FINALLY! A game for us STRAIGHT, ALPHA MALES. This game is great because it doesn't have any of that WOKE PROPAGANDA nor is there any FLAGRANT HOMOEROTICISM, unlike the similar games in this genre! Because of this, I cannot recommend this game more! Actual Review Cons: -The voice acting is alright, but could use a couple more takes for clarity. There were moments I didn't understand what was being said. -The movement is great when it comes to horizontal movement. Vertical movement could use…

at last - ultrakill for straight men jokes aside, this game is a banger. the combat flows really REALLY nicely, and you find yourself cycling through all of your weapons - which each have their own utility and best use cases - all while performing some really fun and satisfying movement tech, which you're incentivized to do because the faster you go, the more damage you deal. all the while, your ears are being blessed with the most banger OST of 2026. the aesthetic is just the cherry on top,…

Edited now upon finishing the game (I forgot to update this earlier): Since playing the demo last year, Don't Stop Girlypop has been on my radar. Unfortunately, as you can probably tell from the rating, I didn't walk away feeling good about it. Let's start with what is great: the music, it's incredible. Every track is a banger, and I love that the lyrics kick in whenever combat starts. The combat is also great, to an extent. Every weapon feels unique, and fills a different role. I never…

This game could have been so so good, if only it didn't stop you CONSTANTLY! Kill the last enemy? Stop to watch this animation. Assasinat a stunned enemy? Stop dead in place. Enemy dialogue that could play while you do things in game? Nope! sit there and watch subtitles cover the whole screen Here's a tutorial dialouge that tells you to never stop moving, THAT LITERALLY STOPS YOU FROM MOVING! I would have been less disapointed if this game just sucked completely. Instead there's a great game…

this game is tuff as hell. i am so overstimulated that the world around me slows to a crawl. i know where i am slaying 💅 only because i know where i am not. i feel ethereally effeminate as i slay my enemies and my own framerate with shotgun-orbital-railgun nuking combos. when you're happy, you enjoy the music—but when you're girlypop, you understand the lyrics.

I saw this on the bundles for Ultrakill and thought I'd give it a chance. I've P-ranked Ultrakill (except P-2 on Brutal), and saw this game also advertising itself as a fast-paced boomer shooter, so I believed I'd enjoy it. However, I've come across a few problems that I feel kill the experience. To start, the movement doesn't feel good to use, which is really bad for a movement-based shooter. Grappling hooks felt awkward to hook to sometimes, and they felt like they weren't worth using unless…

It's Girl Boss Ultrakill, but straight up no queen. The game is bad. Crouch jump dash your way to Mach 9 when the enemy ai is your blind 86 year old grandma trying to take a piss. Press F to Grapple (only 50% of the time). Imber, why are you clipped out of bounds? <sigh> Play the music. Someone at the business meeting forgot about "Arena Map Design". Every mission starts with an audio file of the villain monologuing about his share holder value. What you saw in the trailer is the same aesthetic…

i want to enjoy it, i really do. i like the aesthetics and i LOVE the music. but the gameplay is janky and strange in a way that i can't find fun. the dash jumping mechanic is strange and still feels slow despite being "the fastest way to move." jumping out of a wallrun slows you down considerably. the grapple can clip you into walls in more than a few cases. there were a few times where the bullant pushed me into a wall and i got stuck.... i REALLY REALLY want to enjoy this. but i can't with…

I can't say that I recommend this game, but I wouldn't say it was trash, it was quite mid 2.5/5. I can tell there's a lot of love going into this game, but it just isn't that great gameplay wise. I mean first major complaint is that the whole game is about not stopping, but there's so many things that stop you like unintentional collision, dialogue stops you, you have to stop to grab items for puzzles, there's a lot of random puzzles that slow down the gameplay like keycodes you have to enter.…

contrary to the title of the game, much of the janky platforming and obtuse level design obstructs the flow of movement and makes you frequently stop (girlypop). however, it does feature a dinosaur cowboy tamagotchi who has a thick southern accent, and he made me giggle a lot. so yeah this game is actually pretty awesome.

