I have absolutely no idea how this game gets quite a few positive reviews. This might be the worst "gaming product" I touched in a VERY long time. Softlocks are everywhere. Bugs in code logic are insane. i enjoyed my time with it, but i can see why some people wouldn't. it's a fps roguelite, but i'm scratching my head at the why of it. the game is a full campaign split into three acts, each having to be completed in one go, and a death sends you all the way back. you only get your checkpoints at each end of act. i don't have a problem with this, but the roguelite elements almost feel like it's... tacked on? there is …

Interesting roguelike, but the metaprogression is almost entirely useless. You start the game with around 100HP. A typical upgrade increases your HP by 2. Yes, TWO. Another upgrade increases the healing by TWO POINTS. As the game progresses, they get more expensive, so in a given run you might be able to increase your HP by 6 points. Or increase reload speed by 1%. Or damage by 2%. Some nodes can be purchased more than once, but all in all, after 10-20 runs, you should have a ridiculous 5%…

It's a well made game that's fun, but falls short in important areas. Notably: level design is good but too repetitive Weapon unlocks take too long Early game weapon variety is too restrictive metaprogression is limited to "get 2% extra X" Only 3 areas/main levels.

This game is not as the video showcases. Combat is extremely slow, bosses and enemies are nothing to write home about, and overall the feel of the game is very bland. If this was only a $10 game, I'd say give it a try. But, at $25? Hell no. There's so many better FPS roguelikes out there to play, such as: "Battle Shapers", "Gunfire Reborn", and "Robo Quest". Two of which are cheaper than this title.

(Obligatory if there was a mixed button, I would press that instead.) This is a polished sci-fi Boomer Shooter hiding beneath layers of mediocre and uninspired roguelike elements. Visually, the game looks great, and its overall presentation is sleek. The gunplay feels good, and the QoL is notably strong. This game’s roguelike side isn’t the worst I’ve experienced, it’s just incredibly mediocre. All upgrades, whether intra-run relics (‘augments’ as they’re called here) or permanent changes,…

It is ok, Roguelite by the book. Saw the fun after 2 hours. When you hit the boss and lose, you can do the same half hour of tedious motions to get to him again, to get another chance. I did this a few times and quickly saw the boundaries of this title. Rinse and repeat, There is not enough content for me to justify the price. Devs seem like a decent bunch though.

Would’ve loved to suggest this game is it does scratch a certain type of roguelite fps that I do so enjoy, but find rarely in other roguelite fps. However the number of times I have had to end a run due to the game allowing my character into a position but not letting me leave is too much. My final straw is that I am sitting on the fully cleared second to last level in the area (one before final boss of the area) and now I have to restart. So like with all games like this wait for them to fix…

I can't wait to go spend my metacurrency on 5% run speed in the tech tree. Oh boy. I loved this game in the playtest/demo, but the release just did not improve on the issues. Passives/augments feel useless or way too punishing (turning your pistol into a shotgun with spray pattern for instance.) You can get the same weapon in a box that you have in your hand. I've had no desire to get anything other than a high damage weapon because the amount of 50%+ damage upgrades make fast firing ones feel…

Man, I'm torn on whether to recommend Moros Protocol or not. It has some awesome art direction, great atmosphere, and high-energy music. However, there are a lot of half-baked systems and underwhelming implementation of some core features that stifled my enjoyment. The controls are one of my big gripes. With all that we have for FPS games these days, I really can't see what this one adds to the table besides the nice visual style. Settings are underwhelming and the content fails to pull you in, especially for the expectations such a price point brings. It feels more like a neat <10€ indie project with potential than a game worth dropping up to 25€ for. This is my biggest problem. To me it just feels like a simple roguelite game from the 2010s at a bloated price as it stands.

It's OK. I played a couple of runs, got to what I assume is the last boss of stage 1 (based on the map) on my second which felt a little easy. The gameplay is pretty fun, weapons are quite diverse and feel good to use, nice impact to everything. The visuals get old fast, every level looks the same and although there is a dripfeed of new enemies the same ones you've been fighting since floor 1 keep coming along too (and getting easier and easier to kill, of course). Played using gamehub and gamenative on my AYN THOR android device. About 30 fps or 60 using steamlink to stream to the handheld. This game rocks. There's some fun guns and some good reload animations. Some are reused but none of them are offensive. The game feels fun to play even without audio. There's a basic story and it works to frame the fun. Graphics are neat, kinda like that game with the dwarf mining crew. I didnt get to try COOP.

I hate seeing her go, but I love watching her walk away... It will say refunded but all my issues with the game were fixed and I rebought it on sale. I'd recommend it now! My only real complaint is that the platforming feels kind of off, which only matters to me for one specific challenge room that I can't beat. I love the bosses in this game and the art style. It reminds me of System Shock or Dead Zone Rogue. I'd recommend this if you like those.

After finishing the game I don't think I can recommend it. Meta progression is very basic without a single upgrade that will actually change how you play, everything is a slight stat boost or an augment slot for your armor. Speaking of augments (random upgrades you find during a run), while there's a couple interesting ones, most of them are also simple stat boosts. Health upgrade has like 5 different augments of varying value. Where it shines is presentation. Graphics make it really stand…

Came for the ass, stayed for the addicting rogue-like gameplay loop. Jokes aside though, this game is extremely fun and engaging - both complex and varied enough to get you through the entire game with absolute ease, yet simultaneously simple enough to not overcomplicate the strategy, combat or level up system. To be fair, to me personally this game doesn’t have amazing replayability, because I got every weapon, upgrade, and so on, before I beat the game, so once I had the final boss, that was…

This game checks all the boxes for people who like rogue likes. Some runs you will have a crazy gun with a combination of items that give it a 300% damage modifier, other times you spend 15 minutes fighting the second boss because your using stock guns. The only thing I will say is that once you learn the attack patterns of the bosses, they become incredibly easy and I only died twice during my whole play through. This feels like a studio's first game, it's got passion behind it, but lacks an…

The clunky movement is a layer of filth that makes redeeming parts of this game difficult to appreciate. Even if it had good movement, it would only be average.

Good fun, nice graphics and a neat story with a nice mommy baddie. I give it a solid 8, needs alittle more level variety but its an awesome new roguelike :3

I enjoyed my time with it. It is a little slower than expected, so it's great if your reflexes are on the slower side. All in all pretty fun game with around 6 to 8 hours of content.

Came for the dommy mommy, stayed for the dommy mommy and the gameplay. Its fun, I heavily enjoy the art style and gameplay loop is fun. Made it to I think the 3rd chapter and got about half or more of the upgrades unlocked so far. I got it on sale, generally I try to shoot for 1$ per hour. Not sure if Ill hit 18 before finishing the game entirely, but its still EA. So I say dont grab it at full price yet

When I saw snippets of this game on social media, I was super pumped for it. It looked like it had everything I could ask for in an fps, with a super neat art direction. After beating it I honestly found it pretty underwhelming. The gameplay is pretty basic and never truly felt like a challenge to me, the environments and levels are hardly different and it got old pretty fast. It’s by no means a bad game but I honestly don’t see myself playing it again. Still recommend it though.

Ok graphics, bare bones game mechanics boring weapons, uninspired upgrades, gets boring fast. If you get it very cheap is an OK game to play for an afternoon.
