We really liked this game - till it causes us unbearable physical pain after a hour or so. PHYSICAL PAIN! Me and my Gf really like to play co-op games together. When I saw this title I was sure we will have a lot of fun with it. Really nice, adorable graphic, interesting, funny plot, lightly cynical humor, lot of positive reviews... I thought there is everything to have long hours of fun together. I was wrong. :( In …

Chariot is an awesome two-player local co-op experience that really promotes teamwork and mutual problem solving. Its totally fun and very polished, too. Two caveats for this positive review: You need to play with two players, and you both must have a controller. I say this, because that is how I played it and cannot comment on the keyboard and/or single player experience. My guess is that it would be significantly …

Can't remember the last time I had só much of a love-hate relationship with a game, and I was 2x close to quitting, but took 2 breaks instead ... There's something magical about this game that made me want to reach the end, but the developers feat. designers really fail to encourage the player to make progress/reward progress with enough incentives. The game is centered around grinding loot, and while I didn't …

This game is fun in co-op. The controls are weirdly intuitive and require just the right amount of concentration. Some parts of the game requiring some mild head-bashing!! Played through world 1 with a friend trying to collect almost everything which took about 90 minutes or so, so there is quite a lot of game there.

A highly underrated 2d physics based puzzle platformer with somewhat unique mechanics. This game is very fun and can easily be played solo, BUT if you want to get maximum bang for your buck you NEED to play it in co-op (thankfully, it works perfectly with Remote Play Together). If you have a co-op partner you owe yourself pleasure to experience this hidden gem. Pros: - Good soundtrack; - Great gadgets selection; - …

A player asked what if another team also did that. I rolled a luck check. Nat 20 Turns out it was ALL druids and became an instant cartoon

Interesting that some courses try to balance ground and floaty vehicles but that shouldn't be the answer. Thoughts in short. Game is fun though and recommend it!

It's the meat extender of PAL shovelware. I had to throw some away because they *cannot* be resold. Anyway, it's not very good, but you can play as Medusa.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chariot is one of the very best physics-based platformers I've ever played, and not nearly known well enough considering that. The basic gameplay allows for a variety of incredible movement options, which naturally open up to you as you get more used to its physics and controls. Co-op and the various gadgets available in the game extend these options further. The difficulty of the game is also spot on. It gently introduces you to its mechanics, and then ramps up the difficulty continuously.…

neutral · AI labelView post →The game is simply not fun. Most of the game is spent dragging the coffin across flat ground or uphill. All the physics puzzles feel far more difficult than necessary. Many of the challenges are brutally difficult.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a joy to play. It sat in my library untouched and unloved for far too long, until the fateful span of months when I no longer had access to the internet so I had to play the games I already had downloaded and nothing more - and I'm so glad this one was on the list. It's fun, quirky and beautifully designed, amazing to play as both multi and single player, especially while hungover, ill or annoyed at an internet provider which refuses to provide. Grab it in the sale! (It doesn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chariot somehow manages to be a total joy to play--even when your partner is dangling you off a cliff for a chance to get just one more scrap of gold. It's a quintessential co-op game that you can have a great time with solo (especially with the Peg--super useful!). As someone who usually can't wrangle an extra player for a few hours, this is fantastic news. Highly recommended! This is probably the single most fun game I've played in awhile and it is definitely worth full price and it deserves so much more attention that it will probably ever get. I really don't understand some of the negative reviews on this game because I personally have experienced none of the qualms they have with the game. It's not too challenging but it offers a bit of thinking in some areas, as this style of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chariot is a very fun, yet very difficult platforming game where you must constantly babysit a chariot carrying the remains of your king and find the appropriate burial place for your king. Each world leads to a possible place to bury him, but obviously, not until the last world does he find the correct place. During your travels you, and possibly a friend, must use a rope to pull and hold onto the chariot. You need to work to get through all of the obstacles with your chariot always with…

The 1st level gives excellent 1st impressions, yet flaws become apparent as early as in the 2nd one, then they keep accumulating. - Worst is how far back checkpoints set you whenever, separated from your chariot, or stuck at the bottom of a pit, you must force yourself to respawn , losing your hard earned loot. And these instances are not rare, on the contrary, they occur routinely. - Some checkpoints lay precisely at the bottom of your long falls. They deprive you,…

Great fun to try and unlock everything as getting everything requires a level of dedication and skill. This game is also good to watch in a relaxed party setting as back-seat driving is a ton of fun! The levels get very large and if you go for max points they may take up to 40+ minutes to complete. To 100% this game I can see it taking easily 15+ hours for an experienced pair of players, and 30+ for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super boring.. I played this with a friend (local co-op). After 30-40min we both were bored with it. I have no clue how this game has so many positive reviews? You pull a cart, and sometimes have to solve a puzzle? I mean there is nothing to it really. It you are looking for a fun platformer this is not for you.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very entertaining couch co-op game. It's fun alone and even better with a friend. You push and pull a wheeled chariot around levels. It's pretty simple and it keeps introducing fun mechanics into the game. It's a really solid title with great music, options and graphics. This is a no brainer if you like SNES style two player puzzle platform action games.
