I'm not even that deep into that game but honestly at this point I don't know if I'll continue, because woooow this game has problems. The main problem is just, baked into the game. Jumping. Is a resource. You instantly fail on that merit alone, but then that's not where the problems end. For one, it's buggy as heck. Randomly getting stuck on corners or terrain? Oh yeah. Bounce pads that don't work right and both …

This neon-infused platformer tests your nerves by forcing you to sprint non-stop or literally explode. The high-speed drifting and jumping feel great when you are locked into a clean flow state. Unfortunately, brutal difficulty spikes and frustrating restart loops turn what should be an adrenaline rush into a tedious trial-and-error chore.

RAZED Just a small servant to an uncaring master, its up to our polygonal little protagonist to make his escape from the oppressive program which contains him. If you like a challenge then this game is worth the money. The levels are evil and will kill you over and over again, but lives are unlimited and respawns are instant so there's no real downtime between deaths. Even when it's frustrating the game is never boring, it constantly keeps the pressure on and successful runs through destructible environments look and feel amazing. Value for money is good, you get 60 levels …

Damn this game is good. Razed is a beautiful game about speed and momentum. There ist 100% no break button. Plan your jumps, time your jumps and stick the landing - keep your momentum - Jump again. The more you play, the more you develope a sense of flow and every route you take through the levels just washes you through like a jet stream. Can't remember having such a blast with a game for a long time. The game …

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game at the core has a lot going for it: Clean visuals, speedrunning tools, humor, and challenge. But the core gameplay is lackluster. Sometimes I feel like I'm going through molasses with the running and other times I just feel easperated from the hitboxes. The game is very wonky with air physics and collision physics as well. 2.5/5 at most

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the 3D Sonic game I've always wanted! I'm only into world 2 but I'm having a blast! It's got that "One more go" feel to it, reminds me of super meat boy a little in that respect. I dont think the game would be as enjoyable without a realy responsive retry, thankfully the developers seem to have nailed it. I've still got a long way to go but so far It's great! Hopfully Tails and Knuckles will show up before the end XD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RAZED is a fun, but slightly flawed, parkour speedrunner. You race through 66 short obstacle courses, unlocking new abilities (such as jumping and wall-running) which can be upgraded as you progress. Running slowly (or stopping) and using abilities will drain your energy meter, while going fast and picking up gems will refill it. When your energy meter reaches 0, you explode. I see some of the other reviews mentioning limited jumping as minus, but to me it's a plus, as it means you have to…

neutral · AI labelView post →Initially I had a positive review written despite some pretty obvious flaws. But once I got to the 4th world and the difficulty started to ramp up, the previous flaws started to get extremely annoying to the point that I stopped enjoying the game. #1 - The entire upgrade system is extremely stupid and unnecessary. The upgrades are presented as optional, but they are very much mandatory to some degree. However, not only are the upgrades mandatory, but some of the upgrades can not be reached…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a lot like "Stay Safe", if you've played that. You go fast through short, difficult levels and quickly restart repeatedly to try to improve your times. Simply finishing the levels is enjoyable though, if you aren't into speedrunning. Each stage has a hidden powerup, and collecting three of a set decreases the cost of one of your abilities. Oh yeah, "cost". The gimmick of the game is that you must keep running to charge your energy. Running out of energy means failure. Each of your…

I also really enjoy all of the different mechanics and the level layouts. The game def doesn't get boring. In fact it has a lot of replayability. When you get shoe upgrades you'll want to go back and see what new routes are possible on old levels. However, the physics leave a bit to be desired. You can see in my video review several times where I got stuck on…

