this game was Just released), i can see myself picking it up and playing more! i did love all the cat names, made me chuckle with how…

While I do like the gameplay loop, the fact that most customers do not give you a name is starting to feel ridiculous. Have you ever been to a post office where that isn't a requirement??? I understand that it was for the game to feel more difficult, but it just makes the game frustrating. At the very least, it should be an optional setting to REQUIRE the customer to give their first name.

Played Cat Mail Co. recently, and got absolutely absorbed in that, loved the game! Then I got to work in making some fun lil fanart of it, featuring Vesper, and it hit me it could make for a pretty stupid pun. And so, here we are! #fanart #furry #furryart #catmailco

Received this game as a birthday gift, really love it so far <3 There's no timers so there is no need to rush and you can take your time preparing the packages and sorting them in storage. I personally like the pacing, they introduce new mechanics in bits and pieces so you have enough time to get used to one before another one becomes accessible. So far everything feels very intuitive. If I had to choose a qualm it'd be the fact that some packages get lost inside the rubble and are harder to…

If you enjoy sorting items into an efficient sorting system and 3d Tetris this is the game for you. It really scratches the itch for a pleasing sorting game and has cosy graphics with some chill music. I finished the game 100% and I feel the urge to play the game again from the beginning straight away. However you also have the option to keep playing as an infinite pile appears that will keep giving you parcels once you have completed the story. I have only played this in single…

If you cannot handle organizing, keeping a system, remembering what you have, or having things build up on you, turn away now, find another game. This game is an interesting case. I would call it good. It's cozy, it has a nice art style, it ran well for me, though I can't say for those on lower-end computers. Before you buy this though, know there are going to be some moments when you're playing where you have to just ask... why? For example, if you've ever had to stack boxes or packages in…

A wonderfully paced game because YOU set it yourself. This was both super fun solo AND with the homies too! You can make the post office as chaotic/disheveled or as organized/tidy as you like, so the stakes are not nearly as high as something like Overcooked. however, soulmate packages can rot in hell, why were there so many???

I really enjoyed sorting through the mails and making my own system around the mail room. At first, it feels overwhelming and boxes seems to be piling high, especially when there's a limit to how many we can send out. Eventually, the game allows you to clear up those stacked boxes in no time. The captain that picks up the package goes to randomized location and there has been many posts talking about how he doesn't go to one particular location. I myself don't have that problem, but I do…
