Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook
Developer Winter Wolves
Winter In Fairbrook is a dating and farming simulation game and takes place after the first Flower Shop game. Play as Natalie this time, and meet some of the characters of the first game like Clara, Susana, Steve, Trent, Jacob plus a "new entry": Ryan, who runs the general store of the town. Some reviewers enjoy the story and characters despite flaws. [1][2][3]

I was able to play through the entire game in about an hour, the only choices are ones that lead to either an increase in a particular character's opinion of you or a decrease. There is only one event that happens in the whole game. You can spend your time working gardening, but there's no point, since there is literally nothing to buy except for more seeds. I bought it on sale, and I am still hugely dissapointed

Flower Shop: Winter in Fairbrook is cute and engaging, but not terribly deep. Winter comes to the quaint little town of Fairbrook, and this time you play a spoiled girl looking for love with the town's male residents while working in the town's popular flower shop. I didn't find the story quite as engaging as in its predecessor, Summer in Fairbrook, but I liked the new characters well enough and it was nice to see …

Good Sim game.. i swear though, i wanted to punch my character after a while, SHE'S SO RUDE! >_<

A nice, simple, funny and cute hearthwarming game, i definitely enjoy it. If we speaking about cons, than i can tell that gameplay can be a little repeative and characters more or less stereotypic sometimes, some routes are more complex and interesting than others (though i guess it depends from your point of view). But game also has cute scenes, especially final ones (snow fight and last romance scenes are …

The Flower Shop: Winter in Fairbrook, is the second game after Summer in Fairbrook, but both are stand alone games. Whereas I played and was mildly excited about Summer in Fairbrook, I enjoyed Winter in Fairbrook far more. This may have to do with my preference for female protragonists, but I also found scenes themselves more enjoyable. Each of the optainable males have unique personalities, and while they may fall …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much like Summer in Fairbrook, I bought this game on sale, and yet still find it difficult to recommend to anyone, other than those firmly commited to the genre. And much like it's predecessor, Winter in Fairbrook leaves much to be desired. To say the game is bad would be like saying a small piece of chocolate cake is bad (assuming that you enjoy chocolate cake). It's still cake, it's still good, but it is grossly unsatisfying. The writing leaves much to be desired. Very much like Steve in…

It's a stand alone game so you do not need to play the first but the characters are shared through both stories. You return to Fairbrook but this time as Natalie, a lazy college student who's parents have decided its time for her to get a job. Your roommate Clara recommend the flower shop her friend runs back in Fairbrook as a temp job for the holidays. You get to Fairbrook and seem to not like all the hardwork at…

neutral · AI labelView post →This was a pretty forgettable read. The game is incredibly short (12 weeks/turns, and only 1 major event besides the opening and ending). What does stick out to me though is how terrible the UI is while reading. 1) The characters are drawn tall/thin and appear in the middle of the screen. Their expressions change sometimes, but their head will be towards the top of the screen while your eyes will be bottom/center focused on the dialogue. It's true that many visual novels put the character art…

