This game feels like a bad desktop to VR port. When you start the game, you get five slow pop-ups explaining who made the game and what it was made with. If you go into the settings, you can’t turn off the vignette, and it makes me even more motion sick than without it. It also doesn’t feel like a normal vignette, but more like half your screen is cut off so you can see less. You don’t have an option for smooth …

I've been a fan of the Little Nightmares games for a long time, and it's safe to say they're my favorite game series that I go to often for comfort. I love the atmosphere from these games, and I was thrilled to find that a VR game would get to allow myself to be fully immersed in this fascinating world! This is a VR game that doesn’t have an option to change or disable the vignette, and there’s no smooth turning. It’s hard to fully enjoy the game when a vignette covers more than 70% of your view the entire time. From what I played, the gameplay itself is good, but the lack of VR movement settings is a big turn-off for me. EDIT*** They have fixed most of these problems. It's worth picking up now.

Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my full review here: https://youtu.be/5tBEciyU9kA Well, it was bound to happen. You guys know we usually get the low-effort ports to PCVR. VR devs nowadays make games for stand-alone Meta Quest. Then they drop it on the Steam VR store with little work done to take advantage of the power of PCVR and expect us to buy it and like it. This game is good. Except it has many issues which PCVR veterans are un-willing to overlook. You already heard about…

The game had potential, but not this time. The game feels outdated for VR. There's no body (it doesn't really matter), hands disappear when you grab an object, and the hands have no physics(collision), but the body does. People complain about the forced vignette and the lack of smooth rotation, I personally don't care, but these are basic VR features and can't be configured. The physics are terrible, all objects are stuck to the floor. Portable graphics. It feels like the assets from previous…

I'm giving this game a completely fair review as someone who understands the series deeply. for starters, the gameplay is generally better than the gameplay in little nightmares 3, and at times has more depth than any mainline game. the stealth has open areas with many hiding spots, and it's very likely you'll be seen and have the ability to escape. stealth also has a big focus, the big 3 chapters have stealth as its core gameplay loop, ending things with a chase to break tension, just like…

Reviewed this game for UploadVR. I sincerely hope the decision to not allow disabling the vignette or adding smooth turning is changed later. Even for the sake of motion sickness, you can leave those as the default settings and allow players a choice. A real shame. That aside, I thought this was terrific. About the right length for a LN game and nails all the atmosphere and sound design these games are great for. YMMV, but I thought this was terrific.

I absolutely love the Little Nightmares franchise, yes even the third game. And I do love this game as well, in every aspect besides gameplay this is a 7/10 Little Nightmares experience. I have some small complaints but they mainly have to deal with the fact that this is a VR title, some awful lag, simplified mechanics and odd visuals are basically expected. However what is NOT expected and has me unfortunately not be able to recommend this title is LITERALLY one main feature present…

A little janky, and there is no smooth turning. Did I get through it in 2 and a half hours? Yes. Did it get the atmosphere of Little Nightmare correct? CAPITAL **Y E S** I'll have to think about lore implications, I will say I LOVED the big photo man boss. The train guy I ended up finding more "cute" than anything else. Each section with every boss does feel a little slow, and I managed to finish the game with 6% left in my battery. It actually has more than 3 puzzles, unlike Little…

This game is a complete hack job. The only good things about it are the atmosphere and a couple of new locations. But otherwise, it’s a game with poor textures, a dead world (in the worst sense), and - to top it all off - nothing but filler instead of a plot. If you don't play it, you won't be missing out on anything. I just want to remind you that Bandai Namco has a lot of money and they just want to release trash game to collect money from funs...

Its not bad... its just not something that's exactly a marvel either. As someone who loves 1 and 2, it's deeply saddening to see the series just stray further and further from the original idea after Tarsier left. Lore aspects? Literally all over the place, makes absolutely no sense. There was no depth to this game, nothing that hit. Kinda just feels low effort as an actual contribution to the series, like they just threw Six's shadow in to spark interest, but then nothing in the game gives any…

For fans of the first two Little Nightmares games, this was a rather fun entry. The game takes place during the events of Little Nightmares II and gives us a deeper dive into one of the story elements within. By no means does the game reinvent the wheel or really add anything new gameplay wise, but it's rather interesting to see how the gameplay mechanics of Little Nightmares translates to VR, and quite enjoyable.