neutral · AI labelView post →I really didn't enjoy this game. I haven't even completed it. RAZED has a really interesting concept, its basically a platformer with resource management. Your character has an energy bar that if it depletes fully will explode you. Running and special gem pickups littered about stages are the only way to replete it. Anytime not spent running however the bar depletes. This of course means that using special abilities depletes it, but most interestingly the jump or even just falling off of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game, the difficulty ramps up nicely and it's easy to find that the time flies by as you work out the best way through the levels. The controls are responsive ,ans the soundtrack keeps up with the fast paced action throughout! It's great to play, and to go back and try to beat those scores as you progress through the levels. The inclusion of boss levels give a real sense of achievement as you move on through the game! Definately recommend a controller, but it's equally playable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have this game on console and i really enjoyed it so i got it on Steam too. Not sure why there's bad reviews on Steam, i guess some people struggle with the controls. After completing the game and getting A ranks on them all it will unlock the last few extra levels. These levels when completed will unlock unlimited boost so it makes getting S ranks much easier. You can 100% the game and get all achievements in around 6 hours. 8/10 fun to just pick up and play. Buy on sale for $1
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RAZED is an arcade-focused 3D platformer that treats movement itself as a race. Developed by Warpfish Games and published by PQube, it revolves around completing compact obstacle courses at increasingly ridiculous speeds. Rather than encouraging players to carefully explore every corner, the game constantly pushes them forward. Every jump, turn, shortcut, and ability becomes part of the pursuit of a faster completion time, creating an experience that feels somewhere between a precision…

neutral · AI labelView post →Imprecise and sometimes unresponsive controls yet still requires pixel perfect precision. there are frequent clipping through the floor and getting stuck in place randomly type bugs, and using abilities like drift which is required in many scenarios is just a game of dice; works one in six times. The game looks cool and plays well at the beginning then it quickly gets ruined by bugs and bad gameplay design unfortunately

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy this game and encourage you to pick it up and try it for yourself. Think sonic the hedgehog, but 3d and far more ways to die. Smooth and clean graphics and great soundtrack. Pros: Feel like a boss when you finally crush level Get lots of p*ssy when you finally crush level Replay value No level is too difficult, yet offers a new and unique challenge Engaging antagonist(s), (Right shoe counts, I have a bad feeling about that one) Multiple niche in game mechanics you discover while…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got given a copy of this game and have been absolutly loving the time I have put into it so far. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is... an uncut gem. Brilliant at the core, yet unpolished. The vibe is absolutely wonderful, with wonderful stylized visuals and an energetic if somewhat repetitive soundtrack. The energy meter and unforgiving level design combine to create a platformer similar to games such as Super Meat Boy in how you must play them; repeatedly dying until you figure out how to beat the level. The "upgrade" system is somewhat baffling at first, though it seems the intention is to encourage…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun. I enjoyed the platforming challenges. A good solid 8 hours if you're not going for perfect ranks. Sometimes buggy when you get stuck on edges, but not too annoying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is hard. Not sure what I am doing wrong on 1-4 but hopefully one day I figure it out. Definitely a game for people who want a puzzle game with action. Odd situation where I can't exit the game through a proper menu and hopefully this will be fixed but from what I can tell the game hasn't been worked on / patched in awhile. With all that said only purchase this when there is a deep discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the concept. Love the execution. Love the graphics. This game is lovely. The main point for me is the gameplay, it's just fun. I like challenging platformers and the challenge added by restricting your abilites works great imo. It's just fun. The artstyle is pretty nice, nothing too complicated, but pretty to look at.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick Description: -Razed is a brightly colored futuristic platformer that demands that you to never stop moving. This game looks really cool visually, but completely falls apart fundamentally. Not only are you limited in the frequency that you jump or use abilities, but just turning a corner feels really odd. Razed shoots itself in the foot by making the basic mechanics so unintuitive and tedious, so this is not a game I can recommend to anyone. What's Good: -The visuals are the star and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game makes me sad. I really want to give the devs the classic "I'm not mad, just disappointed" spiel. All the pieces of a good speedrun game are there, but restrictive level design and wonky physics (getting stuck on walls, getting turned 90 degrees for scraping your knee on anything) made me quit before finishing the final world. All this game needed was a bit more time in the playtesting oven and I would easily recommend RAZED, but as it is now there are way better games worth your time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a lot of issues with game first day it was out but reinstalled a couple days later and it seems fine now. Game is decent if you have a controller.
