In Plantera you build your own garden and watch it grow with new plants, bushes, trees and animals. As you play and expand your garden you will attract Helpers, round blue creatures that will help you with your harvesting tasks. From the Steam store page

One of the most basic games I've ever seen. Wait is this a game? Nope it's work.

Plantera feels like someone took the “farm” genre, stripped away the stress, the people, and the need to rush—and left only the fun. You just plant. You watch. You buy upgrades. And then you watch again as your little world grows on its own. And the strangest thing is—it works. There’s no sense of urgency, no pressure, no “you’re doing something wrong.” Just a calm, almost meditative cycle where every upgrade feels …

It’s like farming but without the dirt. You plant stuff, collect coins, and hire cute critters to do all the work for you. It's simple, soothing, and oddly addictive. Super simple & an easy 100% achievement collection, but it’s repetitive. You grow, you collect, you expand anddddd repeat. No drama, just crops and chill. If you want a low-effort game to relax with, Plantera is your ticket to farm life without the …

Lovely little idle/clicker game, very polished and cute. The blue Helpers and animals are especially cute. There really isn't a whole lot of content though, I unlocked everything after about 1-1.5hrs of actively playing. However for a game that's just $2.99 or $0.49 on sale, it's about how much content I'd expect. I was just a little disappointed there wasn't more because I was enjoying it quite a bit. After that …

The simplicity of this idle game is elevated with the beautifully bright colour palatte and adorable characters. I love how chaotic it gets when you return after leaving it to idly run for a while! The trading cards are super cute too, I was loathe to craft my badge. Hands down the best 49p I’ve ever spent. DLC expansion when ? 💛👀

60 of 212 · most liked firstOverall Rating 6.5/10 Not really worth full price, but alright on a good sale. Clicker game, clearly meant to by on mobile (phones or tablets). On a computer monitor, the trees, shrubs, garden plots, animals, butterflies, animals and birds are all huge, and very busy. Your mouse cursor is TINY. No way to set the cursor to a larger size either. Once you have any amount of activity on screen, the cursor gets lost in all of the patterns and colors and movement on screen. So you click blindly,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was able to break myself away this week. Pretty much was aiming to fight the bosses more than anything else. Plantera was next, but I had to stop... Last two days were spent working on my game Torasu instead. I feel productive again but the want to continue playing is there lol
neutral · AI labelView post →Quite entertaining and kid friendly idle/clicker-game. The game has a certain charm that makes it worth playing, even if only for a few minutes a day. To sum up, if you are into relaxing farming games and want a peaceful experience, you should look into this, it's certainly worth the (small) price. Easy to 100% for achievement hunters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute farming idle clicker! Plant plants, make money, and swat away pests. Very charming and full of heart. Worth full price, but often ends up on a ridiculous 80% sale!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terraria at it's core is about boss progression. Here are the mandatory ones in order of completion: 1. Wall of flesh (<= after beating it is when the fun part starts, early game is kinda sluggish) 1. 3 Mechanical bosses 1. Plantera 1. Golem 1. Lunatic Cultist 1. Moon Lord The rest is prep work for each one. * Collecting NPCs and making housing for them * Collecting weapons, armour, accessories * Building arenas for bosses * Building farming locations * Defeating optional bosses for more…
neutral · AI labelView post →Cute and relaxing idle game. It's a casual experience suitable for all ages. The music is charming and the art style is easily readable. Generic repetitive serotonin-inducing experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent, relaxing idler with a charming art-style.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute clicker game that is done a bit differently from the usual ones as you get to grow your own garden complete with animals. I really enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a charming little Farming Idler / incremental game where you grow crops, fruits and vegetables from trees and bushes, and have animals that make produce. All of these things are collected for money which is used to buy better plants, animals, garden expansions, guard dogs, and a myriad of other things. You also have to guard your crops from a bunch of animals like birds, foxes, moles, and more. This becomes negligible later in the game but can be quite annoying in the beginning. It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Military Incremental Complex Incremental Game D Hopefully the last Incremental game for a bit - this goes a bit old school with a lot of prestige actions but with little progress in between. Made me look at Plantera more favorably after playing. Fairly basic but competent... #Gaming
positive · AI labelView post →Also Plantera has the best boss ost in the game fight me
positive · AI labelView post →Silly, little game. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a real fun Terraria session earlier today, and I think Plantera might be my favorite boss in the game because of it. Bit of a shame I didn’t get the funniest thing she can drop, because it’s an axe that’s a Gibson Flying V. And it’s one of the best axes in the game, hahah

