Directed by Sam Liu, Lauren Montgomery
A heroic version of Lex Luthor from an alternate universe appears to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, an evil version of the League. neutral · AI labelView post →every day i pass by the opticians at the end of the road, and i check to see if they still have the 2017 Justice League movie standee there, and yep, sure enough, it always is. they never stopped keeping the faith #UniteTheSeven
neutral · AI labelView post →DC already tried to copy Marvel's formula 10 years ago and they ended up half assing it and culminated into a half baked Justice League movie. I have no problem getting more unique stuff like Lanterns and Clayface if it means getting something in the future that's competently made
neutral · AI labelView post →What’s a poster you had in your room growing up? I would stare at this poster for hours fantasizing about a Justice League movie. Who knows? Maybe one day they'll make one. 🤷♂️

neutral · AI labelView post →Also, if you've seen the deleted scenes...I will never get over just HOW MUCH they changed/added to the movie at the last minute. The ENTIRE climactic outer space sequence was added in reshoots. That's some fucking Justice League Whedon Cut shit, only more entertaining.
positive · AI labelView post →Fun fact Penny Lane was in the Justice League movie
neutral · AI labelView post →Watching the interview and looking back on the history of how he became Batman, the low point seems to be a result of everything going wrong and not having the power to fix it. Affleck only took on the role after being convinced by Snyder (after Daredevil he was reluctant to take on a superhero role again). Batman v Superman was rocky, but a future solo film was planned. Then Justice League happened. Massive studio interference. Snyder had to step away and lost the film. His costars had issues…
neutral · AI labelView post →no I am pretty sure that it would have been. Did you see his Justice League movie, aka Leni Riefenstahl’s Super Friends
negative · AI labelView post →Honest take: I skimmed some of your comment. And I see where you are going. I expected a bit different conclusion - like an exceptional children's show needs to be great for adults also. One of my perfect example is Up. I took my lil sister to it and oh boy ... did we watch two different movies! Btw the Justice League was really good teenage aimed show. And a lot of classic CN shows can be enjoyed with all age brackets. Nickelodeon wasn't that successful in this regard - their shows…
neutral · AI labelView post →I'm saying Batman Beyond because I wanted way more than just 3 seasons and a movie. Warner Bros. decided to put attention and money towards the animated Justice League show which was also great, but. At least 3 more seasons of Batman Beyond first. >:[
neutral · AI labelView post →I forgot to complain about this ... reminds me of the Justice League movie where they have Alfred calling Bruce "Master Wayne." come on guys
neutral · AI labelView post →I’m in my Justice League animated movie era about to start the Aquaman movie & I always felt like Aquaman was useless af , let me see what he can do
neutral · AI labelView post →If I may, I'd like to recommend the animated movie [*Justice League: War* (2014)](https://imdb.com/title/tt3060952). It's basically a shorter version of JL17 and ZSJL, all three films are adapted from the same [comic](https://www.dc.com/graphic-novels/justice-league-2011/justice-league-vol-1-origin). Of the three, this is the best.
neutral · AI labelView post →1. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths is a meh movie but what a weird cast they worked with. James Woods as Owlman works, though. Mark Harmon as Superman, not so much.
neutral · AI labelView post →This film is cursed. Feels as if Matt Reeves is dealing with something as tragic as Zack Snyder was during Justice League but they can’t replace him because they know what a mess Justice League became. deadline.com/2026/10/the-...
neutral · AI labelView post →Justice League movie vs Superman movie. The universe got rebooted in between seasons and kinda the only things they kept was the two James Gunn projects.
neutral · AI labelView post →They could have cancelled it. They could have delayed it. They've got one of the BEST directors working today to help finish the film. It's not going to be a Justice League style situation.
neutral · AI labelView post →Seems like there is some kind of intense personal situation holding up The Batman Part 2 and tbh just delaying is the right way to handle that after what happened with Justice League. That was such a horrible situation, it would be absurd to do that with *another* Batman-featured movie
neutral · AI labelView post →As garbage of a movie as Joss Whedon’s Justice League was, I admit that I have a special fondness for Gary Clark Jr. and Junkie XL’s cover of “Come Together.”
neutral · AI labelView post →While there's LOTS to say about how the Snyderverse played out I will defend to the death the beginning od Batman v Superman. The scene with Bruce Wayne trying to get through Metropolis to save his people as the Superman/Zod fight is destroying the City did a fantastic job establishing Bruce's distruct and fear of Superman. Then the rest of the movie happened... I think they could have done great things with the DCEU if they hadn't tried to rush into Justice League so quickly. The first…

