Its very expensive, and its not worth it at all, when the tutorial is so bad, it dont explain what to do. So if you are stock at one point, to bad you cant progress in the game. The few first steps shows a video, but later on it stops for some reason. So im stuck in the tutorial, and I cant progress, not the best way to get players to stay. 9 hours in and I didn't even notice. Didn't expect a football tycoon to hook me like this. You're organizing matches, managing a stadium, building something from scratch, and it actually works. The mechanics are well thought out, there's a flow to it that I haven't found in similar games. If you've ever dreamed of running your football match and feel the football fiesta - just get in, and give it a try.

The idea of managing the whole city around a football match instead of the team itself is really fresh and honestly pretty addicting. For me this game is severly dissapointing. Here is why: 1. It has a very boring mandatory turtorial that takes more than an hour to do. Information during the turtorial is very vague and it is hard to tell what it wants me to do sometimes. Considering I am hearing more players getting whashed out of the game before completing the turtorial is a really big issue. 2. The game is buggy and messy, unfinnished or hardly thought out contents, few playability options and not a lot of content which I…

I agree with some of the negative reviews out there - the game definitely has a few bugs that need ironing out. For instance, I had to completely restart campaign level 4 because the game failed to properly track the three district values when I build the corresponding buildings (value didn't increase or decrease). That being said, I really see the huge potential here. The core management loop is engaging, and what impresses me most is the development team. They are incredibly responsive and…

Looked forward to this game for ages. However, it feels unfinished. There doesn’t seem like there’s a lot to do, and the tutorial, which is mandatory, is missing parts and doesn’t explain the game very well at all. I’ll wait a few months before playing it again in the hope that it gets sorted.

great game. 1. I like how you can control everything in this game. The interface is robust as if you were playing eu4 which forces you to learn the controls but gives you a lot of freedom. 2. Tutorial is too long so its better to watch a video and skip the tutorial 3. Real clubs, cities and stadiums 4. Nice graphics, it runs well on my mid laptop

Extremely disappointing. I was hoping Copa City would be more of an owner/management sim, but instead I’ve spent hours doing crowd-control tasks. I still haven’t even managed to get through the tutorial because I’ve been stuck repeating the charity match section for far too long. After watching videos, it seems that once the tutorial is over, the main gameplay is just moving through a few different cities and doing more crowd control. After two years of looking forward to this game, that is…

Assumed this would be more of a "choose one of the licensed teams and manage their stadium" thing, rather than "here's three real stadiums that bear no relation whatsoever to any of the licensed teams, put down some hot dog stands in a few parks near them".

I have played the game for 18 hours and am stuck on the tutorial level, Charity event. I have completed it once, but have not completed any goals, as the first is ~25k tickets for level 1, and you need level 2 at 40k to advance. Some of the tasks give you no indication of what to do. Like "Picnic at x place". I'm very disappointed with my purchase, and unfortunately, nothing can be done at this point.

This game is difficult in a way that makes you really think and strategies how things needed to be done. Tutorial is rough but no game is perfect everywhere, especially for a small team not at a Triple A standard. Most important is to allow the developers too make adjustments. Not every game is perfect if they were no fun. The most honest thing here is that, YES the game does lack some proper tutorial but its not difficult at all so people who complain about it most likely interested in…

Yeah this is a giant thumbs down from me. Here’s why in a nutshell: -Tutorial is absolute garbage. The characters are too busy talking to each other rather than teaching you how to play and trust me you NEED a good tutorial for this game. -Graphics are sub-par, and don't even have NPC’s reacting to the stalls in each section. -Voice acting is dreadfully cringe levels of awful. -Gameplay is nonsensical, confusing and doesn’t work as it’s intended. Hell my “Fun” stalls were actually giving me…

For me this game behaves like a badly written crypto miner. As soon as I hit the black message in the beginnign the GPU runs at 100% and that never changes. I tried at low graphic settings, same behaviour. With DLSS is the same. I really wanted to try the game but I feel too bad for my card. As a positive thing I enjoyed how quickly the game executes ALT F4 Update: Found the issue, the Game has no FPS limit and tries to render everything with over 9000 FPS. You can (and should) set the limit…

This game is super easy to get into and so much fun. It plays really smoothly, and I ended up playing for a while without even realizing how much time went by. The customization is really fun too, and the tutorial does a great job of explaining everything without making it feel complicated. It’s also a great game for soccer fans who want to see more of the business side of the sport instead of just playing matches.

