🎬 Frankenstein (2025) Del Toro is a true auteur. Few directors working today have a visual style as distinctive as his. Technically, FRANKENSTEIN is the most impressive film of 2025. I hope it does well at the Oscars on Sunday!
Just watched "Frankenstein" (2025) on @netflix. This movie deserves an Oscar nomination and is one of the most important movies of the next 10 years. I think I should also read Mary Shelley’s original novel from 1818.
okay honestly, Frankenstein (2025) is one of the worst adaptations I have ever seen, completely misses the point of the book and both main actors are doing their worst performances in it. It is a "fine" movie and the costumes are cool i guess
Frankenstein (2025) is tantamount to self-parody on GDT's part, a work that reads less like a respectable passion project than the most basic fan-casting made manifest. Another recent adaptation that makes me think I should just finish the book already.
The Oscars reminded me that I still need to watch Sinners. I’m so glad Frankenstein won several awards. Imo it is the best movie of 2025. 👌