neutral · AI labelView post →I'm not sure I understand what you're referring to. If by "three tiers", you're talking about pre-Hard-Mode, Hard-Mode, and post-Plantera, I don't think that falls under what is typically meant by "level scaling" (I realise you didn't use that term specifically, but people up-thread did). Level-scaling would be if a green slime, which dies in 2-3 hits at the beginning of the game, grew stronger alongside the player such that later in the game, it would still take 2-3 hits. I'm not saying this…
neutral · AI labelView post →This game is cute. You can get the achievements easily too (well, as long as you don't mind clicking a lot). Most of the time, you just have to idle to reach level 100. I had it open in another window while watching a K-drama. One thing I like about this game is that it continues to collect coins even when you're offline—and it levels you up too (just one level, though). Just make sure to upgrade the thing that increases offline coin collection time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idler game, pretty short, fine price, lots of animal frens, can get boring. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →super chill short casual idler. only critique is the moles are really difficult to hit when there's too many crops/objects on the screen, making that achievement an actual pain in the as to complete. maybe extending the timer on how long they pop out for a tiny bit would help, or change priority to whacking them first instead of picking up fruit/crops/bugs/etc also no volume slider setting in the game :c annoying to have to go to volume mixer just to adjust the game volume *every time* you…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very boring and repetitive. I will keep playing for the achievements. By playing I mean opening it 1 time per day. Less than 2h in, without any active play, and Ive already unlocked every bush/crop/animal and tree. Looks more as a prototype made 'game'.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the wildest 'idle' game I've played in a while. You better have a full-auto level of clicking skills to keep up with this one. You know the drill... Plant stuff, harvest stuff, get money, buy upgrades, plant more stuff, get more money.... Realistically to 100% this one, three hours of endurance rapid fire clicking, a day's idling, three more hours endurance rapid fire clicking, a day's idling, three more hours endurance rapid fire clicking and you're done. Trading cards included is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just kind of "fine" as far as number-go-up idle games go honestly. I struggle to have too much to say about it. It's not very expensive at all so no harm and no foul but there's better games I'd plonk in the corner of my screen in the genre for the same price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty mindless, I know people like 'idle' games but literally leave this running in the background while doing other things and you will eventually unlock everything. Zero effort gameplay so not much point...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →STREAM'S OVER!! Not only did I beat the Twins on my second try, I ALSO beat Plantera AND the Golem today! We're making so much progress through this game it's crazy! I can't wait to stream more next week! youtube.com/clip/Ugkxa9o...
neutral · AI labelView post →💙 late game kinda goes by too quick after Plantera yeah. Honestly my favorite part of Terraria has to be pre hard mode due to just how grounded stuff is. Which kinda makes sense since it was what was there since the beginning
neutral · AI labelView post →This game is so cute and relaxing, bought on a discount but 100% worth the full price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super cute game. You have a farm, little blue dudes help you, pets, and you whack moles. Cozy afk game to run while you do other stuff.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A relatively short but fun idle game to 100%
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I exclusively use Skill Issue as a joke. If a game is so difficult it isn’t fun, then that isn’t a skill issue that’s a game design issue. Like Plantera in Terraria, I ALWAYS skip Plantera using God Mode because it simply isn’t fun, it’s just tedious and annoying.
negative · AI labelView post →Hello hello! Back again with a few more scythes, these are scythes you can get Post Plantera. Now lately im adding Reaper accessories throughout the game before getting to armors. As always thoughts and feedback welcome. #fyp #terrariamods #pixelart #terraria #newmod

neutral · AI labelView post →cute art style, easy achievements, 100% in 11.6hrs. got it at around 50 cents.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Plantera is a cute clicker/idler you can leave the ''game'' open while doing something else. It's cute and relaxing, I like looking at my cat watching the screen xD for £0.49 It's worth it ! There's also Plantera 2 it's like an updated version with more options. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute graphic's, lo key chill, awesome sound effects and get to bash stuff with a mallet!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plantera 2 Golden Acorn Incremental Game C- I think it's charm beats out Pupple Pop even though this doesn't really have a prestige mechanic which is very typical for the genre.. because of that it feels limited, but the art style helps. There is a discord sound in the game which annoys. #gaming
neutral · AI labelView post →I did not expect to love this game as much as I did. It's a simple game but somehow so satisfying. I liked this one better than the second one, although that one was good also.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →most riveting gameplay in all of steam
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Omg Plantera the band and terraria reference?!??!!?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very silly idler with cute graphics and fun game loop!! :3c
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't forget that Plantera 2: Golden Acorn is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation & Xbox! Grow a magical garden centered around a mysterious oak tree! Check the game here: https://ratalaika.games/u/UpRAT
neutral · AI labelView post →Great idle game. It’s easy to follow. Its nice how you still gain cash even when you close the game. I achieve all of the achievements in 18 hours but i bet you can achieve it less than that! Definitely going to buy the second version of the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clam update. Beat Plantera and basically every boss before Golem in intended progression. Thus far I am not struggling as much as I was expecting given this is my first expert run, but I heard bosses after Golem is where the game picks up in difficulty. Most attempts was 3 for Leviathan.
neutral · AI labelView post →The game is an OK idle game, though it doesn't have anything extraordinary. The art style is simplistic but attractive and the music is calming — perfect for an idle game. Not needing to keep it open all the time is a great feature, as the game also generates money while offline. However, some of the scaling methods don't feel quite right (like scarecrows), and the game is very short without too much content. I wouldn't actively recommend this game to anyone, but if you are interested, it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This could have been a fun little idle game, but the design choices make it frustrating. Offline progress is almost useless, money gains hit a weird cap, and yet crops level faster when the game is closed than when it’s running? For an idle game, those design choices makes no sense. It feels inconsistent and poorly balanced, and I regret buying it. No, my hour count isn't legitimate. I left the game running 24/7 just to gain some progress on multiple occasions. Steam keeps asking me to redo…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice graphics, but it's most simplistic, least inventive idler I've played. Poor controls and confusing methods of interacting with existing plants/creatures.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No spoilers, but I just wanna go on record to say the name of the new Plantera-themed whip is epic #terraria 1.4.5 Also go update the game and play right now. You know you wanna.
positive · AI labelView post →hehe number go upp
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun little time waster. I first discovered this on the 3DS and bought on Steam too almost 10 years ago. I went back to it to try for all the achievements, and at the time of writing the only one I'm missing is Level 100. It's been very tedious to get that one. I haven't played any other games in this genre but it does seem a bit basic/repetitive. Still worth it especially on a deep sale. I'm looking forward to trying out the sequel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i dont even remembering buying this but its really not that good
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →little cute idle clicker game with easy 100% but second part more diverse and interesting, with more content :)
