What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 55 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mostly Negative (30 of 108 positive).
Players widely criticize the game for being extremely short, often completed in under an hour. [1][2][3][4] Many reviewers describe it as a mobile port or demo with minimal content and repetitive gameplay. [3][5][6][7] Some recommend it only when bundled at a discount, calling it a negative-price addition. [8][9][10]

Is this game trash? Yes, BUT "Doodle God + this trash" bundle is actually cheaper than only buying Doodle God (at least during the sale), so I give it a pass for having a negative price.

I have to admit.... I'm not thrilled I bought this with real money. I know it said it was "short", but we literally finished the game in a little more than 30 minutes. The game had no real substance at all to it and was incredibly repetitive.

the worst doodle god game ever made. PROS: none. CONS: just a mobile port. nothing more. the game paused itself a few times to ask to evaluate it and put 5 stars. incredibly short, 37 levels all completed in 31 minutes. it looks like a demo or an unfinished game. the game is VERY easy with childish graphics. it looks like it was made for 3/4 years old kids. on some levels you only have 2 elements so it takes a …

It has some of the things you like about Doodle God... but they hand feed everything to you in levels. Not only do they hand feed it to you, there are only 37 levels which ends on "Human." I beat the game in 25 minutes, and it just seemed underwhelming. I enjoyed the random matching in Doodle God getting a new element, and this just took the fun out of it. Perhaps if there were more levels it could be worth it, but …

This is easily the worst Doodle God game I've every played, and I say this as someone who usually enjoys these games. This should not be on the steam store, or at the very least they should not be allowed to charge money for it. A grand total of 37 levels, and year-old promises from the devs to add more content to this game like more levels and achievements that never got fulfilled. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →100% the game in 0.5 hours (maybe even less), here is my review. Pros: -Fun Doodle God mecanics. -Easy. -Nice visuals. -Hints for help. Cons: -"Completed Task" appears out of the window. -Very short (with only 37 levels), looks more like a demo version or free part of a mobile app. -Can't change window size. -The elements popping up on the level select screen are very few. Overall Score 6/10. Nice visuals, good mechanics and hints, but short and with some screen size problems.

neutral · AI labelView post →Incredibly pointless game. I'm a fan of the "element creation" genre, but this is just bad. It's linear, many of the combinations make little sense even compared to other element games, and as others have said, it's incredibly short. Plus, whoever drew the art for the Rainbow element seriously needs to reevaluate that choice. I only bought this because it was bundled with Doodle God for a massive discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →site isn't loading for me, but I'm guessing it's one of those "combine two things to get a new thing" games like Doodle God, but with AI answering on the fly instead of it being handcrafted?

neutral · AI labelView post →Since this Doodle God game looks like a short experiment to "test the waters" for a mobile app, I wanted to give my 2 cents on it. Pros: +The game makes use of the puzzles's gameplay mechanic in the original Doodle God. Your receive certain elements, and your objective is to combine them in order to obtain a specific new one. This is good since it gives the game a more tangible goal, which players tend to like more. +They don't always give you the 4 basic elements, so you don't end up making…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →30 minutes gameplay ... wtf ? how this can be sold as a game ...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe it's not the greatest element tree, but I could only assume the range of elements would look like a game of Doodle God. Infinite possibilities leading to infinite solutions to problems. I like the idea of utter uniqueness that is implied with a magic system like this!

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The most important thing about this 'game' to remember, is that it is more like an experiment than a game. It was an experiment for the game Doodle God Mighty Trio, which is also a bad game. This experiment has only 37 levels in it, and all the levels are both easy and boring. The 'gameplay' in this 'game' is majorly lacking, with only the 37 levels to play. It's not fun to play for the main reason that it is too easy. This type of gameplay is completely different than the main way that the…