This one was such a disappointment. I love the aesthetics of this one a lot, at least on paper, with its glossy Y2K UI and hyperactive pink girlypop (wow) visual effects, but the state of the actual gameplay is a complete wreck. Let it be known, I only completed the first two actual areas (hallway area, outdoor cliffy area) of the game, not counting the prologue. But in that time, the game's flaws came out quickly. To start, while the UI looks neat, it is not fun to play with. The multiplier…

This is unquestionably one of the worst video games I have ever played. Every single part of this game feels bad. For a game that's supposedly a fast-paced movement shooter, at max speed it's still 100x slower than any other game. When you max out the speed it still feels like a walking simulator at 0.01x speed. It's like moving through molasses. Everything is slow and floaty. Maybe the worst feeling movement I've ever seen. The guns all feel like absolute ass. I've never seen a game with…

There are a few games I'm sure the dolls know that you are pretty well contractually obligated to play, Celeste, maybe stardew and Baldurs Gate 3. I feel that we should be including this gem in the convo as well. It is a bit jank at times however I'm farrrrr too busy being captivated by the style of the game. 8/10 helped me increase estrogen levels by 500 percent and my tits hurt.

This is the greatest game I have touched in the entirety of my life. It transitioned me on the spot. No saving throw, no parry timing, no nothing. It divafied me in between wavedashes. Levels of c*nt previously thought to be lethal to humans are woven into this game like a lost Greco-roman tapestry. Truely, modern art has not died - she has just transitoned.

I had hopes for this game, but its potential seems to be completely wasted. I am not new to movement shooters, Ultrakill is my favorite game and I have P-ranked all content on Brutal. The weapons, soundtrack, and the aesthetics are fine. But that's about it The movement is mediocre, which is bad since this is supposed to be a movement shooter. The game constantly slows you down, and even when it isn't, the speed cap is too low to enjoy the movement. The primary way of gaining speed is easy…

Game is a blatant rip off of other indie games such as I Am Your Beast, Ultrakill, Mullet Mad Jack, and probably others that I didn't catch. You can tell that a government made this game. Because it doesn't feel like an actual video game. It feels like a fake game that you would see in the background of a cheap cop drama.

I don't regret trying it, and I won't be refunding, but I can't recommend it. I have praise, but there's always a "but" afterwards. FINALLY! ULTRAKILL FOR MEN!!!! In all seriousness, while it's a touch rough around the edges and I did glitch into the wall more than once, the positives of this game vastly outweigh the negatives. The weapons generally feel good to use and the movement mechanics feel unique (though some can feel a little hard to use with the default keybinds-- I swapped several with M4 and M5 and it vastly improved my experience). Overall, pretty damn good game!

Style and humor don't save it from failing at it's own genre approach. Momentum breaks faaaaaarr to often and easily, making it feel slow and boring. There's very little chances for vertical momentum, giving you limited ways to express movement. Also, I can't lie, it's just not fun to look at. Sparkles and lights can't hide the stiff, boring models. It's like looking at bedazzled cardboard.

I really love the art direction for this game. However, that’s pretty much all that’s going for it. The movement is janky with no fluidity or smoothness. The gun didn’t feel great to use. I only played it to the first boss(?) and that was enough for me. I don't have the time or energy to put into a game that doesn't hook me right off the bat. Visually? This game is fun! Game is fun in concept and music is a bop, but for a 'don't stop moving go fast' game...max speed doesn't feel that fast and movement is really clunky. Lots of places you will run into grapples to close to eachother its nearly impossible to grapple to the correct one to progress. I'd love to see some improvements made to this, but I wouldn't recommend the game or pick it up again in its current state <3

Note: It's currently not possible to unlock achievements. Two things are undeniable: the OST is catchy, and the gameplay has rough edges. But seeing something like Don't Stop Girlypop in the bloody arena shooter market for sweaty dudes is inherently interesting. I feel like seeing a real person kinda removes the immersion and I wasnt a huge fan of the flip phone narrative spamming my screen. I'm sorry but this game is an assault on the senses. It barrages you with particle effects, bloom and colors. I had to squint at my screen the entire time just to see what I was doing. I get that they were going for an aesthetic, but there's a way to execute that aesthetic without compromising readability, which is kinda important for a fast paced shooter that holds you at gunpoint and screams at you to not stop moving.
