What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 72 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (97 of 235 positive).
Some players praise the game's potential and atmosphere, comparing it to classic survival horror. [1][2] Many reviewers report severe performance issues, including low frame rates and crashes, making the game unplayable. [3][4][5][6] Several players criticize poor controls, translation, and AI voice acting, calling the game amateurish. [7][8][9][10]

An interesting idea, very reminded of the good old resident evil, the graphics are beautiful, especially liked the first level, a beautiful night city. As I understood, the game just came out and is in early access, so for the time being I will not write cons, I will wait for its continuation. The only thing I ask the developers to pay attention to the effects in the bunker, very tired eyes. I put 7/10 infected with …

In this video I take a look at EBOLA a first person horror game. This game is quite impressive but your mostly in tunnels and rooms with most areas blocked until you find access cards. Despite the limited scope it's quite a good game with mystery, shooting, NPC's, and even a puzzle to find the main doors code. I enjoyed the combat aspect as well, having to draw out the infected to deal with them safely while trying …

Now, its hard to say if i can recommend this game. This is my first "review" ever and this game made me want to write one. I wanted to like this game, I really did, and I do but its so poorly optimized that my beast of a computer can barely push out 5FPS in the underground area. I tried everything to make it manageable but in the end of all the personal "fixes", i had to stop. Its early access, yes I know that and …

My first jump scare came after the game crashed every 30 seconds until I read you have to block several of its .exes in your firewall to make it not crash. There's no multiplayer so presumably it's trying to phone home with your credit card numbers. My second big scare came when noticing my GPU temperatures rocketing into the 80s every time I looked at bright red lights! That's a new one. And truly horrifying as …
Summarised from 34 of the 154 public posts collected about this game; every point cites the posts behind it ([n] opens the post) and the split is counted from the posts’ own ratings. Updated Oct 13, 2026. How summaries are made
35% of the 72 Steam reviewers we collected recommend EBOLA. The complaint that keeps coming up: poor optimization causing low FPS and crashes. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

The game is over. The outbreak isn't. Don't forget eastern Congo when the final whistle blows.
neutral · AI labelView post →This game isn't optimized, I get 5 fps in the 2nd area despite having a computer that runs far cry 5 on ultra with 70 fps?????????????? The game doesn't have any sound options and is probably outputting the sound through a device I don't want it to and therefor can't hear it and there's no setting to change it. Unplayable

Talks about COVID, MPox, H5N1 influenza, measles, Andes Hantavirus and Ebola. We really have to up our public health game! By a lot!!
neutral · AI labelView post →Shutting down Ebola research isn’t just reckless, it’s dangerous. Public health isn’t a partisan pawn, but RFK Jr. treats it like a game. This is anti-science sabotage, endangering lives for ideological posturing. We need research, not conspiracy-driven policy that weakens global preparedness.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Missing optimization makes this game pretty much unplayable from area two (the sewers, about two minutes into the game). This just isn't acceptable for any game with a price tag. The game had better stayed in Early Access longer at a vastly reduced price. There's no way I can recommend a game with code that's in an Alpha stadium. Too bad, as this really shows promise. Note: I checked the game options (lowering settings doesn't help much) and looked for useable configuration files in the game's…