neutral · AI labelView post →My 11YO wants to see this Justice League movie and I agree: - Superman (Cornswet) - Batman (Bale) - Wonder Woman (Gadot) - Flash (Gustin) - Green Lantern (Pierre) - Martian Manhunter (Morris) - Blue Beetle (Mariduena) - Hawkgirl (Merced) - Mr Terrific (Gathegi)
neutral · AI labelView post →I'm re-reading Walter Chaw's review of Zack Snyder's Justice League. It's probably one of the best movie reviews I've ever read, y'all. Really good. #FrightClub #DreamEater
neutral · AI labelView post →John‘s been a favourite Green Lantern ever since I first saw Justice League (the DCAU series) and my favourite look has to be the one from the 2022 animated movie “Beware My Power” is honestly a good look for him. Although he doesn’t wear it for the whole film, The coat works REALLY well for John
neutral · AI labelView post →Re: Fade to Black I feel like if this movie were made today, the killer Eric would have had a Letterboxd, probably has Pulp Fiction as among his favorite movies or Kill Bill and probably has harassed people over anyone not liking the Snyder Cut of Justice League.
neutral · AI labelView post →“Much has been made, and rightfully so, about the ridiculous situation involving Justice League, Henry Cavill, and his now very infamous mustache. The actor had grown the impressive lip hair for Mission: Impossible - Fallout and, whilst filming was happening on that movie, Warner Bros. needed him
neutral · AI labelView post →Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths This one's going on the thread so it's not the JL animated movie to make me the most mad this year. Not bad, the fight choreography was pretty fun, but I just don't think I mesh with the general style of these annoying isolated DC animated movies.
neutral · AI labelView post →I was just about to start watching this. I am not a DCU fan, but I have a *lot* of nostalgia over *Justice League Unlimited* John Stewart, so this seems up my alley. Polarized reviews on IMDB gave me some pause, but going by comments here, it seems worth a try at least.
neutral · AI labelView post →Well James Gunn has said he’s really attracted to doing a Justice League Movie about Salvation Run (Peacemaker ended with Chris on the Salvation Run planet) and Sinestro would be a better foil for Lex then the Joker anyway, and Ulrich Thomsen got a lot good buzz as Sinestro. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the focus of a season 2.
neutral · AI labelView post →As a Green lantern fan (read Blackest Night as a lil' imp, liked the LA movie, liked the Animated Show, Liked GL from the Justice League cartoon, etc) I find it hilarious how unrepentantly touristy some of the takes from the new show are. These people would not have survived Razor's lantern oath...
neutral · AI labelView post →I'll never forgive the powers that be at Warner Brothers that turned down Guillermo Del Toro when he wrote and wanted to direct a Justice League Dark film. An Oscar winning fanboy writes a film as a love letter to classic characters he grew up with for others like him to enjoy and they rejected it.
neutral · AI labelView post →I’m not going to be rewatching every DCEU film during my journey through the DCEU, but I will be this one and it’s sequel. Only because it has been so long since I’ve seen them, and I would like a refresher before Justice League. This is what I’m watching tonight. #IrasPhysicalMedia #19

