neutral · AI labelView post →Starting this!! Has anyone read it? I know John Green is a big fan of Taylor and Cara was in the movie for his book Paper Towns. Also, this tweet from 2024!! I also found this article from 2014 and I felt so parasocial reading it because the title is ridiculous time.com/3603101/john...
neutral · AI labelView post →Have you ever seen a movie completely alone in the theater? I saw "Paper Towns" about 10 years ago in Cedar City, Utah.
neutral · AI labelView post →If you're a book reader, then I strongly suggest reading the book over watching the movie. If not...then you may somewhat enjoy this. It's not terrible. My ★★ review of Paper Towns on Letterboxd boxd.it/7X6jzN

He has to deal with the consequences and tries to track her down. Eye rollingly lame. #PaperTowns #ManicPixieDreamGirl #YA #HighSchoolMovie #ComingOfAge

neutral · AI labelView post →Paper Towns on the Timehop app! Wow, it’s been 10 years since the movie was released. @johngreensbluesky.bsky.social
neutral · AI labelView post →thinking about how this guy made the Paper Towns movie, then nothing for a decade, then Thunderbolts*. i think instead of making an X-Men, he should stop for another ten years then make a movie of something else for teens, like Gideon the Ninth, or possibly Balatro
neutral · AI labelView post →Yeah, I remember the first time I read the book before seeing the adaptation, was The Fault In Our Stars. I felt so disappointed they changed quite a bit. But at least the film was still good. Unlike with Paper Towns... Still not seen TLOU series yet
negative · AI labelView post →His comedic timing and assholery is impeccable in Do Revenge (a fave of mine), he was the best part in Chemical Hearts and Paper Towns, The Kings of Summer is such a good film that nobody watched and, of course, Weapons.
neutral · AI labelView post →|| Omg, you actually know Paper Towns? 😭 He was so funny in that movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →An old map copyright trap. I took this image I think from Paper Towns novel/movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →Paper towns. As in, towns that only exist on paper. There's also a movie with that name, *Paper Towns*, though I can't recall if it's related to the concept. IIRC, it mentions the term at least. It's absolutely true. Back when paper maps were a thing, they would put some random town in, and look for it in competitors' maps. Now that we have satnav, things like Google/Apple Maps and various others, I think they're mostly a thing of the past.
neutral · AI labelView post →Finally, at long last, someone has managed to supplant Paper Towns as the best Fantastic Four story on film. This is not 100% a joke/bit.
positive · AI labelView post →Same here. I don't think I'll ever grow out of them. The last YA book I read was Paper Towns and it wasn't a bad read. Definitely wouldn't recommend the movie over it though, I'll say that lol
negative · AI labelView post →He's done features before but they're ages back Robot and Frank (which is honestly a great little film) and Paper Towns (which I never saw cause I think I had some childish hangup over John Green a man whose work I never read)
neutral · AI labelView post →I just randomly found a youtube video of a song in a concert performance from 2015. It was from a movie called Paper Towns, which I have yet to watch, but I absolutely love the song. Thanks JD.
neutral · AI labelView post →ohhhh not only did i have the movie poster from the P4A with the “one sick love story” tagline on it, i also got the huge 6ft tall version from the movie theater for both TFiOS and Paper Towns. i still have them all too
neutral · AI labelView post →I find that most John Green books don’t translate well to film, they seem to cringe-ify everything he writes. It really sucks too because I enjoyed his books so much growing up! I haven’t watched the Paper Towns movie but judging by the main cast I would assume the book is better 😭
negative · AI labelView post →Love John Green! I've only read The Fault in Our Stars and Turtles All the Way Down but I've also seen the movie of Paper Towns, and I used to show his Crash Course Literature videos to my classes when I was teaching.
neutral · AI labelView post →John Green's "Paper Towns" with Cara Delevingne? Aha. Cara or Caramba/Damn? Is it John Green or Green Day? That movie passed at "Casa da Bia" months before I left the Clinic. Laugh with "Bia" from Blue Sky, which Profile Photo is a Boy? Boy & Girl? Hi Hidden Bag Things Now. -

neutral · AI labelView post →I think I'm going to read the book whenever I decide to watch the movie again, to compare. I like doing that to determine if I enjoy the movie more or less. Like Paper Towns (enjoyed the movie less) or Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (loved the movie more than the book).

positive · AI labelView post →The Paper Towns movie is exactly as fun and entertaining now as it was 10 years ago with all my friends in the theater. It was exactly what I needed today. #DFTBA
positive · AI labelView post →I finished reading Paper Towns & now I need to watch the movie!
neutral · AI labelView post →Why is Paper Towns banned? I haven't read the book but saw the film of it and thought it was quite thought-provoking. Maybe it gets teenagers thinking about things and the book-banning folk don't want to encourage reflection and thinking.
positive · AI labelView post →Nat Wolff PAPER TOWNS Cara Delevingne I was surprised at how much this film moved me. A beautiful performance from Nat Wolff. www.youtube.com/watch?app=de...
positive · AI labelView post →Why was the movie Paper Towns so good?
positive · AI labelView post →> You can't hold back forever your crush on someone. I don't know why it is underrated, probably that's a mistake. Because this is not your usual teen movie, but a different perspective tale and told in a quite exciting way. It was from the director of 'Robot & Frank', it is only his second film and he's now in my watch-out filmmakers list. Both the films were different genre and topic, and I totally loved them. This film was adapted from the book of the same name who wrote 'The Fault in Our…
