Final Sentence is a Battle Royale typing game. Together with other players, you find yourself in a hangar, with a typewriter in front of you and a revolver loaded with a single bullet at your temple. Every mistake can be fatal. Only one will remain. From the Steam store page

Many complain about bot-filled lobbies and lack of matchmaking. [1][2][3] Some find the game shallow and lacking content after a few matches. [4][5][6]

For right now, no. I've been obsessed with this game since the public demo was launched in October of last year. It was an amazing idea and as a typing hobbyist I was thrilled to give it a shot. Despite the cool devs, fun idea, and being something that should be right up my alley, I have to say that this is simply not worth picking up in its current state. Many of the things shown in the trailer are either not in …

The most frustrating game you will ever play, but in the absolute best and most absurd way possible. Voice chat on top is just the icing on the cake... Just type it!

Okay, I have not put a LOT of time into this game, but I need to get it out there. I REALLY enjoy this game with friends when I can arrange playing with them, BUT outside of that, I feel like every lobby I join is just full of bots. Please devs, if you ever see this, ADD A LOBBY LIST. It would help the dedicated fans link up to get in some fun sessions together, Nothing is more entertaining than hearing the banter …

I really like the concept, played the demo and got it as soon as it launched. Unfortunately I keep having connection issues to the server and I also find the bot situation quite bad as other reviews mention. ADD A LOBBY LIST as someone else said!! That would help this game a lot.

It's an original game, with a cool idea and a very interesting game format, but there's not much content yet.

Despite the cool devs, fun idea, and being something that should be right up my alley, I have to say that this is simply not worth picking up in its current state. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As in any multiplayer game, there are cheaters here too. It's not fun. Make CBM (cheat based matchmaking). Pit them together. Also permanently flag account as cheating. Then it will be more fun. Do that after "refund" time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique concept. Fun for the first few matches. Beyond that, there was nothing else to look forward to. This is great for someone trying to improve their typing skills though - go crazy! Just not enough content to keep me invested for 10 dollars.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as I love the idea, I really can't recommend the game in its current state. If you're like me that's around the 100 WPM, you'll just be winning a lot and doing a lot of waiting. Unless there's just someone that's absolutely crushing it (which is incredibly rare) or you've made too many mistakes right off the get go, you'll probably just kill the game and make it hell for everyone else. There needs to be an MMR system in place, or I guess a WPM system in this case. It just feels…

neutral · AI labelView post →The game told me to write a review. It may regret doing so. Look, the only thing a typing game really has going for it is its atmosphere, and visually, Final Sentence has it made. But then it throws in fourth-wall-breaking prompts about the need to write reviews to attract more players? Or has players typing nonsense car sounds? Perhaps there might be some vital dissonance there, between the meaninglessness of the text and importance of typing each character correctly, but I don't think…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really think this game has a cool concept but the fact that every game i loaded into was just entirely bots kind of ruined the point of the game in my opinion
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd never even heard of Final Sentence before @mikedrucker.bsky.social wrote about it this week but now I need to play it immediately. A dystopian battle royale game all about writing away on typewriters until someone blows your brains out is such a cool concept. www.thegamer.com/final-senten...
positive · AI labelView post →Can't get a job, but I can still consistently slaughter noobs with my typing skills.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh man, fuck this game. FINAL SENTENCE came out today, it's a hellish typing battle Royale - make too many mistakes and you get a bullet in the head. It's THE LONG WALK meets TYPING OF THE DEAD? I can't remember the last time a game stressed me out this much. www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-qY...
negative · AI labelView post →I see what the other negative reviews are saying. I still bought the game because it is up my alley. My issues are about the same as others, it's just bots (can't really do much about that if nobody is playing) and the bots are extremely easy to beat. I win and the bots just made it half way. I flew through my first 3 games and won all three with extreme ease. With the size of the current player base I'm not sure if having 3 different game modes to choose from is a good idea. At least have…

