What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 14 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (53 of 77 positive).
Players praise the pixel art and music but criticize the controls and difficulty. [1][2][3] Some find the game unfair due to unresponsive controls and trial-and-error gameplay. [4][5][6] A few reviewers allege the game is a template flip with poor design. [7]

Decent pixel graphics, okay (but very repetitive) music. Gibberish story, badly translated. The worst though are the controls. You need pixel-perfect jumping--across three characters simultaneously, and this works horribly. There's no skill involved, it's trial and error...and error...and error, and most of the deaths aren't a matter of skill or timing, it's just unfair.

Hunter Girls is a "template" flip. The "developer" filled out a basic template in the craptastic NW.js (possibly Construct) (a blight on gaming), changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and put it on Steam as if it was their own game. It's a basic, lame endless runner template this time, with crappy asset flipped backgrounds and sprites. Pure garbage in terms of actually being a game. Flappy Birds is more …

A game-runner with pixel graphics in which we have to play as each of the three wonderful girls who go in search of her lover, a prince named Alex. All that is required of us is a timely jump over obstacles and skillfully dodge the attacks of a variety of enemies. Taking into account that all our battles with enemies will take place in motion, we have to quickly and competently press the keys and without the …

Nice art and graphics, good music, but it is very annoying when on each try it starts from the beginning (this is really demotivating). Difficulty is really insane and controls aren't responsive for such crazy difficulty. Also cannot change controls, at the moment the game is a good way to break the spacebar button on your keyboard. This is strange, but sometimes have some fps drop why? The graphics is so …

Nice concept, you constantly run and have to jump and shoot at the right time. I like the pixel-art style. Unfortunately I found it quite difficult. With some adjustments could be a great game. The price is fair.

Players who liked Hunter Girls talk about nice pixel art and graphics; those who didn't talk about controls are unresponsive and janky. Which matters more to you?

I cover a wide range of genres both paid and unpaid, providing unbiased opinions as well as regular giveaway events. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ ☑️Good pixel artstyle. ❌Controls are janky. ❌Music will drive you crazy after each restart. ❌No level select. ❌Dialog is very poorly displayed as walls of text. It's challenging strategy that is ruined by the game play controls of Flappy Bird /…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommendation: a tough but fair endless runner that requires excellent timing and careful resource management. Critique: Hunter Girls is a bare-bones endless runner, but there is some fun underneath its very rough surface. The game consists of garbled text laid over simple monochromatic line drawings that provide (a little bit of) context for what is happening, which are then followed by multiple "levels" of endless running, where you have to simply NOT DIE. I put "levels" in quotation marks…

But like... first character oh me have shield so I press c to block little do I know the screw icon is it's health lets also mention the longer you hold up the shield the more it's Health goes down so you can be sitting there trying to practice how it works and boom instantly dead like what? Also she has a sword WHY NOT BLOODY SWING IT? Because if you touch mob... You die. I figured out how to do the first level just jump…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great, reminded of platformers on Nintendo. It's rare when a platformer has a plot, but here it's interesting. I advise everyone
