Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 84 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (110 of 121 positive).
Players praise the cyberpunk atmosphere and neon visuals. [1][2][3] Many find the controls responsive and the gameplay fast-paced. [4][5][6] Some reviewers note it is heavily inspired by Dustforce. [7][8]

A mediocre action platformer whose platforming stage design and arena like combat stage designs never reach the heights of its inspirations like Dust Force or N+ with the additional issue of awkward controls and momentum use that never feels right and a dull narrative and hub section to explore. The story features a cyberpunk setting where your extremely annoying character has been diagnosed with an incurable …

This game puts me in a weird place for "recommending" because, do I recommend this game? Yeah, I do recommend Dustforce, the game this is obviously inspired by, self-admittedly so since there's an explicit shout-out to Dustforce in game. Eden Genesis is Cyberpunk Dustforce. If you liked Dustforce, you'll like this game. If you haven't played Dustforce... go play that first? It's cheaper, bigger, better, and comes …

In Eden Genesis you take on the role of Leah, a young cyborg fighting a disease caused by her implants. Your goal is to face a series of platforming trials, each one full of environmental hazards, split-second timing, and enemy encounters to unlock parts of Leah’s mind, overcome corruption, and learn what the future holds. The game gives responsive controls, so when you mistime a jump or dodge, you feel it but when …

A fun, fast paced precision platformer with a major focus on speed, precision, and even sprinkles in combat to keep things fresh. This game is great in many ways, Time trial mode allows you to view ghost as well as race alongside them to try to maximize your score/timer. The controls are fluid and very sharp and precise and the music is very fitting for every stage and the cyberpunk setting. Pros: Strong gameplay, …

Буквально игровая адаптация Ghost in the Shell Предисловие: Ладно, я преувеличиваю, что Eden Genesis - это игровая адаптация GitS.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not "bad" per say. I just find it boring. It's basically a hub containing 'break the targets' style levels from Super Smash Bros. I didn't find this immersive/compelling. I wouldn't have, for instance, have found Aeterna Noctis compelling if the entire game was just made up of the Kings Door levels. The movement feels good, but I'm still not entirely sure how often I "need" to press dash to get a good rank. I S+ ranked the first 15 stages or so and just put it down because I didn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely love the neon colors in this game, how saturated they are! Otherwise, the game is nice and the controls are easy to use.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got acquainted with all the projects of Aeternum Game Studios, my favorite remained Summum. Eden Genesis did not coincide with my expectations, but the fans of teeth-grinding platforming will enjoy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of pixel perfect jumping / very tight timings that just isn't hitting that flow state for me that this kind of game should be, just feels a bit clunky in the way you lose momentum at times. Not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! Full review in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_Mg0uHBWzM
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty decent and has its flaws but is still worth it. The game looks good, movement is responsive and swift, and your not questioning if you missed an item to progress through the story. I could only stick with a 7.5 or 8 out of 10 for one or two major reasons for me but maybe small for you. Otherwise a 8.5 feels about right. Shout out to the Devs for including Moon Samurai (a game I was hoping would be backed on kick-starter and hope will be back soon) The little flaws to me…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looks good. You really can enjoy all game (from beginning to end). Good soundtrack, fast-paced trials. If you are a fan of the platformer genre, then do not pass by this game.

neutral · AI labelView post →Action platformer + controls + fast paced = Futuristic cyberpunk action with chill vibes. Dash, jump, wall climb and more to complete each stage. Good tutorial to help get used to controls. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/] Follow our curator for similar games

neutral · AI labelView post →I haven't beat the game yet, however I have been loving it. I don't normally play these type of platformer time-based games, but I surprisingly have really enjoyed it. It has that same lovely Aeterna soundtrack, smooth controls and satisfying attacks. I am unsure of where the plot is going but I honestly didn't expect much so it's already blown me away. I love how the map is built alot like Aeterna Noctis(that is, like a Metrovania, built mostly horizontally but relatively vertical) Anyways,…

