What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 66 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mixed (1,123 of 1,855 positive).
Players enjoy the power fantasy of starting as an overpowered main character. [1][2][3] Some reviewers find the game too easy and lacking challenge. [4][5][6] The translation is decent but has occasional issues. [7][8][9]

Disappointed. This is not much of a game as it is reading a story. There is absolutely no challenge for the player. There is no sense of growing your character. You are just reading. Your preparedness to take on battles are of no consequence because the concept of the game is that you are essentially invincible from the start of the game. You literally start at lvl 100 while everyone else is a peasant. I kept …

WOW! Supa-gem right here as well!! CRAZY fun and open-ish Jianghu CRPG. TONS of CRPG elements, lots of side quests, main quests, equipment, fun stuff to explore/see/and do and just a JOY to play! Well-crafted, great job devs! The translation is more than decent enough, and the gameplay is *awesome*. Great stuff guys, thanks 4 making it & GOD BLESS yall! <3

Its surprisingly fun getting to be an overpowered young master. Punishing those who have eyes but cannot see the enormity of Mount Tai.

Pretty fun game, a ton of content and really portrays the "OP MC" experience quite well.

Is another Wuxia RPG inspired by Heluo Studio's games like Legend of Wulin Heroes / 武林群俠傳. There's so many of these, I'll say they're as influential in Taiwan & China as Fallout 1 & 2 are in Eastern Europe lol