The idea is great, the actual game is alright. First up I didn't mind the hood being on as it added to the immersion but thankfully the game has been updated so you can turn that off if it annoys you. The only section I found of the game to be scary was the schoolteacher, that actually kicked the adrenaline into gear. But as the game has no jump, which I'm surprised doesn't seem to annoy people more than your character wearing a hood, the gameplay is simplified af. It's also very short.…

Yeah this hits the spot. Now don't get me wrong, this has some "flaws" in quotes because I don't agree per say, but I think it's fair that some players don't want to see the hood on the edges of their view, i personally don't mind it, i think it's a fun addition. But aside from the complaints that you can see in the other reviews and in the discussions, I will say this with my chest: give this team control over the IP going forward. If you're a fan of the franchise and were worried about having to buy an expensive (not so expensive) headset, you can relax, this is a hack job, the game looks more like a cheap mobile mod: the VR-lenses require much higher quality graphics and detail than you see in the screenshots - the entire image is jagged, the light beams are literally square, and even the signature purple-glowing doors won't let you immerse yourself in the atmosphere with such a budget design, and even these very doors…

Just finished the game, and wow. I loved it! Admittedly, you can tell the game was made to run on ancient hardware, and it does let the game down in places, but overall an amazing experience. I got genuinely unsettled in spots, so good job there. Not quite what I had hoped, but I was wanting a Little Nightmares VR game for years now, and this was not a disappointment. I didn't make it 5 minutes before getting a headache. For a VR game in 2026 it's missing a lot of features, no smooth rotation is a huge one, snap is bad enough as is but I saw no snap degree adjustment. The lighting in the opening left a lot to be desired and it is upsetting we got this instead of the LN 3 DLC in a timely manner. I've loved the series for a long time and wanted to give this a chance but it's lacking in so many areas and speedrunning a headache isn't on my wishlist.

to be honest I had doubts about this game after LN3 cause it wasn't great but this one exceeded my expectation it ties in with the 1st and 2nd game story. My only downside with it is 1. No death animations 2. Chases CAN get boring when you get used to it but the first time you get chased it's terrifying. Played for an hour and then I lost intrest during the first "dont get spotted" section. You play as shadow six and the actions you take in the game feels like all the effort you go through is for nothing. The gameplay is slow and boring and use the same characters from the sequel to reel you in "remember the scary teacher" "remember the tall man" its all nostalgia bait and its not worth my time.

This game is good, but I beat it in 3 hours. If you like LN 1 & 2, I'd recommend it but not before the aformentioned games played with UEVR. Altered Echoes annoyed me in the beginning with the many random purple doors, but it got better after that. This game may lack polish, but I respect it for attempting to faithfully adapt Little Nightmares. While you don't make jumps as you do in the mainline games, there's a fair bit of climbing. Seasoned VR players have every right to be fed up with that, especially when inputs prove finnicky like they are here, though I found it well-paced enough among the other environmental puzzles and physical interactions. This also adapts the cinematic platformer genre by retaining the same trial-and-error…

A great return to form. My main complaint with the third game was that it didn't feel like the first two, and this game nails that feeling the third one was missing. Little Nightmares is a great franchise to have a VR spinoff. My only complaint is the lack of smooth turning and how sections like the conductor hiding halls are a bit long and annoying to get through, but other than that I had a good time playing this game

This is the type of game ive wanted for a LONG time. ever since i got my first vr headset, ive tried playing games to get the feeling little nightmares gave when i was about 5. It may be short but i enjoyed every second. I made sure i didnt see any spoilers i did every puzzle without a guide even when i was stuck which provided the best experience. This game means alot to me and if you've liked the game for a long time i reccomend it. 9/10 overall

Fun experience if your a Little Nightmares fan like me, my only complaints are how linear and short it was for the price. Also, it didn't feel too scary, maybe a bit intense at times during the chase segments, but it was still pretty cool to see and feel the scale of the world through the protagonist's eyes.

Another great Little Nightmares entry, this IP is doing greatly in my opinion, everything that comes out of it is amazing, this gives us more insight into the pale city/signal tower while Six was kidnapped by the thin man, the VR experience is very immersive and they really nailed the "being tiny in a giant world" feel, we learn more about Six's character while following the dark version of herself. I really enjoy the residents here although I think more indication about which direction you…

honestly? i think this is a really cool game. it was amazing seeing some notable locations from little nightmares 2 in VR, i think people complaining about the vignette for Six's hood are really over exagerated, as most of the time i didnt even realize it was there. the snap turn does take some time to get used too, but once again its not as bad as people are making it out to be. lore wise this game is....interesting. im excited to see what other people think of its lore relevance and how it…

Overall I liked the game. It's not bad and does do well but it is shorter than the other games. I managed to get almost all collectibles except for one and still hit under 3 hours. New enemies and areas which I liked. Some returning ones and I definitely enjoyed seeing the world from their POV. There's one area I didn't like. It requires you to have a match to see but also need to bring a lever that you need somewhere else. This is the only area they do this so not a big issue overall.…
