Cute LEGO game with amazing visuals. The gameplay is simple, but fun. I love the Horizon games, so it was great to play this simplified kiddie-retelling of Zero Dawn. This is the perfect game to play between longer games. A cute and funny experience that you can get done over a weekend. Buy it in a sale and have fun. Technically the game is a real stunner. I see all the bad reviews and get it - it is a very straightforward game, not open world and not filled with secrets . Which is fine for me, not every game needs to be played for 50h+ hours. The story is funny and overall it is a nice game to play co-op with non gamers, your niece etc.. For a Lego game, it is very pretty. Get it on sale and have a laugh at the characters (where the voice actors had fun along the …

57% of the 185 Steam reviewers we collected recommend LEGO® Horizon Adventures™. The complaint that keeps coming up: too expensive for the amount of content. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

Critics, per Wikipedia

Lego Horizon Adventures received "mixed or average" reception according to the review aggregator website Metacritic, while 54% of critics recommended the game according to OpenCritic. The visual presentation was praised as the game's strongest asset. Critics appreciated the environmental design. The cast's vocal performances were well received. Reviewers felt that the light-hearted tone allowed the returning actors to experiment with their characters, with reviewers observing that Ashly Burch's energetic portrayal of Aloy provided a welcome contrast to her more serious performances in the mainline games. The adaptation of Zero Dawn's narrative garnered a divided response. Several reviewers…

Pros: Beautiful lego diorama sort of experience, beautiful graphics Cons: -Rampant reuse of assets throughout the game -Destroyable lego items are over simplified aftertought -Nothing like previous lego games, clearly Sony has erased years of development forged by TT Games and WB games in favor for a simplified, mobile game-esque "engine".

100% completed in 17.2 hours. I’m not saying it’s one of the worst games I’ve ever played, but it’s bad. I didn’t enjoy playing it, but I did it anyway because it’s another PlayStation title with a platinum. Any “LEGO” game not made by TT Games just doesn’t feel like a real LEGO game, and this one proves it. It’s a LEGO game where you can’t break everything — like playing Minecraft in Adventure Mode. The combat is clunky until you adjust, and once the story ends, all that’s left is repetitive…

A shameless cash grab. Plot can be beaten in one sitting, yet the game costs more than AAA, 80h+ productions. Got it on 50% sale on Steam; still feels like I overpaid a lot. After beating the main story, the rest is just a boring grind for experience and money for 100% completion. Also, not really a LEGO game. Don't buy even if discounted.

I think my gripe is that i was expecting a Horizon game but with Lego visuals. I think i may have made the mistake that it's a Lego Adventures game with Lego Horizon graphics. The 'missions' are extremely similar regardless of progress so it's basically one level, rinse and repeat throughout the game. Was a massive disappointment for me unfortunately but hey ho we live and learn, but again i think this was my mistake upon purchasing it, I won't be asking for a refund.

As someone who has played and loved LEGO games for years – and is also a huge fan of Horizon – I went into this game with really high expectations. Unfortunately, it was a massive disappointment. The biggest issue is that it doesn’t feel like a LEGO game at all. It feels like the developers wanted to cash in on the Horizon name rather than create something fun and unique. Instead of the usual charm, humour, and creative gameplay that LEGO games are known for, this felt plain, empty, and…

This game definitely feels like it was initially supposed to be a mobile game for ipad kids, but some higher-ups said they want a AAA priced game instead of free-to-play with microtransactions, so the game was already built around those but doesn't have them. The story has been flattened into a toddler's picture book, the humor is insulting and cringe af slapstick, the levels are reusing assets and layouts for like 5 expeditions each time until you can progress to the next biome... level design…

I have played a lot of the Lego games. They are typically a little repetitive and the puzzles aren't the hardest, but you can have fun with your kid while they learn the basics of gaming. This game, on the other hand, is the most dumbed down, repetitive, boring game I have played in a long time. Also, my steamdeck runs almost every other Lego game flawlessly. With this one I get dips down to 10fps. Absolutely incredible that anyone would play this and say "that was well worth the $50-60 I…

Okay, so, I've managed to 100% the game in around 25 hours. Here's my verdict: This game is not worth 59.99$ or even 69.99$ for the deluxe version. Overall, it is a classic Lego take on the story of Horizon: Zero Dawn. While there are a few random elements from Horizon: Forbidden West, the game is inspired by the first game. As far as story goes, the keyword is inspired. Lego games for popular franchises tend to not follow the actual story and instead take a loose and very comedic approach…

This feels and plays more like a tech demo than an actual game. I can't even finish it because the gameplay and level designs are so bland. You "play" a level by simply walking from point a to point b, maybe jump up a few small ledges or over a gap as needed, do that for several screens, then fight a few bad guys, then fight a few machines that change depending on the level, and that's all you do. LEGO Horizon Adventures sounds, at first, like a weird idea. A LEGO videogame adapting an already existing videogame franchise? However, I'd say it works surprisingly well, and makes me wish for more LEGO retellings of popular videogame franchises. Anyway, what's LEGO Horizon Adventures like? It's a rather loose retelling of Horizon Zero Dawn's story, focusing mostly on the Nora tribe and the conflict against Eclipse. The world is built entirely of LEGO bricks - everything is LEGO. With raytraced lighting and reflections the visuals are very life-like.…

This is the newest lego game. But the gameplay feels old. Cut scenes quality are meh. Every stage is divvied up into small sections so there is A LOT of loading, constantly. Do NOT recommend

played it for a bit to see if it was like the original game at all and it is very different, i for one did not like it. the play style is very clunky unlike some of the other lego games that have come out recently

EDIT: Game got put onto PS+ for free so I could've just played this entire shambles on there instead, crying my eyes out in absolute shame it's never been more over Fun game that feels like it was downgraded significantly to maintain the same experience across every platform available (thank you switch) In terms of gameplay it's a very simple "Hit the NATO Helmet to deal extra damage" with 4 different variants of being able to do damage (Bow, Spear with penetration, Bombs and a Hammer) Can't…

This game is nothing like other lego games in a bad way, the gameplay is bland and there isnt that completionist vibe

Repetitive and grindy at times and somewhat linear in its limited explorations before arriving at the next in a series of environmental arenas where you get to fight robot dinosaurs with a variety of characters from the game, each with their own specialty and upgrade path. Not as good as other LEGO games and not even the same design or concept really. Amazing visuals, great music, and good voice acting if not overly childish, even for a LEGO game. Co-op game option is a nice feature that…

We all know the tragedy of Tt games. Unfortunately, that is "a Lego Game" to whoever played any Lego game after Lego Star Wars. Even with all its flaws, The Skywalker Saga is a decent game, I played 160+ hrs to get that 100%. With this background, I can only recommend Lego Horizon if you are a big fan of Legos, not "Lego Games", not "Horizon Games", just anything with a Lego skin and extra point if you have a friend who is like you and don't have any other coop game. If you're reading this,…
