Much Ado About Nothing
Directed by Kenneth Branagh
In this Shakespearean farce, Hero and her groom-to-be, Claudio, team up with Claudio's commanding officer, Don Pedro, the week before their wedding to hatch a matchmaking scheme. Their targets are sharp-witted duo Benedick and Beatrice -- a tough task indeed, considering their corresponding distaste for love and each other. Meanwhile, meddling Don John plots to ruin the wedding. From TMDB

positive · AI labelView post →Billion dollar idea: Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing holidays. Swan around a Tuscan villa in white dresses and no bra, looking hotter than anyone has ever looked, eating grapes and making fun of men in leather trousers.

No Country For Old Men, Javier Bardem killing it. Much Ado About Nothing, seen on TV over 2 decades ago but didn't remember the title, so I was really happy to stumble upon it.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF GOD?! *Keanu takes a steady sip of his drink & puts it down* Keanu Reeves: I don't know about god, but I know you're the Devil, man.
neutral · AI labelView post →Keanu Reeves in "Much Ado About Nothing". His performance as Don John was a rankling clanger in a pitch-perfect movie including Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, Denzel Washington, Kate Beckinsale, Robert Sean Leonard, Michael Keaton and many other great actors. Love this film; skip Reeves' scenes.

neutral · AI labelView post →I watched David Tennant and Catherine Tate's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, which was obviously stunt cast for clicks, but was also charming and I enjoyed it very much. I am actually pretty sold on Tennant as a Shakespearean actor but it's primarily because of his HAMLET

neutral · AI labelView post →We were watching 1993's of Much Ado About Nothing, and the movie is undermined only somewhat by the scene where Don Pedro offers himself as a husband to Beatrice and she's like "Nah, I'm good," when the audience can plainly see that Don Pedro is played by Peak-Handsomeness Denzel Washington.

neutral · AI labelView post →Live plays, may have to do with the company/choice of actors I saw at the time, they were all fantastic but these were standouts: Twelfth Night Much Ado About Nothing Macbeth was incredibly well done but being an antsy ADHD teenager dinged it. Movie adaptations, it has to be Titus.
