Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants
Directed by Hélène Giraud, Thomas Szabo
In a peaceful little clearing, the remains of a hastily abandoned picnic sparks a battle between two tribes of ants. A bold young ladybug finds himself caught in the middle. He befriends the leader of the black ants, Mandible, and helps him save the anthill from the assault of the terrible red ant warriors, led by the fearful Butor. A fantastic journey at ground level. When kids in the audience end up crying over bugs, you know you’ve won. We’ve created such a threatening world for these little guys!!!

There's a wonderful 1953 film, 'Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot', so funny, made by a genius called Jaques Tati. Similar atmosphere to 'Minuscule', quiet humorous observation. Vive la France.

I FUCKING HATE EVERY CHARACTER, EVERY JOKE, EVERY SCENE, EVERY SINGLE MINUSCULE ASPECT OF THIS PURE SICK FILTH! The movie doesn’t even end with them in jail like it should’ve, they just get to move on with their lives.. I’m done. 🧵44/45
