What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 157 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Very Positive (476 of 582 positive).
Players describe OmniBus as a charming, satirical arcade game with wonky physics and frustrating difficulty. [1][2][3] Some reviewers find the game's controls and level design lead to more frustration than fun. [4][5][6]

Cool aesthetic and fun idea, but gameplay is often more frustrating than fun.

Bought this game for 30 cents. Worth its value, much better then a free game. It has structure, challange and character. Level design is good, not just a messy rendering of something random Still the game isnt the best. Levels are either too easy or impossibly difficult, with little in betweens. This leads to frustrating gameplay. Worst of all, you need to beat all levels to move on, which defeats the chance of …

Omnibus is the Dark-Souls of bus driving games. In all seriousness though, it’s a fun, light-hearted arcade style game where you are driving a bus, using the bus to complete all kinds of challenges from bank heists to space exploration. The best way I could describe this game is that it is kind of like a satirical “anti-game” in a similar vein to Goat Simulator, where it doesn’t take itself too seriously and is pure …

Absolutely infuriating game. The bus basically turns at 90° angles, you can not stop at all and the levels are designed for maximum pain. Add some ridiculous goals to achieve, wonky physics and strange abilities for Mr.Bus and you got yourself this game. Its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good rage game. 10/10

I would recommend you play omnibus. I cannot tell if I like omnnibus. I have hated a lot of my time with omnibus. I have also loved it immensely. it is one of the strangest and yet most fun games I have ever played. A lot of it's design choices mystify me, but I have also 100% completed the game so it clearly has something special to it. Omnibus is kind of the biggest mix of amazing and trash at the same time, but …

Players who liked OmniBus talk about charming retro aesthetic and unique level design; those who didn't talk about frustrating controls and wonky physics. Which matters more to you?
Critics, per Wikipedia
OmniBus received "mixed or average" reviews, according to review aggregator platform Metacritic. Jed Whitaker at Game Revolution noted that the game physics, though intentionally unsound for the sake of satire, had a detrimental effect on the experience. The soundtrack was said to be one of the worst he had ever heard, while the free play mode was described to have been a useless addition to "an overall shallow game". However, Whitaker singled out the multiplayer mode as OmniBus' only redeeming quality, alongside a few of the story levels. Writing for Hardcore Gamer, Kyle LeClair praised the execution of it deliberately being "so bad, it's good". Like Whitaker, LeClair found the story…

But it wasn’t until Feb 2016 that I started using the game for an ongoing campaign, starting with a tour of all 4 adventures out of the Sunken City Omnibus

Everything sucks. <

neutral · AI labelView post →Basic racing game where you can only steer left or right and do flips when in the air. Goals are different, depending on the stage, sometimes it might be gathering enough points or destroy stuff, some are weirder than the other. What a disaster. You can play Carmageddon instead of wasting time on this jank.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think many would agree with me that, regardless of what game you play, you can feel what the devs’ intention is. Whether the game is good or not, some games are the devs trying to captivate you with their art and aesthetics. Some games are trying to sheepishly please you by giving you mechanics and tropes you’re familiar with. Some games try to impress you with the cool bosses, shocking moments, and exciting designs. Some beg you to be entertained, trying to occupy your time with so many…

neutral · AI labelView post →Can't stop this bus. Story: Omnibus does not really have a story to speak of. You're mostly doing crazy odd jobs for a bunch figures like a city mayor, the police and a bunch of others. The story is strung together by these jobs and that's basically all the story you get. But for this type of game story barely matters so it's fine as the very minor amount of writing you get is still pretty decent. Graphics: Omnibus has this combination of cardboard cutout and PS1 esque graphics going for it…

neutral · AI labelView post →This is the best time to write a review, right? If you're the casual type who doesn't go for achievements, this game isn't too hard. Even if its physics are dogwater and the levels can be annoying, there isn't anything you shouldn't be able to do. The game is hard but it isn't "I Wanna be the Guy" levels of hard. If you don't care about 100% and you want a fun, gimmicky game to pass the time, you might like this. It's got some charm and some nice ideas, plus all the levels are unique so you'll…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For the first few minutes I enjoyed this game, before realizing it's difficult for all the wrong reasons. The hit boxes on the hats you can collect are tiny, I passed right through without picking them up. Seeing how hard they are to get in the first place, this experience is no fun. The bus will fly all over the place while hitting a small object and barley move while hitting large objects. This game feels like it was developed to feel unfinished, but underlying effort seems to be missing.…

But the farther you go, the less it's about "drive around fast and do things" and more "try not to flip over for the twentieth damn time this level". Ramming into stuff at high speeds is fun, and there are some interesting mission types (the boss fights other than the UFO were pretty enjoyable as well). The trailers are also great. That being said, I get it's a joke game and the…

neutral · AI labelView post →And I think--maybe--in spite of the title (OMnibus SImulator) it's because the game wasn't intended as specifically as a bus simulator, the bus simulator it's thought of now, but as the simulation of driving a specific type of bus in a specific location at a specific moment of time.
neutral · AI labelView post →For comparison compared to other Marvel books, specifically TPB, HC, and OHC/Omnibus I also compared it to a DVD/Game case, and a Manga volume. While I admit it's odd marvel decided to use this newer format for a reprint of a highly requested for reprint run, it's actually a size I like!
