The quintessential meh. Can't find a better word to describe this game then "meh", but I can only say it in retrospect. While playing, the game IS entertaining, and it's clear this is the work of a decent developer, everything works fine. All that working together in coop and the final boss is a forced solo instance play. What was even the point of getting everyone to coop.

It's like Terraria, without the crazy amount of weapons, cool items, monsters, bosses and charm that keeps it fun for 100+ hours. It's like Rimworld, without the depth and story telling that make it fun for 100+ hours. It's like a lot of games from different genres mashed together, but without any of the charm, depth or uniqueness that made those games fun. Killer soundtrack though.

Keplerth has a satisfying mix of survival, crafting, and exploration, one that I personally enjoy. I will note that colony management does seem a bit simple, but for how the game operates I don't personally see that as much of an issue, hopefully it gets expanded on. Genetic Modifications for me do hit that sweet spot constantly allowing you to make a diverse build as you continue to explore. I do recommend Keplerth if you have a few friends and you are looking for a game to play assuming…

Originally, I had a very very high review of this game, but it does have a game breaking bug. Sometimes all the map and objects will permanently dissapear and there is no way to fix it. I looked up on the forums and found others with this issue but no solutions. I will happily change to a positive review if this gets patched.

Review after 100 hours For a title I got on sale a long time back, it is a good game. It is on sale again now for 25%. For around 11$ you will get the random worlds generated with the chosen difficulties, multiple player save slots, a slightly challenging end game and a lot of farming and material gathering. After exploring and base building and deciding what it is you want to focus on and not bother with. You have a slight materials grind near the end even with saving up a lot of things from…

7.5/10 Without much spoiler; The gameplay is super fun and addictive, the way u learn new perks is quite unique and I really liked it. Creating replicas from genes was super exciting too. U can have pets, mounts, special skills, traps against bosses whatever u would want in a game like this. But the reasons I dont recommend, is because of bugs and lack of QoL Opening chests, and using crafting stations is horrible. U have to stay in perfect range from it, on the perfect pixel, to be able to…

It's just not quite 'fun' enough. It's like Rimworld except you control your character directly. It never quite nails the gameplay loop. Secrets are too far away, the narrative is too obscure, the combat is a little too boring, the mechanics are a little too complicated and the characters move a little slow (even the elf). It's got all the right mechanics of a good crafting game but doesn't quite nail the loop. I would recommend it for people who are desperate for more crafting games…

It's one of those games that you enjoy playing but there are so many timy issues that you end up saying "meh" and switch to something else. Why is there no way to expand my inventory except for having a lot of chests to the point where I start forgeting where I put what exactly (many items are used as cooking and crafting materials)? Why is the "dump to chest" radius so small? Why can't we craft from chests if they are our main inventory dump? After dumping everything to chests I have to fill…

The devs take way too long for updates, it really does feel as if we're just being strung along by them and they don't really have any plans to finish the game. Maybe one day I'll be proven wrong, but it definitely won't anytime soon, so I cannot recommend getting this game until actual content updates become more consistent.

It's a pretty fun game, honestly. The art style looks like Rimworld with the pawns but it plays more like a top-down survival craft game instead of a colony story simulator. There are a few minor grammatical errors but they don't affect how playable the game is. The game caters to multiple play-styles and has a unique skill system. You can entirely ignore some of the content if you feel like it's not for you, but you have to progress more and more down the main story to get "better" items.…

I think the game is overall okay. The gameplay loop is extremely basic, and the one gimmick it has (leveling through picking up dead enemies remains) is fun but most never really have a big impact on gameplay. You have camp-building mechanics, but the options are fairly limited and there isn't any clear rewards to do so. No automations of harvesting, ranching, etc, so you're still doing all the bloody work. Overall the game kinda feels undercooked, potential to be great but never quite reaching…

TL;DR If a dungeon-crawling, procedurally generated, and multi-layered underground world interests you, give Keplerth a try. Keplerth is a strange game. It's a mixture of survival crafting and ARPG. The RPG elements are pretty light, but it is a dungeon crawler with progression. The first portion of the game is spent wandering around on the surface and collecting materials to build your base, craft items, and find other settlements. There has to be some sense of progression, some sense of lore, and some wacky bings and pings of finding loot. Why is that important, just because. it is. I find this fun but I like grinding resources. You fight a lot, loot a lot, explore a lot and can grow crops, trees, shrooms or berries. Go fishing or tend your farm animals, chase down the loot guy who runs away from you. Don't forget to fight the bosses and go down the mine. Go on, give it a try, you may like it as much as I do!
