Players praise the game as one of the best rhythm games, especially with mods. [1][2][3] Some reviewers note the game is a port of Future Tone with dated songs. [2][4][5] A few players criticize Denuvo and lack of audio sync settings. [6][7]

Project DIVA Mega Mix+ is (in my opinion) one of the best rhythm games of all time, but you should do a few things for it to become truly great. -Get the VIP version with all the DLC. this is cheaper than buying the song pack on its own and the game sucks without the song pack. -Before you start the game for the first time, go into Steam's DLC menu for the game and deactivate the item unlock key. the item unlock key …

(Banger) I bought this game cuz im bad at osu. stayed because apparently I needed to develop a crippling addiction to pressing buttons exactly 0.0003 seconds before the music tells me to. Miku has now watched me fail the same song 47 times and I’m pretty sure she’s disappointed in me
- [2]
This game is still just a remaster of Future Tone like Mega Mix on Switch was, but its addition on Steam and therefore on PC, makes it one of the best in the series purely because of the way easier moddability
- [3]
hatsune miku ruined my life with her rhythm game this is the greatest rhythm game ever made, and the mods really ascend it to another level

Pros : Bring some nostalgic moment when i still play it on PS 3. Love vocaloid song since in highschool and love the UNUSUAL hit button for rhythm game that time. Cons : Song is not updated since very looong ago, need updated some song and costume ofc, so it could get more attention for rhythm player nowadays, especially who knows and loves vocaloid song. Recommended! (8 of 10)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Put Godzilla and Hatsune Miku in every video game. You don't need to explain anything, just put 'em in there. Call of Duty? Madden? Tetris? You can't tell me these games wouldn't be better with the addition of Godzilla and Hatsune Miku.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically guys... I'm goated. The game is great if you love rhythm games whether you're coming back into the Project Diva franchise, or if you're brand new to the series. Either way MOST rhythm gamers will enjoy this game. And NO guys... even after playing 1600 hours, I still can't FC Intense Voice EX...

I know this game is basically Future Tone, but I missed the DIVA Room. If you just want to jump in and play a few songs quickly, it's an excellent game. In my opinion, it was worth every penny. Notes: ✓ You can map hotkeys natively. ✘ Telemetry is enabled by default, which causes stuttering. (Disable it with the "DivaNoSpy" mod using Diva Mod Manager).

neutral · AI labelView post →Music so good the game froze and whitescreened when I went to close it and was so strong I had to restart my pc because it still persisted even after unplugging the ssd the games files was located on! Not even task manager could appear above this game! Miku is simply too strong for me!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My clumsy hands can't beat anything above Hard no matter how hard I try. If you're ready to grind your fingers to dust? Then I highly recommend it. There are some issues, particularly due to Denuvo - the game sometimes refuses to launch, or there are bugs with key binding, but otherwise, even the base version will let you fully enjoy the songs and the gameplay. Also, don't forget about the fan mods. Shame they abandoned the game in favor of Project Sekai :((((

They are releasing a new calibration method as well as focusing on the dongle instead of connecting to WiFi, but i still want something better. There are alternative tracking…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a rhythm game enjoyer, I thought I could handle this game with no problem. Boy, was I wrong. Even after playing for hours, I'm still trash at it, and barely clearing an Extreme stage is the absolute peak of my achievements here. But would I still recommend it? Heck yeah, because it's HATSUNE MIKU. I might not be able to fix my own life, but at least I can make Miku sing Sekai de ichiban ohimesama~. 10/10 EDIT: I finally 100%’d all the achievements! Took me almost 2 months since buying the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full price support! I know people complain that the songs are old and the game feels dated, but that’s exactly why I’m here. This is Project DIVA. I love that it kept so many songs and PVs from the 2009 PSP version. They're memories. Forever my World Is Mine princess :)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →my sweet boyfriend bought this for me and i adore it, it's so cute and fun and really the first rhythm game i've enjoyed playing on pc if not a little buggy for me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a port of a game that’s been around for a while, on top of that, SEGA charges for the DLC like its liquid gold but hey, it is what it is. Verdict: If you like Vocaloid or rhythm games, its a must-buy, plain and simple. Its the best Project DIVA to date purely because of the freedom you get by being on PC. 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ Denuvo, I cannot play this game on my ROG Ally X because this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game requires an Internet connection to function.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very very nice game lots of replay-ability and kaitos in it so everytime you play it you think about kaito
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i have been a fan of vocaloid and the project diva series for well over a decade now (causally aging myself with that comment) and i never get sick of these games. i own this specific game on the switch and have over 250 hours in it, so it is safe to say that i enjoy it. i decided to get this on steam because it has been a couple years since i have played it and i wanted to experience it fresh again. well, that and achievements. this game is truly so much fun. there are so many songs that it is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite my relatively low hours on Steam, I have over 100 hours on Switch and played the crap out of this over Covid and beyond here and there. This is my comfort game, and revisiting this a couple years later with not having played it in a while has been equally as comforting. The familiar (and nostalgic) vocaloid songs have put a massive smile on my face while playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hatsune Miku.... Save me Hatsune Miku... Please, ily<3 10/10 really fun rhythm game, I love dress up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →after changing the button prompt to be Arrow Keys instead of ABXY this becomes one of the best rhythm games I've ever played. There's a ton of song, character, and outfit variety and the entire game is just a good experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →look, i really enjoy playing this game. however, seeing as there's overwhelmingly positive reviews, i really want to point out a huge negative for me: lack of accessibility in terms of visuals. i'm neurodivergent and disabled, and my symptoms mean i have a slow reaction speed, easily get distracted, and am photosensitive and easily overstimulated by movement/colours. before i start this: hats off to the creators of the MVs. animation is REALLY hard, and it's incredibly impressive how they made…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best rhythem game every made , playing this made my depression go away seeing hatsune miku dance and sing along your finger was quite a wonderful experience and if hatusne miku ran the world i bet the whole world would be all rainbows and peaches and everyone would be happy. The world truly belongs to her
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are many rhythm games on the market but when it comes to the best one of them all, Project DIVA is absolutely a top contender for it. With 240+ songs and its really fun charts, I can definitely say this game made me enjoy vocaloid music a lot more than I did before. It's a very replayable game as you can always aim for a perfect score or play on various difficulties. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been playing Project DIVA for many years at this point, it's my all-time favourite rhythm game. From PPD (if anyone knows what that is, I salute you lmao), to F and F2nd on an emulator, to Future Tone and X on PS4 and now Mega Mix+ Mega Mix+ was absolutely worth the purchase for me, despite the fact I already had Future Tone on PS4, because of how much easier it is to mod this version of the game. This extends its lifetime by a significant amount; ~170 songs in the base game (or 250 with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →blatant cash grab but still good When i got into project diva, i bought megamix on the switch with all it's DLC for £95, then also bought an entire playstation 3 to be able to play custom charts on the edit mode. when megamix+ launched, it added nothing over the identical games for PS4 and switch, which most of the community already owned, and it is bundled with performance impacting DRM. it feels like sega launched this game on PC purely because they knew the dedicated fans would re-buy it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will never 100% complete this game, skill issue idc. Vocaloid songs permanently ingrained into my brain I will never have a moment of complete silence ever again. It's worse than the PS Vita games and they charge silly amounts for DLC which is not surprising due to how cartoonishly greedy sega is. There is however enough content for me to recommend this game, atleast here on steam. I would never recommend a fkn Miku game to anyone in person no matter how good it was.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll finish every song and modded song for this game before retirement. Mark my words
