60 of 307 · most liked firstI'm 1 of the few who like Glass Onion more than Knives Out & I was astonished by Knives Out. I like this 3rd film the best. Cos it's sorta about right now. Has some good laughs but is darker & more somber than the previous 2 but balanced by a couple moments that made me tear up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
positive · AI labelView post →Watching Glass Onion again to remind myself of the time that giant fcking space-idiot had a whole movie made to mock him, specifically, as dumb.
positive · AI labelView post →Glass Onion was a good movie #mmmigration
positive · AI labelView post →I thought GLASS ONION was eh to bad, but it's very funny that a popular director got to make a movie the entire thesis of which was "Elon Musk is stupid and has accomplished nothing"
negative · AI labelView post →Rian is a very talented filmmaker who needs someone holding his leash to restrain him from playing to the crowd on Twitter/BlueSky/wherever he is now. This is the fundamental difference between Knives Out, an actual movie, and Glass Onion, a two hour exercise in in-group signaling.
negative · AI labelView post →Thinking back, was Glass Onion the only movie or show that acknowledged COVID? It seems like everything else just ignored it.
neutral · AI labelView post →I didn’t even know he was going to be in that Knives Out Benoit Blanc movie with Ed Norton, until I was watching. He was so good in his character. (Glass Onion, BTW.)
neutral · AI labelView post →Glass Onion truly a film that has aged like milk. Alas. Still fun, and I'm still looking forward to watching Wake Up Dead Man. But oof
neutral · AI labelView post →Also, the Glass Onion is going to continue to be a favorite movie of mine for a long time, and it does NOT memory hole the pandemic.
positive · AI labelView post →Just finished Glass Onion (4 stars out of 5), which was a lot of fun. Now I’m starting the third Knives Out film Wake Up Dead Man (2025) once again written and directed by Rian Johnson. Like Glass Onion, this is a first time watch.
positive · AI labelView post →Movie Frame Study for Elynaal, ref frame is from Glass Onion (2022)
neutral · AI labelView post →On bluesky now, upon rewatching it, I will reveal my lowest opinion: Glass Onion is just not that good of a movie. It's okay on its own, and kinda tragic given how much better Knives Out is. Thank you
negative · AI labelView post →I think Glass Onion needs to be understood primarily as a pandemic movie, both topically and in terms of its approach to filmmaking. really limited options
neutral · AI labelView post →I’m not sure about the plot for the next Glass Onion film at *all*…
neutral · AI labelView post →It's really interesting unpacking why in each Knives Out movie Benoit Blanc doesn't straightforwardly commit to doing his job. We just rewatched Glass Onion and it's like, yeah, he knows that he's a part of the system, and the system doesn't punish billionaires.
neutral · AI labelView post →Is Glass Onion like the only major film to even mention it/be set during it? Directly? I know that one iphone Soderbergh movie loosely was set in it, but
neutral · AI labelView post →I watched Wake Up Dead Man (the new Knives Out movie) and it was real good. I didn’t know it was about a Catholic church specifically so it had me like 👀👀 Glass Onion was fun and indulgent, but a little silly. This one is bit more like the original. But I enjoy that each movie has its own flavor!
neutral · AI labelView post →same -- I'm still annoyed I didn't get to see Glass Onion on a big screen because it broke my streak of seeing every Rian Johnson movie during its theatrical run (even Brick!)
neutral · AI labelView post →Seeing Wake Up, Dead Man in a couple hours and my biggest concern is if the film is going to address that The Glass Onion had Jeremy Renner’s Hot Sauce and this movie has Jeremy Renner playing a character who is not Jeremy Renner in a world that already has Jeremy Renner.

neutral · AI labelView post →The Glass Onion is almost world building for Blanc. Really good movie, and Daniel Craig is going to age like the finest whiskey.
positive · AI labelView post →Just rewatched Glass Onion, what a fantastic movie. Janelle Monae needs to do more acting.
positive · AI labelView post →Glass Onion was a great movie lol
positive · AI labelView post →Wake Up Dead Man is probably the best of the three Knives Out movies. It plays with real emotion and humor better than Glass Onion, and it helps to have a lead that's not Blanc, like the first film. Glenn Close is a stand out and Josh O' Connor continues to impress. I wish him a long career.
positive · AI labelView post →So among the Benoit Blanc series, I think Knives Out is still the best movie as a murder mystery. Wake Up Dead Man has the weightiest and most heartfelt themes. Glass Onion then is the weakest of the two
negative · AI labelView post →Where Knives Out is a finely honed blade of a film where the details make the story sing, Glass Onion is a sledgehammer where everything is out in the open
neutral · AI labelView post →Glass Onion was not the first movie about Elon Musk. The first movie about Elon Musk was Jurassic Park.
neutral · AI labelView post →Watched Glass Onion tonight. I liked it! It was good. I liked Knives Out a lot more, though. Glass Onion is a good movie, well set up, very funny, and extremely cathartic, but Knives Out in a fantastic mystery. Glass Onion isn't a very good mystery. Though that's also the point, the theme of it all.
