I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND that it's not because I don't want to hang out but because the world is ugly enough as it is and I need positivity and whimsy. Not more sadness and anxiety.

neutral · AI labelView post →I somehow missed that this had been announced. The Rachel Weisz set includes the little-seen, and quite compelling, 1998 Michael Winterbottom film I WANT YOU, for which I provided an audio commentary.

neutral · AI labelView post →Everyone talked about how the Sonic 3 movie featured an old Japanese cover of "I Want You Back" by Folder, but that movie was clearly just making a giant reference to 90s Microman's second ED theme!
neutral · AI labelView post →You could stop at "Nolan is making films" The absolute bottom level of discourse has always been "YOU DIDN'T ADAPT THE SOURCE MATERIAL THE WAY I WANT YOU TO!" Yeah. It's a movie. That's not typically the point.
neutral · AI labelView post →I don't usually kinkshame, but wanting fictional characters to look directly at the camera before the movie starts and say I WANT YOU TO WATCH MY SEX SCENES; I LIKE IT is quite the convoluted kink. 🤪
