I don't know what all the thumbs down are for on this game. Graphics are decent, gameplay is simple yet fun, it's relatively hard, and the sci-fi atmosphere is well done. If you're a fan of Diablo style RPGs and/or sci-fi themed games, ignore the haters and give it a try. It's worth spending only $5. P.S. This is an isometric action RPG. Everything you love about the Diablo games, or Torchlight, or Titan Quest/Grim Dawn has been toned down quite a bit here. Not as many classes or skills or equipment options. I haven't even run into any side quests yet. So, in essence, this is a poor man's sci-fi version of Diablo. However.... this is a poor man's SCI-FI version of Diablo. Fighting robots and mutants and aliens on spaceships and distant worlds is a very cool idea for this genre. The graphics…

I wondered just how bad this could be, and then I found out that in an already overcrowded genre (top-down action RPGs), this is easily bottom ten, because basic features like "shooting the thing right next to you" don't even work consistently. Or "oops, your dodge move will only function randomly". In fact, I don't know that a single thing worked properly 100% of the time. Slow pacing, terribly boring enemies (...zombies! ...in space! ... that walk slowly towards you while you pump literally thousands of bullets into them). Entertaining. The game is basically a top-down shooter. It's similar to Shadowgrounds. If you liked that you might like this. Decent graphics. The story is simple and not too interesting but is OK I guess. No bugs or crashes. Runs fine on Win 7. I would say that is not deserving of such hate. It does have some flaws. I recommend Greed: Black Border (GBB) but it's a borderline decision. I recommend it if you feel for a 10h quick action zombie smashing fix! It felt short and I usually spend ages in games like these selling every piece of unwanted loot and backtracking and checking out every corner of every map. That one popular review pretty much sums it up nicely. It's a fairly monotonous ARPG with no real stand-out features or aspects, but does manage to be fairly competent overall. Early on, its quirky implementation of shift-to-fire caused some frustration, particularly because I played the most ranged class. A waste of time in both gameplay and activity (nobody plays games claiming to be productive). The controls are bad: attacking in one direction requires holding down the Shift key and holding down the left mouse key. It's a very basic Sci Fi take on Diablo (or perhaps Inquisitor-Martyr) set on a space craft and an alien planet. There are some light puzzle elements. You have to exactly align the lift mechanism in Chapter 1 which is tricky, but other than that, there's nothing too difficult. Whilst the game is basic, it gets those basics right, albeit with no additional frills. GREED is a sort of hack-and-slash styled game in a sci-fi setting, giving you access to such exciting classes as "flamethrower guy", "gatling gun guy", or "energy rifle girl". Noteable features of the game are the surprisingly good music track, ambient and very fitting to the theme and mood of the game, and some particularly deadly traps, usually based on careful, timed movements. lesser-known alien breed clone with 3 classes and their own skill trees. controls need getting used to but I grew up with crusader: no remorse and no regret with a different but also cumbersome method, so wasn't that hard. here you gotta hold lmb to move and wasd dodges in the desired direction. there's some tutorializing but the manual is also included, might want to skim it first. levels are huge and there are a lot of enemies and loot, so it will get tedious if you like to leave places…

This is a 3D rendered 2D top down shooter where you control a space soldier exploring an abandoned spaceship. There's lightweight RPG elements as you can improve your character with equipment and levelling up, making this a kind of weak sci-fi Diablo ripoff. First up the graphics are great. There's 4K support but the text is unreadable because they didn't know about UI scaling and didn't bother testing this on modern PCs, which is a let down. The real problem is the gameplay itself.…

Gameplay seems OK but it is difficult to play after having gotten used to more modern games of this type. The lack of simple things like pathing make it frusterating. When you click to walk somewhere, the character walks straight toward your cursor regardless of obstacles. Enemies do the same thing as well and often get stuck around corners because the path straight to you is blocked. I suppose this could be used to advantage.

Hmmm, prepare to be bored. Pro - animations look good - big maps Con - you get better stuff just can't really feel it - even the weakest enemies take long time to kill - a little too long that makes it boring 5/10 rating. I like the grinding but it's a little too much for me, if you just wake up on a weekend and you are fresh with energy you can play this game, just stop after a couple of hours because it could tire you out with boredom :D . Wasted potential.
