As someone who owns Hidden Through Time and Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, I was really excited to play this one! I loved the previous versions a lot, but this one felt rushed and sloppy by comparison. Object placements: Sloppy. Too many items are placed carelessly, with objects just floating mid-air when they're supposed to be "held" in a character's hand. The graphics glitch so much that it's actually …

Buy Myths and Magic Instead. Honestly, I'm not sure why Hidden Through Time 2 is not one game with DLC. They released the two as separate games which prevents you from combining assets when building your own levels. This one felt much more rushed and has less play time than Myths and Magic. I really suspect this was rushed.

A complete downgrade from the original Hidden Through Time in every single way. I very much wanted to like this game and although I did not enjoy the sequel, I wanted to give this... DLC that's not a DLC...? A chance. After completing 4 or 5 maps in less than 20 minutes, AND experiencing annoying visual bugs, I have to say I cannot recommend this to anyone. The difficulty of the developer made maps is absurdly easy. Something that wasn't true for the original game. Unless you are a literal…

I own and have played the two previous Hidden Through Time games and loved them, the first one I feel being the best. This one felt underwhelming, lacking content, and there are lots of issues with play in the game that do not appear to have been resolved. Like some others have said in reviews, feels more like a DLC for HTT2, I can only guess that it is because there is a slightly different mechanism to it, like items removed from list when found, so it was a completely new game but not HTT3…

More of the same hidden object goodness with clear themes taking us to Victorian England, into the future, and using our skills as a detective. If you've played any of the other games in the series, then nothing much has changed game play wise, apart from the themes, which takes us to different places with different characters and sets. The different themes and areas to visit are what makes each installment stand out from each other, providing lots of entertainment and humour behind those…

I liked the game series before I didn't. Incredible CPU hog. Be mindful of data sharing/privacy when playing the game. Read those pesky EULAs and related agreements... This make me wonder if this data harvesting is what causes the CPU spike while in-game.

I loved the first game, so I was excited for the second. But the experience I have had is that it is a buggy mess. It constantly desynchs from where your mouse is clicking. With the different weather/ time of day additions if you swap the weather you have to go through and undo building or open items you've searched through, or it won't always show you the new objects. I honestly want to love the game but it is incredibly frustrating for me to play.

Wasted potential. Some levels are just stupid sparse. They are waiting for the "community" to fill in the holes with levels. I say, you failed. Same engine, sloppy levels with very little to find, and the demand for modders to fill in the hole. I will not be buying any more of your games. This should have been DLC.

I enjoyed playing it a lot! Also love the architect part. Lost track of time while playing it. But it has a few bugs unfortunately. For example, if you change the weather during the building of your own map, all of the parts suddenly change position. And when I was ready to upload my map, the game got stuck on loading a few times. Also: i would love to know how to delete an item if you use a xbox controller, because it says i have to use the + button (switch button?) but i don't have that one.…

Nice little DLC for the second Hidden Through Time game. If you enjoyed things like iSpy books or Spooky Mansion, this may be for you! I have played a lot of games where you need to spot the hidden objects and this is the only series that has ever successfully pulled it off. This may have been a pretty short DLC, but I enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes it took me an embarrassing amount of time to find some objects. However, the chill atmosphere and story made even that enjoyable. They have…

This is fun, like the others. I don't even miss that there's no hint button for that aggravating time you can't find anything. BUT I do not like that in this Hidden Through.... game, unlike the ones before it, when you find something, the picture below disappears - along with the clue - sometimes after finding something, I like to then see the clue. But I can't do that now, since the inventory items disappears upon finding. Some folks may like this feature - could keeping the inventory…

I gave Hidden Through Time 2: Myths and Magic a thumbs down because I felt it added nothing meaningful to the original Hidden Through Time, which already had online user-created content. Myths and Magic also had wide fluctuations in puzzle quality, leading to an unsatisfactory experience as a whole. I'm happy to say that Discovery is a more consistent and straightforward entry in the series. It's also easier and shorter: I completed it in half the time as Myths and Magic. But that's actually a…

If I could I'd give this game a "mixed", to me the music and the voice over is pretty annoying, building open-close mechanism is frustrating (especially when rooms overlap), lots of reused assets from previous version. Not my cup of tee. Also not sure what takes 5 seconds to load the main menu / map 😂

Despite being the latest entry in the series, this one was actually a disapointment. The campaign wasn't as well put together in terms of story, and a lot of the scenes were put together a little lazily, with plenty of spaces obscured by assets that should have been hidden when viewing interiors. The use of features developed in earlier entries in the series was poorly done, with things like the weather/time of day changes only being used on a handful of maps, and without an easy way to see…

More of the same from this series. Find various objects in three different settings (Noir, Victorian (with undead) and Sci-fi) on a more or less cluttered map, The clues for each object are pretty good for the most part and gives you a good idea, where to look. Casual, but enjoyable for a couple of hours. The one major gripe I have is with the achievements for the user made maps. A couple of the achievements are focused around playing and rating user made levels positively and on paper that…

I don't really have much else to say besides what I said in HTT2:M&M review: I liked the mechanical and audiovisual updates in HTT2, and I'm kind of puzzled why Discovery is a separate title rather than a DLC, and I don't get why the game had to be split in two separate games that are both titled HTT2. Enjoyable hidden object game. There are several levels that have levels within that level. There are pictures at the bottom in small boxes that gives you the picture of what you are looking for. Some of the pictures need to be changed to night/day and raining/clear. This isn't a really quick hidden object game but I enjoyed every moment that I played it. Very relaxing. Some of the hidden picture games have replay value but this one really doesn't. It is worth picking up.

A hidden-object diorama game finally given story connective tissue, following a detective's corgi case through 1930s America, a gothic Victorian manhunt and an astronaut's first-contact mission across three eras.
