Mashed is a vehicular combat racing video game developed by Supersonic Software. The game was originally released in Europe for PlayStation 2, Xbox and Microsoft Windows in June 2004. An updated version with additional features, titled Mashed: Fully Loaded in Europe and Drive to Survive internationally, was released in Europe in March 2005 and in North America in December 2006. Blast from the past. This was the best party game of all time. I remember serious tournaments and trash talking playing this with friends in the 00s. Sometimes I'm weary of revisiting a classic in case it isn't as good as you remember... but this is still awesome! Re-release it for xbox too please!

I don't think someone will create another game like this, i mean the gameplay is so great, you can control the cars perfectly with some practice, is fun to play with friends (you need controllers), i would love to see a rework for this game with better graphics , but the gameplay wins on this one! Variety is small, all vehicles are similar. Some weapons are available which act like power ups that you grab during race. Seems pretty shallow to me. Trying this game again and again but just can't force myself to complete it.

Fixed: uninstall LAV filters (go Setttings->Apps-> Search for "lav") Edit 2: AI cheats, don't buy. Edit 3: totally recommended, buy! super fun and lovely creation. Needs some time to practice! ;) P.S. 32 bit graphics mode doesn't work, only 16 bit Autosave mode can be enabled in options

This is the "Drive to Survive" version, not the "Fully Loaded", so please stop writing negative reviews about the version since the cover of the game is referring to the first one. The AI behavior will change over different maps, modes and difficulties. Although the AI has some minor problems, it is challenging ,hard and varied. Don't forget to try the co-op mode. And hey, it's so cheap specially on sale. Just buy it, you won't regret.

I spent countless hours playing this with friends back in the day. In fact, it's actually easier to get this running on Linux now than it is on Windows. There's a decent amount of single player content to get through, but the real joy in Mashed is playing it with other people, now possible with Steam's online local MP support. It is definitely more enjoyable when playing multiplayer (although playing solo against the CPU isn't terrible either) - trash talking your friends and competing against known people is a unique joy. Would definitely recommend this game.

Wouldn't recommend playing it alone. Grab three friends, a few beers, tap in that cheat code that unlocks all levels and cars and go nuts. The clunkiness and random physics just add the charm and create those unforgettable moments of randomness and laughter.
