There's usually a lot going on and you have a bunch of different button combos (too many, frankly) at your disposal, but it's almost always more effective to just kinda mash until the slop enemies stop spawning. Or in other words: the combat isn't focused in any dimension enough to be satisfying.

Extremely well polished combat and movement exactly what you would want from an action platformer of this kind. The fluid snapping to attack enemies is so satisfying. The dialogue is hilarious. As for the story, I didn't care much for it. I appreciated the story existing but I'm here for quick, arcadey, DOOM-like combat. It takes about 6-8 hours to finish the story but there's extra content if you want to play more.

Outside of the incomplete shader compilation, which means almost every new action will result in your FPS tanking briefly, the game is rife with Borderlands-esque "humour" (it is so bad oh my god) and boring mash X (and occasionally press Y so you can mash X some more) gameplay. You can't save midway through so if you have life stuff happen or can't commit an hour, you'll have to continuously replay the entire level over and over. This in the 2020s is dumb and disrespectful to your audience and I award you no points. I haven't played in like 10 days because I don't want to make a marriage level commitment to it.
