The USSR era is coming to its end – it is 1988. The radio amateur catches a strange signal that emits incomprehensible noises. It is broadcast around the clock and only sometimes a human voice makes its way through the air. You will have to uncover terrifying secrets about this enigmatic signal. From the Steam store page

What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 79 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (164 of 298 positive).
Some players found the game's atmosphere and story intriguing, especially for its low price. [1][2][3] Many reviewers criticized the game for bugs, poor voice acting, and frustrating gameplay mechanics. [4][5][6] The VR implementation was widely panned as unplayable and nauseating. [7][8][9]

Short adventure with some spookiness to it. Somewhat interesting as you explore but the farther you get it starts to become a bit daunting. Visuals are bearable and dialogs leave much to be desired. However there is some horror value so it might be worth checking out. Good luck with finding source of the noise.

A short game with an interesting story that had a Half Life like feel too it (Soviet Half Life 😊) I wish it was longer with more story to discover (perhaps in another timeline they did us this anomaly and the USSR continued). The English voice acting could be better, but in Russian it was perfect so I suggest playing it this way. No performance issues and I didn't encounter any fame breaking bug (monster glitched …

At this point I can say with certainty, people are NOT going to enjoy creeping from room to room over and over again waiting for something to change, listenning to high school kids read their scripts, and thinking of ways to tape or weight the W key down. Left stick of an Xbox controller does work, btw. The graghics are [graces must be given here] weak at best, with trees outside coming indoors through walls. The …

I enjoy Soviet history and Soviet themed games (STALKER, Chernobylite, Metro, etc.), so I bought this game for $0.50 via a Humble Bundle credit that was about to expire anyway. Even having paid that low price, this game is a rip off. Even if it were free, it isn't worth your time. The gameplay, voice acting, and story are just terrible. It's also riddled with bugs. For example, the flashlight has a zoom function …

another unfinished and abandoned game with buggy and broken achievements. graphics are below average and voice acting is even worse. story and gameplay seemed ok and workable in the first level (aka chapter 1) and i actually had some fun playing. but after that the game went downhill fast and after chapter 2 the game just ended in the middle of the story. and it will stay like this since the developer officially …

neutral · AI labelView post →Downloaded this game just out of boredom and because its only $3 for the early access. Played for about 30 minutes and then felt like I had no idea what I was doing or how to progress. I had gone all the way one direction, and then all the way back another direction (which takes ages because the game's "sprint" speed is atrociously slow, and even with sprint being the speed of a brisk walk, there's still stamina, making walking take wayy to long.) After doing this I found a guide on the…

I paid $1.79 USD for this game back on the Steam Autumn Sale 2017 and now the game is all the way down to .49 cents! The game is easily worth that amount. But just because it's cheap doesn't mean it gets an auto positive recommendation. In this case, there's things to like and things not to like, almost evenly. The good is that this game is of decent length. It has some okay…

neutral · AI labelView post →Noise is a great indie horror game! I recommend to anyone who wants to play a little game and enjoy an interesting story that really delves you in! The voice acting is pretty on point. It took me a little bit for me to figure out what to do but not at the point where my friend and I got fustrated. As long as you walk around and look through everything you'll totally be fine. Also, this game is Early Access and it runs really smooth. I only had four things that I encountered that can be fixed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i thought this will be putin wodka balalaika and talkin to cheekie breeki stalin ghost, but no.. you get bugs, bad voice acting, boring story and at the end you fly out of the map just like in the other "1 dollal" walking simulators. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/FuJLM3x-IVg
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like atmosphere of this game. It reminds me of STALKER. Very interesting story... --- Developers should improve UI and settings menu, it looks kind of cheap :) Very aggresive lods on trees, some textures too blury. I think in overall game is really worth its money)

neutral · AI labelView post →Outside in 1988. A young radio amateur, who has just graduated from the university, accidentally catches a singal on a simple radio receiver and triangulates the place from which it comes from in an unknown way. After all, before him - none of the radio amateurs or the military - for some reason, was not interested in these signals. Do you find this strange? But this is only the beginning! And so, our hero goes on foot into the forest, having with him a short-wave RADIO and a flashlight. After…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I couldn't beat it. Too frustrating. I liked the narration and there the story was going, but everything else kind of suck. Especially when the monster appeared. I am supposed to go in the dark and disable the light, but no matter what, the monster always gets me, if I run - he outruns me, if I hide in dark - it finds me. Also the performance is terrible and subtitles are way off in those blue warp fields. 2/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Reading guide is mandatory for some points, too less explanation. And running away part in darkness didn't work for me at all, can't pass that point. - You may get stuck like then trying door code you don't know. Graphics is good enough, don't expect much. Movement is clumsy. Saving in certain points only. + USSR 1998 setup + Wish to find out what is happened + You'll get to know what happens if you change time dimension only and not the location dimension

neutral · AI labelView post →The monster gets stuck in doorways preventing opening the final door, achievements don't work, the game is buggy overall. Would have been better without a stupid generic ass monster.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am sad to say, that this game does rather badly in VR. Using the Valve Index controllers was a chore, menu controls a twitchy, probably because finger position is somehow interpreted as cursor movement. Movement in game is annoyingly slugish and again interaction is twitchy at best. Performance is massively subpar, this could actually make me sick. The setting somewhat intrigued me, but without VR, this is not enough to actually make me want to play it further.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horrible, controls don't work, vr is the worst for this game, voice acting made my ears bleed and the game looks like garbage graphically. Unless you like trash avoid this game at all costs. I have played thousands of games on steam and this is near the bottom of the list.....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I don't really care if the episode is removed. I'm not making money off these things, so it's not like I'm out anything. I don't think any of my Bring the Noise episodes are still up at this point. It's all for the love of the game anyway... 🤷♂️

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall idea is cool, but realization, level where you have to turn on 20 lights is just really annoying and frustrating especially when main character stucks in all objects across the game. Also the slow change of your "weapons" is ridiculous, even if the person is a normal civilian no one would ever pull out the light so freaking slow. It needs lots of bug fixes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Straight garbage. The VR is absolutely atrocious from the ugly as sin movement and graphics to the poorly programmed controls. In the opening menu I knew I was going to be disappointed when left and right were reversed. In game (VR) the D pad on my controller did not even function, I had to keep going back to my desk to tune the radio via the mouse wheel. The games movement literally made me nauseous with a headache. After giving up and trying the game outside VR, the horrible voice acting and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am sry i tried it, the game is just very bad. So many bugs and problems. If you bump into any surface like a box or small object you can fly off or stack 90% of the time, running is not that great and buggy also, you can be stuck in walls and ground. Very unfinished game. Radio makes no sense whatsoever in this game. The first 1h. was fine, more like a walking simulator, but the time monster came, the game was from barely playable to just a horrible and tedious experience, the monster was…
