Mouthwashing is a game developed by Wrong Organ, about a five-person crew of the freighter, Tulpar, after Captain Curly intentionally crashes the ship into an asteroid, leaving him mutilated and sparking a tense, hallucinatory struggle for survival as co‑pilot Jimmy assumes command and the crew discovers their entire cargo is useless mouthwash. neutral · AI labelView post →Mouthwashing is the best movie I've seen all year. The fact it's technically a game doesn't change that. Highly recommended if ur a fan of space psychological horror and End of Evangelion
positive · AI labelView post →Mouthwashing is the video game equivalent of a movie that, while you enjoyed it, you never want to watch a second time holy fuck
neutral · AI labelView post →My hot take of the week is that I think there are very few games that have the kind of stories and narrative structures required to make them even halfway decent movie adaptations. Mouthwashing is one of the most incredible games to come out in years, turning it into a movie misses the whole point
negative · AI labelView post →How much time before someone makes a Mouthwashing movie?
neutral · AI labelView post →So with the fact that Anya is based off Shelley Duvall. And Daisuke Being based off of Haruhiko Katô (this was brought up by @/Steph_Jest on twitter) Which actors are the rest of the crew based off of #Mouthwashing
neutral · AI labelView post →Shit, I'd even go as far as to make a video comparing Mouthwashing to the movie Men (2022) and how Mouthwashing did a better job of portraying the horror of the systemic dehumanization AND deification of the masculine and how that strips everyone within it of the gift of vulnerability and community.

neutral · AI labelView post →Saw ppl wanting new endings for #Mouthwashing I viewed the game like a movie, with a clear story. It didn't feel like a RPG style game where YOU are the character making choices... The whole point of it is Jimmy's making those choices and you're basically watching him destroy everything

positive · AI labelView post →I think Mouthwashing could maybe be a movie It’s about the length of one, but I really don’t think it would suffer too much in anyway from going from game -> movie

neutral · AI labelView post →RE7 and 8 were both awesome! Personally I enjoyed 8 a bit more than 7 but 7 was the scarier game by far. The RE remakes from the past few years are pretty amazing especially if you enjoyed the originals. I just finished RE4 Remake and it's probably the best action horror I have ever played. The Dead Space remake is also incredible and I highly recommend it. Some indie titles like Mouthwashing, and Security Booth are creepy, quick, and fun. Most of these all go on sale every few weeks as…

neutral · AI labelView post →I hope Mouthwashing gets made into a movie, but only if the creators get to help make it. And I don't mean this in a "a movie would be a better experience" kind of way. I fully believe a story can be told well in multiple formats, and this one would also work in film if done right.