neutral · AI labelView post →Big thumbs down from me. I don't know how a game with controls this imprecise and finicky gets released.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eden Genesis, developed and published by Aeternum Game Studios S.L., stands out as a gripping and visually striking addition to the realm of challenging platformers. Set against a richly crafted cyberpunk backdrop, the game immerses players in a dark future dominated by sprawling corporations and advanced technology. You follow Leah, a young cyborg struggling to reclaim her autonomy from the invasive cybernetic implants that are slowly corrupting her mind. The narrative unfolds as Leah embarks…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game that's hard to walk away from. Pleasant musical accompaniment. The game turned out very beautiful, interesting storyline, dialogues reveal the plot of the plot. I have an old laptop and the game works perfectly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →my perfectionist demands to pass level after level only 100% and not a percent lower, bright special effects do not let you get bored and the cyber style gives a good atmosphere
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A complex and atmospheric platformer in the cyberpunk setting
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A dynamic game that really resembles the cyberpunk style. The game turned out to be very addictive. But in some moments it starts to burn your ass. But I'm sure you will be more agile and can pass faster than me. Only positive emotions from this game! For a long time I have not tried to pass levels in the game with such diligence!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cyberpunk-style platformer with a great soundtrack. It's the best I've played in this genre recently. I was reminded of the old classic Super Meat Boy. The game has a really cool atmosphere, especially with the cyberpunk style.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good platformer, beautiful, dynamic and with responsive controls. I didn’t like two things - the short but at the same time tedious tutorial, instead of giving the player several introductory races where existing mechanics will be gradually introduced, we are shown everything and everyone one time. After 5 seconds I had already forgotten about the triple jump. And secondly, you can’t skip (or I haven’t found how to) the opening scene, which feels like it lasts half a year. While I was waiting…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A platformer with a nice calibrated cyberpunk style and in-game achievements. And I don't need anything else to be happy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The straw that has broken the camels back. I will not be backing a game campaign again. I backed Eden Genesis in 2024 for a physical copy on the Switch. The game was released physically to public sale on the end of July. My Switch copy has not shipped. #kickstarter
negative · AI labelView post →Eden Genesis: Collector's Edition is getting a physical release for PS5 & NSW this Summer (Summer 2026). It includes the Game, Instruction Booklet, Magnetic Pin, Original Soundtrack, Artbook, Acrylic Standee, and Collector’s Box. #Gaming #GamingNews #PlayStation #Nintendo #EdenGenesis #TesuraGames
neutral · AI labelView post →This game is basically a carbon copy of Dustforce, the controls and game mechanics are identical. If you can stomach some cringe cuscenes, there's fun to be had here, specially if you like Dustforce, this is pretty much a DLC pack of levels for it. THE BAD: It's a complete ripoff of dustforce Unskippable cutscenes with an obnoxious main character and cringe dialogue THE GOOD: I'ts basically unofficial DLC or sequel of Dustforce.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →KAMGUSTA'S MINI REVIEW It's a clone of "Dustforce" set in a cyberpunk world and updated to 2025 standards. So with the precision platforming comes also nice graphics, a story, full joypad support and smooth controls. Developer put some effort in it. The genre it's not my cup of tea, but if you liked "Dustforce" you'll like this, too. Best played with joypad Recommended buy price: 5$ Score: 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game mechanics are clearly lacking in depth and explanation in some areas.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game rewards people who enjoying replaying a level until you get max grade which in this case is S+. Cool music and art. Not really my style of game as im not one who fancys speed running or putting a bit more effort to max min a level.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Totally recommend this game. Getting S+ Rank on some level is really hard and frustrating, but the satisfaction you get in the end is priceless. Other than that, the game is fluid and beautiful, the movements are addictive and the lore and reference talks to the 90s kid in me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Haven't gotten all achievements yet but this is an excellent platformer from an excellent dev
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cool game in 2D style and with a cyberpunk atmosphere. The soundtracks are generally good, and the graphics are also pleasing to the eye. I didn't really delve into the plot, but I liked the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cool and exciting 2D game that is fun to play. Unfortunately, I am not very skilled and find it difficult to complete the levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2D symbiosis of platformer, like cyberpunk in reality
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Toys from PlayMarket, such nostalgia. God, I love this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm addicted to getting S+ everywhere, and you will be too. BSO is chefskiss, voice acting is amazing, and movement is super crisp. The game makes you want to go fast. This game is like a mix of the amazing movement mechanics of Aeterna Noctis and the gameplay of Ghostrunner. Aeternum, habéis hecho un juegazo! Los estudios indies lo estáis petando
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game, cool neon style
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is top. I really enjoyed this platformer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bright 2D adventure that will not leave anyone indifferent. A large hero leveling system can make him a super hero)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fast-paced cyberpunk platformer with a very long introductory scene, seriously, very long
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite pleasantly surprised me with this platformer. It is positioned as a precision platformer and I can say that the controls live up to that label. During the game there was no feeling of any buttons not working. This is a plus. Also a plus I will single out for myself the dynamism of the gameplay - all the time in motion does not let you get bored of catcalls or dialogs. From the minuses I will single out only the complexity of the battle with opponents. I had to sit on them for quite a long…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting and even quite good platformer (and a bit of a mini-slasher) in a Cyberpunk setting, with a style remotely reminiscent of Comix Zone
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very well made game, time flies by without a second thought
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game that allows you to look at a world where technology dominates society
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cool, I liked it, +rep for the creator
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I never thought a random urge to buy a new game in the middle of the night is a good idea, but here we are. This game is super good, all i want to do is sit and play this game for hours!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very dynamic gameplay with responsive controls for gamepad. The game world is made in cyberpunk style, animations and neon effects are impressive. In some moments you need a pressing reaction, but I with my dexterous hands it was not so difficult to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having played this game I can say that I liked it despite some difficulty of some levels. Firstly, I liked the visual style of the cyberpunk world of this game: everything is bright, in neon, holograms. Secondly, the variety of locations, we will not only run around the neon city, but also in "holographic dimensions", as I like to call it :D I think that in the future I will look into this game, because I am not indifferent to the Cyberpunk theme, though I don't like platformers on reaction.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great platformer in the cyberpunk genre. It's the best time to sit after work
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cyberpunk platformer with engaging combat and vibrant visuals. Praised for its atmosphere and controls.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is great, I bought the bundle at a discount, I'm happy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I definitely like the game. There's a simple story guiding us along and a brief tutorial, which is always a plus in these types of games. The levels themselves are dynamic and quite challenging if you're aiming for an S+ rank, sometimes even a bit frustrating, but that's part of the fun. I'd love to have more upbeat music during the levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful and interesting platformer in a cyberpunk setting. I play on the keyboard, the controls are good. On the joystick probably plays even better.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting platformer with a simple story, but the tied timer is explained by the game's story. A little lacking in the visuals of the main character, but otherwise the animations are very smooth
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Colourful, juicy graphics in the game.Atmospheric music immerses you in this beautiful and pleasant world. It takes a bit to get used to the controls, but then you can't tear yourself away from the game.