neutral · AI labelView post →This game has some deep problems. Now that the full game is out it's clear the devs are inexperienced. None of the modes are fun. Battle Royale was fun in the demo when there were more people and everyone was hooting and hollering. Knockdown and Duel just feel mean when one player is much faster than everyone else. I would finish a section and sit there waiting for everyone else to be done, wondering why they even bother to continue because there is no way for them to catch up. And sometimes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the premise, but it is soiled by the small pool of prompts. I can tell that the player 10x my playtime is winning because he has done this prompt a million times and has memorized it. Pretty insane oversight in a game like this. There should be a ton more variety. And, as others have said, there is little else here other than a typing and RNG. There could be more interesting things to make it engaging. It could be that you put the bullet in and spin the cylinder at minimum, but, there is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I took time off to mentally recover from typing all day at work, only to spend my day typing for sport in a video game. 10/10 this game is a blast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was 98% complete. I made almost no mistakes. Then I pressed 3 wrong keys by accident. The game activated the random revolver event. 1 out of 6 chance. Guess what? BAD LUCK. It fired. I died instantly. VERY SAD. 10/10 realistic bad luck simulator. Would get shot again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never thought I'd see the insides of the modern Hollywood writers room. It's pretty fun until you get a court reporter in your match and it's literally GGs. It needs more stuff to keep you playing, even the quests don't change every day, but as it is, it's quite unique and enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really love the game's concept, but it's just not fun when you keep ending up in lobbies full of bots. At first I thought it was because of my language (German), but even in English I can hardly find any other players. Sometimes I get lucky and play against two other people, but that's about it. My WPM is around 70, and the bots are usually under 50 WPM — it’s not even a challenge. The matchmaking really needs to be improved. A ranked system or game mode would also be pretty cool. That way,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I trained by selling items in Runescape back in 2004 by typing the same sentence over and over again. I've been training my entire life for this game. I had a good time, but definitely needs some kind of match making to at least put fast typers in a lobby together. Tiered system with a 100 WPM minimum would be great. Beyond that the game is relatively shallow.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this simple concept. I am terrible at typing and its a very helpful tool to practice. I believe the matchmaking is good. in the first few games I've seen extremely fast typer's and some really slow.. like "are they AFK?" slow. but then you start getting games were you're actually consistently getting 4th and 3rd. If anything I wish there was a bit more incentive to keep the game interesting. We can look around during the whole match and even seen our characters doing gestures like the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Neat concept, got my attention at first, but can't recommend in its current state. May change review later on things get better. At the moment, the prompts get a little boring. I was hoping for actual writing prompts, but instead of trying to add longer or more difficult prompts, they just throw weird things like sentences that have no actual structure, words that don't mean anything, morse code, or country names to increase 'difficulty.' Most of the players you'll be matched with are bots…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like people screaming besides you in open chat before getting a bullet because of their own mistakes... This is the game for you my friend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It isn't a bad game, even so I think it still has many things to improve, such as setting the level of the real people who play (since level 1 is the default) or that it's mandatory to put capital letters. Even so, this game had a lot of potential in its demo, but at launch it's full of bots and you don't meet almost anyone online, so you have to play with friends no matter what. I think it has potential, but it needs to grow a lot...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a good game actually. however i would like to see more game-modes/types.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a typing game. You type. But I can go online and play Typeracer for free. There are no cosmetics, no unlocks. You gain experience after each round, but after getting to above level 60 in an hour, it appears that these levels do nothing. It doesn't seem that they're even used for matchmaking, as every lobby generally has 1 dude who is streets ahead, and then the rest of the pack chomping at my heels cause I'm so goated (except when I lose). Also, WHAT AM I WAITING FOR??? I type for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All those years training to type in primary school against auto typing bots has finally paid off. I lost to a guy who wouldn't stop asking me about spiders here in Aus. Another guy kept screaming "I've played these games before" Nothing can compete to the voice acting I hear in this game. 10/10 Game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Right now I can't recommend this since it is just the original demo with two extra gamemodes, something the game didn't particularly need since the core game mode was essentially perfect and the new gamemodes are the exact same experience just a little shorter, which is about one or two seconds if you're having a bad time. What this game really needs is meta progressions. Player skins, typewriter cosmetics, player banners, medals and all the kind of things you'd want to grind for when playing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game. The premise is awesome, the music, the environment, the voice chat.. i love it all Just need to fix the quick match matchmaking failing error. In fact, I'd love an autoqueue feature that puts me straight into another match. Also after playing about an hour, i started seeing repeat typing tests, but i love the randomness and variety of the tests that I've seen. Hopefully more get added to keep things fresh.. could maybe add an editor so people can submit their own tests. I'd…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There just isn't enough meat on the bone to maintain an audience for a multiplayer game. Last I played there were 3 people total playing. It's a shame, launch week was incredible.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid game if you're learning to type or want to compete with friends -- or both. However, I have neither of those. After about 30 minutes of playing by myself alongside beginners and bots, the novelty of the game wore off for me. If the devs add some sort of difficulty curve/ranking system, I would likely change my review; however as it currently stands, I feel like I'm Usain Bolt racing against Helen Keller if she had stumps for legs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love typing gamse and this one definitely challenges you pretty well! My only gripe is that the sound effects of the clacking keybroad is slower than my WPM and can be distracting as fk ... oh no PLEASE N--*BANG*
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoy typing games. I enjoy a challenge. I enjoy hearing other people stressing out alongside me. Great game to play after typing my reports for work!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun switch-up on the typing genre, but unfortunately, there isn't enough content to make me want to keep coming back like I would with other battle royale-style games. Also, the "Battle Royale" mode itself feels very empty with its 21-player count. Maybe other lobbies reach higher numbers, but during my 100% completion run, most—if not all—of my lobbies had a maximum of 21 players. That said, there’s definitely a fun idea here. With more content, some extra balancing, and a bit more polish,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a good concept but not at all worth $8 or $9. Half of the game is bots because of low player base and theres no incentive to keep playing at all. No ranked, no progression, no unlockables, leaderboards, just nothing

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a ton of potential, but it's VERY buggy. I am leveling up and it's not apparent what that does. And they have a stats page but half the games I played had a bug that made it either: A: End as a loss before finishing/doing anything that should trigger a loss B: Winning and it not counting c: Some weird thing where I was in a game like duel and two people were already playing and I was like in a corner and lost still? A game that is putting all it's cards (at the moment) in…

neutral · AI labelView post →This game helped me to develop the skills to write this review. I learned how to type with speed. And it's a battle royale that I can win Because it's about muscle memory And not twitching. One candle remains. Mistakes; 3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A battle royale where you type instead of shoot, and somehow it works. The tension of typing under pressure is real in a way I didn't expect. The problem is the skill gap. If you type slowly you simply can't compete against good players. Bot-filled lobbies make the early experience feel a bit flat too. Worth trying if you're already a fast typist or want to become one. [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45170856/]>>>>Curator Page<<<<

positive · AI labelView post →This is what Alan Wake felt. This is a very special game where we have to type to survive. You have to type not only without mistakes, but also as quickly as possible. It seems very easy at first, but as time goes on, the stress increases, and your finger slips onto the wrong key. The most interesting thing is that everything takes place online against real people. Visually, the game is designed in a 1984 style, and it looks very cool and atmospheric. I'm glad my typing skills finally came in…
