Review copy provided by developer via Curator Connect I’m a big fan of puzzles, but I can also be pretty picky about them. I enjoy puzzles that present all the information you need to solve them up front, and then leave it to you to make the logical connections. That means I don’t care much for puzzles that expect you to do massive experimentation to reach the answer, like those super hardcore ones that present you …

The game seems alright but it has some game breaking bugs that haven't been addressed anymore for a couple of years. One of them being a game breaking bug that doesn't let you continue with the game, in a bugged keypad for a door in one of the rooms ("Crosswords" room). Some people have reported some issues with the menus and other parts too. So In it's current abandoned state I wont recommend buying it.

A horror escape room puzzle point and click. You, along with your wife, have been kidnapped and you have to escape the killer's "Funhouse". Each room poses a number of puzzles for you to complete in order to progress. I thought it was pretty well made considering it's a low budget indie. You can tell there was inspiration from the horror franchise SAW put into it. The atmosphere and audio is well done. Puzzles are …

Final Verdict: Buy on Sale! So this game is very rough around the edges. Plus it involves a lot of pixel hunting. And some of the voice acting is uneven (while the main protagonist does a good job, the wife is terrible but probably due to language issues). However, the game is very atmospheric and some of the puzzles are genuinely fun to solve. Not all the puzzles are fair. I had to look up a few and when I found …

Story In Play With Me, you play as Robert, a journalist who is investigating the murders committed by a serial killer only known to the press as Illusion. One day Robert and his wife Sara are kidnapped by Illusion and Robert is forced to go through trials set by the killer. At this point Robert has to complete these trials to save himself and his wife. Robert wakes up handcuffed to a chair with a splitting headache in a dimly lit room, and Sara is nowhere to be seen. Surveying the area as best you can from your position, you will need to find a way to unlock the handcuffs by seeking out items that may be helpful or give you clues. Soon you will discover you are being…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey man, why don't we just play some board games. With a new Saw movie being released for the first time in seven years, you gotta get some life threatening puzzle solving somewhere. The official Saw games do not do it justice but what about Saw inspired games? We come into the picture right as our protagonist, Robert Hawk, get kidnapped and put into a dark room. Still fresh from his car accident, or perhaps it was planned all along, this investigative journalist now has to go through puzzles…

In this game we put ourselves in the shoes of Robert Hawk in a scenario in which nobody would want to be, a kidnapping. Could Robert unmask his captive and save his wife? And most importantly, can you leave this place alive? Positive Points •A music very appropriate to the situation and that makes you tense waiting for something to happen at all times. •Something that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got to room 3, and after about an hour of clicking blindly and not finding any clues, I quit and refunded the game. There are still a lot of bugs, which are unfortunately blocking. I don't mind a glitch in an otherwise good game, but finding notes which, due to a bug, don't contain the code you need to progress, is just silly and annoying, because you don't even know the solution was supposed to be on that note... Too bad, was promising.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you get a super high fidelity rendered sloppified steam capsule/logo you are doing the same shit as those browser game ads which have a busty sexy lady and are like 'COME PLAY WITH ME MY LORD' and are actually like a pixel strategy game, you're deceiving us all about what your project actually is

See, you were kidnapped by the "Illusion Killer', and you play as Robert Hawk, a reporter, who has been reporting on the killer and his traps for a long time. That's the basic gist of the story, you basically solve…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Saw the game last night on the store page, gf was sitting behind me and said: "Oh that looks interesting with all the puzzles!" - so I bought it. Started it one minute later, she again:"You gonna play this right now?! Its midnight!" After a couple minutes into the game and a few puzzles later she couldnt take it anymore and went to the living room to watch tv. Would buy it again.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I will play with myself.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The demo wasn't bad. The game went on sale for 50 cents the day after I played it. I am glad that's all I paid for it. The voice acting is terrible and annoying-so much that I can't maintain interest in the story. Robert talks entirely too much. Sara sounds like she is reading from a script, not at all convincing in her supposed terror. It's like a "find the key" simulator, except that it's codes. Some may like it. I just couldn't stay engaged.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game so much but simply can't reccomend it. I got to the third puzzle after having to look up the solutions to the first 2. (Honestly, the solutions feel more like a random string of actions than a thoughtful procedure) After reaching the 3rd room and collecting clues, I was left wondering WTF I was meant to do. The backgrounds were nice enough but specifically in the 2nd room, the vision effect was terrible. I had trouble seeing anything let alone the clues. The horror…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →as a fan of escape rooms, i can say this definitely doesn't have that same vibe. a lot of the codes you fumble for the correct code because it feels like the clues are out of order. not only that, but you're often left desperately clicking at nothing to try to find the solution, which while it is fitting for an escape room game, putting a time limit on it makes it worse because some of these things feel like they can't be done in time without prior knowledge

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →excellent: dev and game. not into horror, still, truly enjoyed. didn't find that hard as it seems from few reviews. loved the mix of achievements: a few "random" ones, plus some for very well thought puzzles. played in Italian; translation is even better than some AAA games and covers the entire game (even in "images"). a pity that such a game/dev got "Mixed" reviews. ideally, this should be a "Very Positive" one. received as a gift Made in SeTuR-land
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun Scary puzzle game which is done well with each or those elements. Voice acting is decent but the art is amazing in this game. Seems to be a bunch of escape rooms strung together so far but it is still terryfing than most other games, if you like spooks and puzzles you will like this game Here is a video of me doing the first room if you want to see how it plays and you can judge if you want to get it yourself https://youtu.be/rauLbsARcME

neutral · AI labelView post →There are some interesting ideas in here but most of the game is overdone and cliche. The game itself looks fine but lacks any real character. Also a lot of the puzzle solving comes down to randomly finding what you need instead of you actually solving it. For gameplay of Play With Me check out my video here: https://youtu.be/eqJ-CFalKxs

