What players are saying
Counted from the reviewers’ own thumbs up/down on the 22 English Steam reviews we collected, not by the AI. Valve’s all-language rating: Mostly Positive (52 of 69 positive).
Players praise the faster, tighter gameplay and new mechanics like the queue system. [1][2][3] Some reviewers find the game too simple or reliant on fast clicking. [4][5][6] Several players dislike the changes from previous titles, calling it the worst in the series. [7][8][9]

Hum... kinda meh! This is a time management game. The graphics are a bit outdated, and the music is irrelevant. The story is simple and not a big deal. No bugs or crashes. Overall, it's entertaining but a lesser sequel. There are some new twists, but nothing special. Some levels are excessively difficult to beat on time and seem to rely on fast clicking rather than strategic gameplay—way too fast clicking for a …

I don't care for a lot of the changes made in the third installment, and ultimately didn't enjoy playing it nearly as much as the previous two. Pros- -Firemen & Policemen are a nice addition -Treating animals was a nice change of pace -The fire spreading through wood debris that endangers civilians adds to the excitement Cons- -Villagers needing to be assigned over and over again to the same buildings are tedious …

Short version: 82% Rescue Team 3’s revitalised formula—including faster, tighter gameplay and especially its sarcastic storyline—elevates it far above many similar time management games. Long version: Rescue Team 3 is a sequel that changes things around, and changes them a fair bit. On the surface, it may not be apparent, as gameplay-wise it is the same time manager game as the rest of the series. We use a bunch of …

The first in the Rescue Team series that tries something new. The graphics have received an overhaul over the previous two titles, the game features a story which can be amusing, but I skipped over it most of the time as I found it a distraction, and the map design has been changed from a pathing system to something more open. Overall, initially the changes were unwelcome after playing the first two games, but once …

I picked up this game in a bundle with the first two titles in the series, and it was well worth it. If you've played the earlier two games, you'll appreciate the improvements made in this version. The traditional obstacles and pickups are there, but now there's a queue for when you have multiple objects to collect at once. The result is that you're no longer frantically clicking to make sure your worker runs out as …

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rescue Team 3 is an enjoyable time/resource management game and the third game of the series. You collect resources, repair buildings and roads, and remove debris. You also rescue the residents. It's a fun game and you should get it if you are a fan of the genre.

Not mentioned in the description, but it includes cards. There are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rescue Team 3 is a pointless "12 Labours of Hercules" screen tapper/clicker game. There's no gameplay, just tapping on the screen. The game is made to look like you're making interesting decisions as you're presented with a map of a town/village/pathway that has you clicking on various things to collect things which are then consumed when you click on an obstacle, which unlocks more things to click on. This is so lame and shallow, you could write a script to randomly click the screen and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Out of all of the Rescue Team games, this is my least favourite. Game is significantly different than the two previous and definitely not as interesting as the later game levels.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Game to play!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simplistic and entertaining enough to pass the time. This third installment adds a bit to the graphics and a few new things to do compared to previous in the series, so that was nice. Overall, the game is a casual play through that is only really challenging if you want to get a Gold rating on the levels, which I didn't want to, so I just relaxed and enjoyed my time! Campaign took me roughly 3.75 hrs. Not very polished but wasn't expecting it to be. 7 out of 10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →6/10 This is not a 'micro manage your community' style game, although it looks like one at first. I wanted to enjoy this game because I love micro managing little communities, upgrading structures, collecting supplies and all that typical stuff you expect from a game like this. But it is way too simple and there aren't any real options that seem to change the gameplay by any noteworthy amount. Really, the only thing that might be different on a second play through is how fast I complete each…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →short and sweet :) relaxing too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much harder than the previous two games. It seems that they have given us fewer levels but made them harder to compensate. I finished the game in 3 hours but didn't get gold time on many of the levels. For many of them I had no real interest in replaying the level to get gold, as I couldn't really see how I could do better. There is also no meta progression in this game unlike the last two. There is a new mechanic that allows you to selectively generate extra resources. In my opinion the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Right off the bat, the game has black bars on both sides. I thought this would be an issue but to my surprise I immediately looked past it because of how well the game is utilized within those black bars and you'll know what I'm talking about. I do like the changes(so far) the game has made and I'll update this review once I invest more time into it. Liking it so far and I do recommend it at fifty cents(what I pay for all these games).