Things like getting characters to like you up to 200 points, or not being able to pick up items… it really feels like this game needed more time before launching in this state. I managed to get 3 or 4 heroes to like me (maxed out), but it gave me nothing. No shops, no rewards—just pointless. It reminds me of Hero's Adventure, but unfortunately doesn't deliver the same depth. You can't pick things up or steal,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall, I am enjoying the game. It is quite good, but there are several glaring flaws that the development team must fix to unlock its full potential. Here is what needs immediate improvement: + Clearer NPC Strength: Show numerical levels for NPC internal skills instead of text descriptions. The current wording is very confusing, particularly due to the poor AI English translation. + Enhanced Ally Interactions: The intimacy system with ally NPCs feels a bit limited. Expanding the options for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're asking if this game is better than "Hero's Adventure: Road to Passion" my answer is NO! Is it good, I don't think so... maybe because the main character is seriously OP and the rest of the gang are weakling who you can't teach martial arts and give equipment... Will I suggest this game to you? YES! because I don't want to be the only one regretting this purchase so come join me ang buy this game now!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Character names are translated, it's so stupid. Worse, it's inconsistent when it is and when it's not. Like the dialogue says "my name is Zhu Huorong" but the character window says Wishing Fire Melts. Like wtf seriously fix this ♥♥♥♥!! Bad tl is one thing, translated names are the worst. Worse, this smell like a totally competent human translation. No AI and no machine will translate Zhu Huorong into "Wishing Fire Melts," not even something bad like google tl, this is a human editor with low…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is so buggy and it's incomplete, don't listen to the Youtubers. wait for another year and see if the game dev cares. There are a lot of very basic features need to be complete.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game feels unfinished and somewhat rushed overall. Not only in terms of polishing mechanics, but pretty empty overall. Maybe I missed the point, but after the demo content (leaving home village) I was convinced the main character would get nerfed as part of the story progression - instead, the balance just feels off (and it looks intentional).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is too easy, anything you do does not matter. You are already a Kungfu Master at the start. There is no progression or struggle. No build optimization, nothing matter since you could 2 hits almost anything with any skill any weapon or even basic attacks would still do the job. Thus, bringing a companion or not does not matter when you could do 10x damage when your team mate could only tickle.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game would be so much better if it didn't start with a mega-boost to your character. Even if it was just +50 Internal instead of +100 it would feel a lot better. As is you never have to actually do anything and everything feels boring and bad. You can literally win every single battle just by doing absolutely nothing. Play "Hero's Adventure: Road to Passion" instead as that game is so much better in every way.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game way similar to hero adventure but mc is way to op lol please nerf him, balance his strength at the start and add a new possible way for the companions to get stronger like consuming alchemy pills, can learn martial skills books with some restriction also fix the bad translation. Hoping for more content but this game is blast if u love wuxia genre..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the translations are bad, the games combat is somewhat braindead, and the story is shallow. if you hoped this to be another Heros Adventure (pun intended) its not.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its not good. boring. chars look like flash game designs. everyone looks ugly. the ui is clunky. quests are stupidly bad designed. the idea of being op at start is fresh. bad copy of a hero's adventure. same same but lousy. i rather go back and play that again . played around 30 hrs . 1) i am invincible. i am rich 2) i finally get to wander around jianghu to gather guys , clear my quests , go kill the baddies. 3) lots of bonds done. no impact. nice poems . dont really feel anything for the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This ain't bad. Yes, you can see they had limited resources. Yes, Is instead of yes is funny. But, English exists, fits the boxes, clear enough to play and understand what they saying and follow the plot. Today, this counts as tier A development when it comes to the genre :(. Gameplay is kinda Tales of Wuxia, just less refined. Crafting, alchemy, hunting, mining etc, Turn based fights. Time is important, like in many of those games you need to pick the more efficient use of your…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Im a hard fan of the wuxia genre. I like the game, but its way to easy. I finished my first playthorugh on grandmaster, the only real challange was the last boss. poor progression and lack of insentive to get strong. Hopefully will get better with time and more content. :) keep up the good work devs :) But for now, go play hero's adventure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you want some OP Main Character at the start instead of a weak one like chinese novel it's a must have for those that play heroes adventure ( New Game + equivalent)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is just too easy. I like the style and 20 dollar will get you about 25 hours of play time. Sadly the game lacks replayability, I unlocked almost all the achievement in one run.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game forces you to stop improving at a certain time in the game to purposely make the fights harder than they should be. With no option to improve your character, the game becomes boring. The last fight is idiotic and ridiculous. So contrived and one sided that lost once and uninstalled the game. Not worth going back to try again because you cannot improve your player. Silly combat mechanics and contrived story line make the game a one time play through that it truly not worth your…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rather boring, would not of purchased if I knew how bored I would get. Did I say this is f*cking boring
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fine. Not great, not bad. Just Meh. About 30hours of fun for me. Unless you're a wuxia fan, i wouldn't personally recommend it. But if you are, it's fine. So for that, I don't recommend the game. Translation is fine I guess. For some reason, Demo Translations were better than Live game? Really odd. It's a worst Heroes Adventure in almost all aspects. The being OP, even in GM difficulty goes away after you're out of the first set of quests in the city. But otherwise, the game is fairly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is aight but a bit boring. No real reason to do more than one run unless you like endings.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good power-fantasy Wuxia rpg. The translation to English is decent. The game is extremely stable (never seen a crash) and I find it to be way better than other comments seem to imply. Maybe they've selected a difficulty that was too low for their taste, but the difficulty choices are quite varied, so it seems to me that you just need to choose the correct one for what you'd like the gameplay to be. There's extreme freedom in what you can do. You can either befriend everybody or just kill…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well it may not as good as Hero's Adventure and Wandering Swords, I fulfills something that both of those games doesn't have and that is I can potentially make my Main Character a literal god.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now this feels like you're the main character. Edit: I've put in more hours now. Very different than your other wuxia games. Main character is OP from the beginning so you can literally make whatever build you want I think they could have made the game more engaging if we had more control over side character growth (there are mechanics involved in growing side characters but it's pretty abstract and the game doesn't really explain how).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Againn an amazing chinese wuxia game that i played, i enjoyed this alot, the story, music and art are amazingg, all the woman are etherally beatiful ehem harem, when else can i be on top of the wulin from the start, get all the woman and bounties, it is not the usual where you start from nobody and crawl to top but you start from powerful, handsome, on top suddenly haha and its refreshing though i agree that no need for replayability because we can finish all nook and cranny of the quest on 1st…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great concept to play Wuxiao game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, story could improve better.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, fantastic wuxia story. I love all the characters and the freedom/carefree theme.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is fun. Has a lot of potential hope they continue to polish the English translation and updating the game with features.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game just wish English was a bit more worked on
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good but have potential to be much better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty decent wuxia game for the price, but the translation is seemingly done by machine translation as seen when someone is talking about themselves or someone else.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crashed right at the end. Is this symbolic of the futile pursuit of power?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish the story was longer, but I still had a great time playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite an interesting game I might say, more on sect affair management at the first 20+ hours. Cultivate, do sect affair, romance, add skills. When im at 27hrs gameplay, suddenly the world open after I became the Master Alliance. woohoo. Will keep playing more. If you like management game, and cultivation game. I would recommend this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good if you can cope with the machine translation and are not put off by OP protagonists. The story is about what you do with the power, not about getting the power. Also you still need to train, there are enemies that are more powerful than what MC is at the start of the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disgusting, won't play even for free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a must play for wuxia fans
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game, the story is well written, Suitable for anyone who enjoy xianxia novels!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool wuxia/xianxia game. Similar to Hero's Adventure and Wandering Sword, however instead of starting off as a scrub and working your way up - You start the game by inheriting the power of the no. 1 martial artist, the game is in a way a 'sect simulator' where once you get into the meat, start passing time doing activities in 10 day increments. Whilst heavily OP at the start, I have had some fights where I've had to hold off until I get stronger. Interesting story so far, translation…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is decent but there are few big problems one is quest system should have better hints also places the player has already visited we should be able to quick travel or select then so that the mc arrived their on his own. Apart from this you should do all side quest and check each place when you are given free roam in places because if you don't you will be confused as the game acts like you have meet various people this should be fixed asap. I didn't meet the beggar sect leader on my…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Runs very smooth on my trash laptop. Game is good so far
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of a few good and immersive sect management and wuxia games. Developers add fixes and QOL quickly. English translation is ok.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has quite interesting premise: Did you read all these cool modern wuxia novels where MC is OP etc? Then try finally play as one That's overall good idea and initial tutorial village shows you could do whatever you want to be hero or not. But unfortunately game quite falls off as it becomes more shallow as time goes on. The bits are all there, but story lacks certain polish and substance so it feel lacking in a lot of aspects Still while execution itself is lacking, the ability to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm enjoying it so far. There's definitely a lot that can be improved but it looks like they are still actively adding to the game. They just released a patch that addressed some QoL concerns such as faster movement and sorting manuals by learned/unlearned.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended for those players looking for a different take on the traditional martial arts cultivation game. Instead of starting out weak, you start out strong and spend the game restoring your sect. You make allies and chose enemies. You can play upright and good, or you can play evil and bad- or any combination in between. The translation is decent. Playable, but not perfect. The game is stable. Haven't had any crashes. Combat is turn based or auto. You learn skills, active and passive,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you play on normal mode, you'll be One-Punch Man from the beginning of the game almost until the final battle. It's boring. I feel like there's no character development other than fighting and life skills, but that's the storyline, so I understand. It may not be as good as Hero's Adventure and Wandering Swords, but I want to encourage the developers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game Martial Arts, Wuxia, turned based rpg with great story Good character creation for stats If you like Hero rpg then you should love this too