After spending more time with Copa City, I can clearly see that the developers have fixed most of the interface issues and improved the overall stability of campaign missions. What impressed me the most: -is the whole system of dynamically managing fan zones and city streets. **Not Recommended — Plenty of Potential, but Currently Boring** COPA CITY has a genuinely interesting concept and plenty of potential, but unfortunately the actual gameplay is far too slow and repetitive. The tutorial drags on and does very little to make the game feel exciting. Even after getting through it, the gameplay continues to move at a painfully slow pace, with many tasks feeling like the same routine repeated over and over again. The dialogue does not help either. I got attracted to the game due to hearing about a significant price reduction. I saw 32 euros as slightly too much, but 22 seemed fine. The game itself is very pleasurable, i enjoy the calmness you feel while playing it. It's a really great way to spend your free time! It also makes you realize how much stuff is happening behind the scenes of huge football events like the FIFA matches going on right now. You are in charge of the whole event, from logistics to everything happening around the stadium. It's fun, keeps you busy all the time and always makes you think a few steps ahead. Very buggy game. It's a nice idea and the range of buildings is pretty good, but once you reach a certain point there is basically no reason other than appearance to not place the 'best' premium building over and over until you reach the points needed. Instructions are unclear at various points and there are bugs that can prevent you progressing the campaign. Game feels very rushed/unfinished and yet they are already trying to add a paid for DLC onto the game.

COPA CITY is a very competent addition in tycoon/city manager genre. I have a good time playing it. I think it has lot o potential to be build upon, and despite having some issues, I think the dev team is trying to see the community and fix those things on regular basis. I like the art style. The biggest plus is the feeling that the city has a life of its own. Fans move between districts, enjoy the attractions and provide a great backdrop for the gameplay. It can sometimes be difficult to find specific information quickly in the menu. It's a good thing there's a tutorial, because it's all quite complex.

One of the best football management games focused on organizing match days, fan zones, supporters and stadium operations. I really like the visual presentation. At first glance the game looks fairly simple, but once you start playing you realize it has a lot of depth and can be surprisingly challenging. I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys football management games. I didn’t expect it to be this engaging, but it pleasantly surprised me. I’m also curious to see how the gameplay…

My campaign is bugged on the 2nd tutorial mission where you need to destroy any item that you've placed. Well, the game will not destroy anything at all. no matter how many times i reload the game and click the demolish button, it does nothing. and i literally can not progress because of it. Capitalism tag is befitting for this game. Devs rushed it out knowing it was not ready, but they needed that money.

Even tho I am not a football fan I had great time playing. I would definitely recommend it for fans of strategic and management games. It has a unique vibe and gives a realistic feeling of stress and chaos before a huge event. I am greatful for a tutorial, as some mechanics may be a bit confusing at first. The game has some minor problems like typos, but nothing that takes out of the enjoyment of a gameplay. Can't wait for future updates and other games from this studio!

I really like Copa City, was excited to try it since a long time, saw it on Youtube quite a time ago. The game is basically same as I expected it to be. I really like the graphics, I think the game looks realistical, especially the design of stadiums. What I like the most is the amount of details and different cool thinks you can build, from fan zones, to organising the stadium design or recruiting stewards. I really like the fact that the tutorial is not mandatory as I heard that its quite…

Copa City takes a rather unconventional approach to management games. Instead of managing a team or just the stadium itself, the focus is on preparing the entire event and the environment surrounding the match. The concept itself is intriguing and definitely makes the game stand out from the competition. For me, the biggest asset is the atmosphere. The stadiums and cities look great, and watching the different elements of the event come together is highly satisfying. At the same time, it's not…

Have been looking forward to the game. Has a solid idea but feels early access. Trying to gain Match Readiness (MR) but missions require objects to be placed at a higher MR than what i'm currently at. Keep failing the missions. Maybe after a while the devs will fix this and make the game more enjoyable. Not managed to complete a game yet because of frustration in trying to progress.