positive · AI labelView post →The way I’d describe the difference between the two Benoit Blanc movies is that Knives Out tells you Rian is right because of the things that happen in the movie and Glass Onion has things happen in the movie because Rian wants to tell you he’s right.
negative · AI labelView post →"This person played Among Us in 2020, a pastime so common it was featured for hilarity in the movie GLASS ONION, which is set in the spring of 2020," is just how is that newsworthy in any way? tell me he played Assassin and stalked people IN PERSON and it would be an interesting detail.
neutral · AI labelView post →Much like the “enigmatic” bajillionaire in the Knives Out Glass Onion movie. I’m thinking he inspired Edward Norton’s character
neutral · AI labelView post →Glass Onion is really good thus far but I have no idea how there’s an hour left in this movie.
positive · AI labelView post →Always impressive how transparently stupid he is. No shadowy tactics, no 4d chess, hell not even tic-tac-toe. There is zero mystery to how evil this guy is. Glass Onion might be the film of the decade for that reason 😂
positive · AI labelView post →Rewatched Glass Onion and Knives Out recently. I still think Knives Out is a much better film, but damned if Glass Onion wasn't completely on point about mistaken success for intelligence.
neutral · AI labelView post →Rewatching Glass Onion. Forgot it was such a lockdown times movie. Comforting to see people wearing masks and distancing.
neutral · AI labelView post →Mostly just amused by the fact that Jeremy Renner is in this film playing a character, despite Glass Onion having established that Jeremy Renner also exists in the Knives Out universe as a real-life person.
neutral · AI labelView post →That was a lot of movie! I get why some people like this one best; it did a lot and was working with a lot. But I still prefer Glass Onion
positive · AI labelView post →Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (2025, dir Rian Johnson). Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) returns for his most dangerous case yet. Sequel to 'Glass Onion (2022)'. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/812583-wake-up-dead-man-a-knives-out-mystery
neutral · AI labelView post →It stinks that Knives Out came out a month too early. Contemporary-set, original story that spawned a well-regarded franchise, plus Netflix distributing Glass Onion and Wake Up Dead Man is pretty emblematic of changes in film consumption
neutral · AI labelView post →If you think about it, Knives Out - Glass Onion pretty much is a Muppets movie when you compare it to what the billionaires and their academic rent-a-friends get up to on their islands.
neutral · AI labelView post →LFG. I loved Knives Out and Glass Onion. Last time I got this immediately stoked for a movie it was hearing Violent Night is getting a sequel lol
positive · AI labelView post →I feel like this is a truly unfair question so I'll say that my second favorite movie starring a pro wrestler is Glass Onion.
positive · AI labelView post →they already made the perfect musk movie tho (KNIVES OUT: GLASS ONION)
positive · AI labelView post →I finally saw Glass Onion this past weekend. Good movie.
positive · AI labelView post →Batista is a Genuinely Good Actor (TM). I'm still impressed by how perfectly cast he is in Glass Onion, a film loaded with name actors at the top of their scene-stealing game.
neutral · AI labelView post →GLASS ONION is a very good movie for the current moment
positive · AI labelView post →It's the movie everyone says isn't as good as the other two, but Christ was Glass Onion a prophetic film.
positive · AI labelView post →The "I got Phil GLASS to compose the hourly Dong for the Glass Onion" in the film GLSSS ONION is such a great pun, and I'm related news, we're more watching the Benoit Blanc mystery I've seen the most. It's GLASS ONION, we're watching GLASS ONION.
neutral · AI labelView post →Revisiting GLASS ONION (as much a quintessential Summer Movie as KNIVES OUT is a Fall / Thanksgiving movie) and it's not the lightning in a bottle that the original was, but you wanna talk about a movie that's only aged like fine wine? Boom.
positive · AI labelView post →Wake Up Dead Man is a great movie and I'm saying this as someone who disliked Glass Onion.
negative · AI labelView post →If its blasphemy to some, then I want nothing to do with those some. Glass Onion is a fantastic film.
positive · AI labelView post →Did you know The Glass Onion only made $13m in theaters. Wow, what a flop! Or, it was a streaming movie that Netflix was contractually obligated to 4 wall for 1 week in limited release and not actually a financial failure.

neutral · AI labelView post →Watching Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022), which I've never seen before, and this movie is sickly funny but also anxiety-inducing. Perhaps all of these rich assholes will get what they deserve, unlike in reality, making it a fantasy film? I'll just have to see. 🤔
neutral · AI labelView post →I didn't realise thinking Glass Onion was the best Knives Out movie was a controversial opinion
positive · AI labelView post →Rewatched Glass Onion again before our viewing of the latest Benoit Blanc tonight and it still holds up as just a decadent film. Really solid.
positive · AI labelView post →Glass Onion is a dumb movie but this panel is quoted by me endlessly