neutral · AI labelView post →Zack Snyder is once again trying to beat the Fascist allegations but 1) this keeps happening 2) his dream project is a film adaptation of Ayn Rand’s the Fountainhead 3) the “Snyder Cut” of the Justice League was astroturf by bots, trolls, and the worst people alive.
neutral · AI labelView post →Gunn’s DC so far has produced Hawkgirl, whose design completely ignores the male gaze - and Supergirl, who gets the depth normally reserved for the male heroes. I agree with you about the Whedon vs Snyder Justice League but neither film was actually good, imho, or has anything to do with Gunn
neutral · AI labelView post →During Countdown (2007) it is the Crime /Society/. They were called Crime Lodge in JLA: Earth-2, no idea why it changed. Jokester debuted here and Jester in the film Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (Which is loosely based on JLA: Earth-2) is based on that version. It is confusing!
neutral · AI labelView post →When I kept posting that there was no finished Justice League Snyder Cut, a lot of Snyder cultists dogpiled me, insisted the film was completely finished & ready to be released. When the Snyder Cut eventually got made... it took $70 Million to finish.
neutral · AI labelView post →It isn't too odd when you think about it, Alan Moor and I both read 1984 which places a good bit of focus on propaganda and methods of control. Makes sense that two people pulling from the same source will come to similar conclusions, even if Moor was writing on the aftermath of an isolationist fascistic regime while I'm planning on how to blow the kneecaps out of one before it becomes fully entrenched. Also I have only consumed V for Vendetta comic break downs but I have listened to an…
neutral · AI labelView post →Justice League (2017)- 4.5/10 A genuinely confusing movie that constantly feels like you missed a lot of context that throws you bunch of characters, gives you almost no reason for you to care about and genuinely feels rushed as possible.
neutral · AI labelView post →These all sounds great but how are we getting a Titans movie before a Justice League movie? Are they going to gut the Titans & have them not have any Justice League mentors or inspiration? That would be a hard "no" from me.
neutral · AI labelView post →I'm sorry man, but like, a proper DC Movie Universe would go in filmic order: Superman Batman Wonder-Woman The Flash Green Lantern Justice League One movie every summer, like clockwork. I have enjoyed some of the James Gunn stuff but it's just a random chexmix of stuff.

neutral · AI labelView post →I'm well aware it's not technically "comic accurate," but I really don't see the harm in taking a different approach to the material. I think a more grounded, character-driven Lantern series was a cool idea, and we'll probably get more comic-accurate GL stuff in the next Justice League movie anyway

neutral · AI labelView post →I just hope this doesn’t turn into another Justice League situation where Matt is replaced by a new director while he’s away and The Batman II is transformed into a completely different movie in the process before the new director is revealed to be a big piece of shit.

Also any scene from Dragon Ball Z of Majin Bu force feeding himself to someone. Now I’m a masochist, a size queen, and a monsterfucker with a thing for shapeshifters.
neutral · AI labelView post →Hopefully Skydance doesn’t just replace Matt with someone else while he’s away and The Batman II is turned into a completely different film like what happened with Justice League.
neutral · AI labelView post →Hard to believe Miller spent most of the 2000’s stuck between projects that didn’t get off the ground (like Mad Max: Fury Road and a Justice League movie), and stuff that did, like the HAPPY FEET movies. #FlicksForAll
neutral · AI labelView post →I haven't found many director's cuts I've liked, TBH. Blade runner. Meh (Harrison Ford's voice over narration actually works). LOTR: many more scenes of hobbits running. Justice League: never make a bad movie longer. The Abyss, Aliens: just more not better. They're fine fan service I guess but meh.
neutral · AI labelView post →It feels like a great standalone but also very much a springboard towards a Justice League movie that doesn't suck. We're two movies and a TV show into this new Genesis of DC and I think it's working overall.
neutral · AI labelView post →Stewart became my favorite Lantern when I first saw him in the Justice League Cartoon. Waited years for a show or movie to feature him since then. I'd later learn he lead the blaxploitation comics revolution that featured heroes like Blade, Luke Cage, and Storm in 1971.
