Let’s be clear: when Ubisoft unveiled this game, many turned up their noses, calling it just another clone of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with a coat of Greek paint. This one completely caught me off guard. I expected yet another Ubisoft map-checking simulator... you know, climb towers, clear icons, rinse and repeat. I absolutely loved the base game. It looks beautiful, the challenges are a lot of fun, and the combat feels smooth and rewarding. The variety of mechanics kept everything interesting, and between exploring the massive map, doing side activities, and collecting items, there are easily hours of content to enjoy. However, the DLC felt like a total waste of time. It lacks the charm of the main game, and the challenges …

In general Fenyx is not that bad. Levels look pretty, overall design is good, the progression system is ok-ish (well, it's typical to games of this genre), but I cannot say that the game is good. 1. It is simply BORING. There are big pretty locations, but absolutely no motivation to explore them. I mean, yeah, there are chest, riddles, etc there, but most of these places exist just for the sake of putting a chest there. And there are way too many of these (chest and riddles) which exist just…

Game is great fun, but ubisoft connect is utter garbage. Constant notifications popping up even though I have EVERYTHING turned off on it. You can't play the game without ubisoft connect running. It really ruins immersion when you're getting bombarded with ubisoft connect covering the lower 1/8 of your screen constantly. You can turn off the in game overlay, but it doesn't care and still pops up. Controls are also pretty bad for M+KB. They don't have to be, but ubisoft doesn't care so…

I'm playing an Ubisoft game right now; if a game is cheap enough on Steam I don't care who the publisher is. So I got Immortals Fenyx Rising in exchange for dirt. It bears all the signs of a great creative team getting fucked over by exactly the sort of idiot who runs his mouth like *that* guy. There's even a demo level, explicitly called such in the game, for the now-cancelled sequel, how sad is that? The control scheme isn't completely ironed out and has some screwy behaviour in niche…

Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a quality game with decent humor, beautiful & colorful visuals and enjoyable (if not particularly deep or original) combat mechanics and a array puzzles ranging from good to mediocre. Tbh this is the type of game I wish was made more often. It's a pretty chill open world popcorn game. The stakes are low, the game doesn't take itself that serious, and it's not the most polished experience. It expects no emotional buy in from the player. You just jump in, run around an open world, follow a few quest markers, and have a good time. It's a very solid 3/5 type of title. I think the game deserves a neutral rating, and since we can't leave a neutral rating, I am making mine negative to balance out the mostly positive. Immortals follows the 3D Zelda formula of Exploration, Puzzles, Platforming and Combat. Older gamers like myself don't need to have played BOTW to understand the formula, because the formula has not changed much since OOT. You explore a large world, can access new areas as your equipment and abilities improve, and follow a loose story progression…

This game feels like a household chore. The puzzles range from boring to mildly annoying. The controls are bad — most of the time they’re just frustrating. It crashes randomly, and because of that I’ve grown to hate the menu music since I have to listen to it every time I restart. To add insult to injury, it checks for additional content every single time — and you can’t skip it. You have to wait through the whole login process and everything. This game really surprised me. I like the art style, the combat is fun, exploration is great. There's so much to do, and it never felt repetitive to me.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Review: A Bright World Dimmed by Ubisoft Flaws Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of those games that sits comfortably in the middle ground — not bad, not amazing, just… fine. It’s a title that clearly borrows heavily from Breath of the Wild, mixes in Greek mythology, and tries to make it all its own. And to its credit, it mostly works — at least when the game itself is working. Let’s start with the good: the gameplay is semi-decent. The combat system feels responsive…

Immortals: Fenyx Rising, so far, is quite gorgeous, plays well, and has nice mechanics. An Ubisoft sandbox game (for better or worse depending on your viewpoint), and definitely it has a VERY corny sense of humor you will either love or hate. #ImmortalsFenyxRising

At first glance, this looks like a kiddie game, but upon playing for a few hours now, I find it to be just challenging enough to keep me interested in actually finishing the game. I've a long way to go, but I enjoy doing the challenges, and the story IS decent, with occasional humor mixed into the dialogue. Currently playing at 3440x1440p Ultra settings and HDR on, the game looks gorgeous. I would recommend buying the game AND season pass, to acquire ALL the DLC. It's well worth your time!

A recycling of Assassin's Creed Odyssey combined with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, wrapped in a tale rooted in Greek mythology, complete with Ubisoft's recurrent mannerisms, yet fundamentally enjoyable. The game boasts a beautiful color palette and a mix of motley environments that make it consistently pleasant to play, though this clashes with its grotesque character designs. Puzzles are a core aspect of the gameplay, providing a generous assortment of activities beyond combat…

Let me start by saying that gender politics shouldn't be apart of a game that is clearly targeting the younger audience. After finishing the main quest for Aphrodite, Zeus and Prometheus talk about her child with Hermes being non binary. Could you kindly F OFF? I tried giving this game a try and at least complete one of the main quests, but it was so hard since it's so bad. The voice actors are annoying as hell and their voices scratch my ears every time Zeus and Prometheus start talking non…

A really simple but cool game. I know Ubisoft gets a lot of flack (deserved), but this is one of those exceptions where you're like "wait this is a Ubisoft game?" Well... until you see that there's a cosmetics shop in a single player game. But other than that, really cool! Definitely get this if you don't feel like spending $580 to play BOTW lol.