As someone who plays a lot of adventure games, I'm always on the lookout for titles that go beyond just pointing and clicking. Play With Me does exactly that—it blends exploration, puzzles, atmosphere, and narrative choices into a genuinely engaging and interactive experience. From the moment you start, the game pulls you in with its mysterious setting and unsettling tone. You're constantly uncovering new…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't really like the game, the gameplay is tedious, there are bugs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Play With Me: Escape Room is an older game from 2013. It's 10 years old at the time of this review. It's a point and click adventure game with a horror/escape room theme put together with node-webkit/nw.js, and the design and presentation is more like a browser/mobile game than a dedicated PC game. Gameplay consists of solving puzzles by clicking around on various screen hotspots while a macabre horror/thriller message is revealed through the plot of the game. Fair enough, and if the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This started out as a nice Puzzle Adventure with horror atmosphere. Well drawn and nicely done. BUT it's not fun to solve riddles if you are put under such time pressure! Rooms, where you die within seconds if you don't have the answer already, codes you have to brute force because you're getting less and less hints and then you don't even get to see your surroundings anymore. It gets repetative, because the numbers of the codes are either in boxes or they appear after a trigger point. Each…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVE escape room games - this is a point and click kinda game, where you have to find codes to open up locked chests and doors, there are a lot of rooms to go through. The code combinations aren’t always as straightforward as it might seem. so sometimes you have to experiment a bit with the order you use the different number/letter sequences. And sometimes it's difficult to see which numbers or letters are being written, due to the somewhat poor graphics. The story for me was okay, not that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scary, fun and challenging! I love survival-horror and puzzle games, so I am really enjoying this one. It took me about 30 minutes to escape the first room. I look forward to the next room and its challenges. SPOILERS ahead! Check out my gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdnwuY3jfOY&feature=youtu.be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has been abandoned and is literally impossible to beat. This game is already a huge mess and very hard and janky to navigate. Also, when I got to the Crossword Room and found the code it didn't work so I used the hint which just turned out to be the code I was already using. Tried everything. Cheats don't work, save game file didn't work either. Buggy mess do not buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Few translation issues and far-stretched answers ruined the game for me, everything else was cool though. I did fine with the game for the first bit, but eventually I ran through things that was so far fetched that it didn't make sense how anyone was supposed to figure it out. I don't think it is me that is thinking that either, I usually do good with puzzles and games like this. One of the puzzles I remember had a translation issue though, where the clue was different than the answer, which…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9 out of 10 Misfits will enjoy this game. This game is great. It adds point and click, puzzles, and a creepy theme to a great genre all while feeling like you are in the "Jigsaw" movies, which is great! You are basically trapped in an area with little to no chance of escape and are tasked with doing just that, escaping! The atmosphere is creepy and the sound is awesome. The puzzles are good as well and make you use things around you in real life to actually solve some of them. If you are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing well-made puzzles, slightly difficult (depends on the difficulty level you choose) I had the "good ending", and I'm VERY SHOCKED by the plot twist, for this I didn't expect
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Font choice in the game clues made it so that I couldn't read the clues. For example EKR was actually E1CR, I can't imagine the difficulty someone with dyslexia would have playing this game. I had to consult a walkthrough to realize that I literally couldn't decipher the characters in the font choice. Made the game frustrating to the point that I had no desire to finish.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Afraid I can't recommend this. Which is such a shame, as the concept was novel, and some of the puzzles were decent, and some of the levels did a good job of building atmosphere. And I liked the bits where you were navigating a computer (which was frankly underused), but overall there were far too many detractors for me to enjoy my time with the game, which is mercifully on the shorter side. The least of these sins was sometimes the puzzles were a bit obtuse/hard to spot the answers in the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little puzzle game with some nice art in it and if u can stuck there is a help button. For the price of the game i really didn't think i would enjoy but i really loved it thanks dev's for the good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is very buggy generally speaking, had a great ordeal on the two rooms which had valves to rotate, it would not work well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed playing this game, though there were a few things that made it a bit annoying at times. The puzzles are pretty creative and each one feels unique, which kept things fresh. However, some of the code puzzles were a bit off, the solutions didn't always make logical sense, which meant getting stuck and a bit frustrated here and there. The game doesn’t go too heavy on horror, so don’t expect constant scares, but it does have a few solid jump scares. the story was interesting, letting you…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great horor puzzle game, but the puzzles are a little harder in some moments but i warmly recommend the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Janky as controls just made it not as fun as the story seemed to be sorry ;-;
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fine but I lost my patience with it. Major epilepsy warning for parts. If you get it for free or for a couple cents it's a worthwhile buy. Avoid otherwise.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a cheap and good puzzle game with an active developer who's constantly patching bugs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rather enjoyed this though the puzzles were a little hard and the hints didn't really help.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun since I enjoy escape room games! Some of the puzzles are harder and more odd than others but its not unbeatable. There are some very interesting mechanics in the game that I liked. I wish the ending rooms had a bit more detail to them as the first few rooms though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game, I recommend that anyone who likes riddles tries it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, not for idiots.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a fan of the SAW franchise, I was excited to play a game semi/loosely inspired. I just couldn't get into this point and click game. I just felt bored. Not to discredit the dev, but this feels like one of those random bad flash games you'd come across on the internet in the early 2000s. I wish the best for the dev though!