neutral · AI labelView post →Game was part of a heavily discounted bundle with another game I wanted, practically giving away this one for free. Saw the mostly negative reviews and curiosity killed the cat. I assume this game was a 2010's mobile game for toddlers and children that was ported to PC for some quick money. I'm just going to repeat what every other review says; very easy puzzles, few stages, completed the entire game in just under half an hour. Please don't buy this game unless it's in a weirdly cheap bundle…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You mean Doodle God? I loved that game!!!
positive · AI labelView post →mobile game slop with 25 minutes of content, don't bother
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game bundled with a few others and gave it a shot. This is one of the most un-rewarding slog of a mobile game ported to steam. I've had better experiences with games riddled with ads if this game was made for kids, i would give them the decency of an enjoyable experience. Game is mostly waiting through slow animations of the characters introducing the level. This is not it. Pro: saves progress when you Alt+F4
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For my first step into the element combination genre, this may not have been the right choice. It is not a bad game, strictly speaking, but one that feels incredibly pointless and underwhelming. About half an hour of very easy levels, until there are no more new ones coming, which means that you are done. The whole thing feels unfinished in some way. Might not have been built with PC mouse input in mind either. Menu options are extremely meager. Maybe the target audience is a lot younger; if it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve always wanted to make a game like Doodle God but like more cohesive. After a while you start getting less “element” and more “extremely specific thing” such as “rock and roll” and “death metal” for no reason. Another thing is there are discontinuities like typewriters are after computers
neutral · AI labelView post →Slow, repetitive, boring, bad quality game. Game flow gets annoying fast. Audio effects are not good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Classic Doodle game, with 10x the menus. Like seriously... so many menus. Especially in the begging, when it's menu, popup 1, popup 2, wait for the elements to spread out, combine two elements, popup 3, congratulations, back to level select.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little time waster; I got exactly what I expected and it's a good homage to the original
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By the way, I looked through the code, built the game again. It's less of an incremental game and more like a really silly version of Doodle God. Which might be right, I don't know.
neutral · AI labelView post →Doodle God: Alchemy Jam, developed and published by Dikobraz Games, is a casual puzzle experience that takes the core idea of the long-running Doodle God franchise and condenses it into a compact adventure focused on experimentation, creativity, and discovery. The game challenges players to act as a creator, combining basic elements to form increasingly complex objects, creatures, technologies, and civilizations. While its scope is more modest than some other entries in the series, it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wondering if there's a game like Doodle God, only for Kanji. Where, for instance, you combine "Fire" (火) and "Mountain" (山) to create "Volcano" (火山), or how you get "Forest" (森) by multiplying "Tree" (木), kinda thing, or am I over-estimating how many kanji are compounds like that?
neutral · AI labelView post →Excellent game! This 37-level demo already reveals the game's great potential! It's fun, intuitive, and engaging! It's worth playing!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No time for a detailed review so I give this game a rank D. Mediocre game - sadly you can forget it.. See my profile for more details about my reviews. Additional notes: trust the reviews. Do you like Doodle God? go do that game instead. This is ... I don't know what this is. It should have been like a tutorial/guide/spoiler introduction to the main game, offered for free. Admittedly, it is very cheap, but the way Doodle God became so cash grab orientated is saddening, the concept was awesome.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You have to pay for this? Seriously, the game is far too short for my liking plus they modified so many of the combinations that I don't even know how to make half of the elements. I went into this game expecting a fun little game in one of my favorite styles and I ended up with an immensely disappointing experience that I can barely even refer to as a "game" due to how absolutely bland and uninspired it feels. I expected better from you. 0/10, do not get this game even if it's a measly 99…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played through! Graphics – Weak and appy. Soundtrack – Awful. Bugs - None. Overall - I will never play this game again and would not recommend anyone bother playing it through. Its boring with little to no content. Not worth the time. Rating - 7/10 on Win10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The combinations make no sense, and when you get something wrong the animations take a long time to resolve and start over. Bad news for a puzzle game. If I had bought this outright I would be mad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the doodle god series, even though they are usually a rehash of the same game, but this one I did not enjoy, mainly because of the pacing. It is done up like a mobile game, and each element to discover is its own level. In doodle god normally you combine fire and water and it makes steam, then youmove on to the next element, steam plus air is lightning or something. This one you finish the level, and then go back to the map, go into the next level only to discover fire + stone = lava.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had some good potential, if the devs continued to add more levels and some steam features like trading cards or achievements I think the game would've been a lot better. Nowadays it's just more abandonware that it's still being sold on steam for some stupid reason.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT PLAY THIS TRASH The gae only have 37 levels, up to human, then stop ...