neutral · AI labelView post →Visual novel that should be free. Unfortunately there is a lot of scenery recycling and the music is boring and repetitive. Considering that for the same price you can get Tiny Bunny, well... forget this antique stuff. 4/10 my rating
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My feelings on this game are kind of mixed. I feel like it could have been so much better but I still love what it has. I've played many visual novels and dating sims mainly otomes of varing qualities and backgrounds, and I always enjoyed them for something. I'm gonna go right off in saying that the biggest isses with this game is it's length and difficulty. It felt way too easy. -The gardening simulation was okay but besides for getting the special endings it didn't give me any insentive…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Flower Shop: Winter in Fairbrook has you spending more time planting flowers and planning your schedule than interacting with the other characters, which are all rather bland and shallow. If you want a farming game or a VN there are better options. If you want both at once...there are still better options.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This has been in my wishlist for at least 4 years and I was only able to purchase it now. I've always wanted to buy this game since I was a huge fan of its predecessor when I was younger, even though the farming system was quite bad. Imagine how happy I was when I finally saw a sequel that catered to female players. I was finally able to purchase it today. I immediately downloaded it and played the game as soon as I was free, only to be greatly disappointed by the quality of the game. Dear…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything was pretty good, apart from Natalie. Rude, stuck up, spoilt little ♥♥♥♥♥ doesn't deserve any of the ♥♥♥♥ she gets. But an alright sim (:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What an awful character! The main character is a lazy, entitled jerk. I kind of wonder why someone would decide that this was the kind of character people would want to play. Anyway, after watching the main character be spoiled, irresponsible, and rude for a while, I decided that I just couldn't take it. My advice is to not waste your money. If you would like a somewhat lazy, disorganized MC who is pleasant to play, I recommend Hustle Cat.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played many different otome games before, and this is the worst. Nobody could ever possibly like the player character; she's selfish, rude, lazy, and has no good points to speak of. The guys seems OK, the artwork is good, but the MC ruins this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hanako’s Flower Shop isn't a complicated VN, it's in fact the opposite as this game prefers to keep things simple... neutral · AI labelView post →Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook is a visual novel and a sequel to Flower Shop: Summer In Fairbrook, where you'll make choices what to do with your week. Each activity raises a certain stat forcing you to balance your time, which stat to improve, which activity to pursue, and how hard you want to work in the flower shop growing flowers to earn money in the game. Certain events will occur depending on your activity. The game is part Visual Novel and part farming simulation. The VN parts are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This visual novel is a sequel of sorts to Summer in Fairbrook. Like that game, you end up in Fairbrook to... learn responsibility. This time, though, you are pursuing the boys. Trent, Jacob, and Steve return from the previous game (which I guess assumes Steve didn't win any of the girl's hearts), and a new guy, Ryan shows up (more or less to be the voice of reason in the game). Some of the features of the prior game have also been streamlined. There are nine endings. One for ending up alone,…

neutral · AI labelView post →I have conflicting feelings about this game. On the one side, I totally read worse and there were cute moments in all of the routes. Graphics are cute, story is ok, most routes are cute (except Ryne - his was just meh) and it's really easy. But I hated the MC in the beginning (which I guess was the point) - she was an entitled, selfish, lazy, irresponsible brat. Story had some really cringe moments - I kept thinking that I would probably enjoy this game a lot more if I was 12 or something.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do yourself a favor and don't buy this game. It just sucks. It's way too short, the characters are not developed enough and the protagonist is insufferable. If you're interested in an otome by Winter Wolves, better buy Nicole or Roommates.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game in the dating genre, 9 different endings available depending on how you play it but if you just want to unlock it for 100% it's still quick to do so. Good story, good music and nice visuals.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a game rated PG, it's great. The game is very quick and simple. All the characters are decent and if you know what you're doing, you can finish a character route within an hour or so. It's a good visual novel with lovely music and no noticable grammatical errors in the text. My only complaint will be that the drama was kept tamed and that nothing really surprised me. So I would recommend this game to anyone whio is new to the otome general or anyone who wants a very casual otome game.

neutral · AI labelView post →The fact that all boys' stories are relatively interconnected and you need to interract with at least some of them to get the required stats for the one you are going for means that you will have seen all of their dialogues multiple times by the time you are through with all branches of the story. That is, unlike well-thought out otome, where you do not get to know other characters when you are going for one - or where their dialogue changes depending on which branch of the story you are on,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very teenager game with guitar music. A young woman works as a florist assistant, she'll seduce a young man who's interest is either culture, intelligence, this or that, each coreesponds to one of the activities. You plan your time table once a week. There's a simple story, mainy casual but with a drama part towards the end. There's a snowball fight. Kiss scenes are cliche. I recommend for teenagers only, adults would rather get bored after an ending.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found all the characters really boring, including the main character is extremely shallow and lazy, not someone I wish to play as the protagonist. She is also rude and very selfish. I don't understand why she is so strange looking compared to some of the other females in the game which are pretty and feminine. And also the males look like 12 year old boys, act also like little boys and not men and don't feel comfortable trying to romance any of them due to this really young look and…

While they have improoved with story writing, they still have the same other problems. The game is, as the prequel, solidly made, but too expensive without discount. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have a rather long review of the first game Flower Shop: Summer in Fairbrook, and I'll cut this one short by saying that this game is pretty much like that one, except you can expect to get about half as much money from selling Flowers in the Flowershop which would be like your personal garden from the first game. Another difference, if you couldn't tell, is that you play the role of a female character this time around, the roommate of one of the girls from the last game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Asgore will play a major role. Flower Shop Dark World. Asriel does not show up. Noelle joins your party. Susie notices something is wrong with Noelle in the Weird Route. We can finally craft the Twisted Sword. FRIEND continues to be a mystery.
