Was good before the challenges update! Very fun, and would have recommended it as a great game to 100%! Challenges are good in concept, but in execution they're ok at best and awful at worst. Is it weird to say a game about luck has challenges too reliant on luck? Looking at you, Print Error. Also, one of my favorite features was the auto-scratching feature. It's not very easy to scratch tickets on the Steam Deck, …

This was a really fun and cute game. As a person who has some disabilities, I LOVE the fact they include a "Click and Hold" option so I can avoid repetitive movements. I would not have been able to play otherwise, so that's awesome.

Way more addictive than it should be. At its core you’re just scratching lottery tickets over and over, but the game somehow turns that into a full-on loop that’s hard to put down. There’s always that feeling that the next card might be the one that pops off. It starts slow with the whole day job plate washing thing just to get some money, but once the scratch cards and upgrades kick in, it becomes this constant …

Let's be honest - who here decided to get this game after watching Markiplier play it today? Definitely an addictive game!

Holy hell, what a monumental waste of my time. 10/10 I ain't stoppin till i get all the achievements.

84% of the 334 Steam reviewers we collected recommend Scritchy Scratchy. The complaint that keeps coming up: becomes repetitive after automation. Deal-breaker or nitpick?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a hard one to recommend. Don't get me wrong, it's extremely fun. It's addicting. There's nothing that can compare to the thrill of getting those early jackpots. But eventually this game becomes very stale. The gameplay loop is one that sorta devolves over time. At first you manually scratch cards, getting that wondrous satisfaction of successful gambling. But then you unlock automation. And there's no real incentive to go back to manually scratching. You'll never be near as productive…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →chill idle game, but be careful with the cat, he can easily get you into debts
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →all fun and games til you go in $48,000,000 in debt on a single 300k ticket. realism is 10/10 fs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every tiny win feels like winning the lottery. Every loss feels like “okay but next one for sure.” The game respects your time by consuming all of it efficiently. Sleep is optional. Food is negotiable. Scritchy Scratchy is forever. My wife said it was “me or the game.” im going to miss her, but atleast i have my deskfan. ⭐ 10/10 - i look forward to addons
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game so fun it made me realize I have a gambling addiction, 10/10 definitely would recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7/10. Thank ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god gambling in real life doesn't appeal to me in the slightest so I only lose brain cells playing games like this and not all my money (The soundtrack in this game had no reason to be that good)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Delightful little game! Its about 7 hours to reach the ending, and around 20+ hours for full completion. I was lucky enough to be able to play test it for the past few weeks. The devs of this game have been so responsive to the community.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy cow is this game addictive… That is all that needs to really be said. I thought for a few bucks it would be some mindless fun. Over ten hours later and still addicted. They have some wonderful accessibility features too if you have wrist pain or hand pain so you don’t need to keep clicking. Just go into the settings to change the default. I thank the devs for these features and my arthritis-ridden hands thank them too! The premise is basic. Scratch lotto cards, earn money and buy more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are getting to be quite a few games that take a simple, casual game idea and add "but you can die." There's poker but you can die, solitaire but you can die, roulette and slot machines but you can die, photosynthesis but you can die, and now, if you're still not dead enough, lottery tickets but you can die. Other than the dying, Scritchy Scratchy is a typical incremental game. You start out washing dishes for chump change, but are soon drawn to the promise of easy money in scratch off…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What are some good incremental games on Android?. I'm open to options, but I'd especially like to find some that have some sort of real-time, directly controlled primary loop (rather than clicker, or autobattler or that). Basically, while I want it to be an incremental game, I'd still like it to feel like there is a satisfying primary loop. Also, obvious I'd like to avoid anything pay to win or reliant on microtransactions. Edit: clarification on primary loop Edit 2: games in the same style…
neutral · AI labelView post →Winning basically the universe and then going back to washing dishes is the catharsis that I needed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've watched the trailer then you've pretty much played the game. With all the good reviews I thought there would be something more interesting to this. It's a well enough made game, there's some annoying choices like unnecessary zooming in and the automation kicking in later than you would actually want, You you can have fun with it, There just really isn't much choice or anything interesting, nothing to optimize, no subversions on theme. Decent game but I just really wouldn't recommend…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I beat the game and got to the credits in 8 hours. 8 hours of crack for $5 is a winner in my book. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game and worth the money, but I wish there was a little bit more to do in the game. More gadgets, more cosmetics (especially for the Scratch box), more catalogues, and maybe add a slot machine or a roulette table? Would recommend, 9.99/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw Markiplier play this game and it scratches (ha) an itch. Very satisfying. I hope this game gets more content, this is gonna be my new interest for quite a while lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished with Scritchy Scratchy and honestly, it’s super overhyped. It’s an okay time-killer, but it’s literally just like every other idle game out there. After a short bit, everything gets automated and you end up just letting it run in the background while doing actual work or watching videos. It's totally fine as a background idle clicker, but don't expect anything mind-blowing or revolutionary.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I gambled, had to take out a loan, and went back to washing dishes to pay it off.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What are your favorite video games that feel like gambling but are not gambling games?. I mean "not gambling games" very strictly, this post is intended to be about games that give the aesthetic, impulsive feedback and addictively risky gameplay feel of gambling without actually being gambling meaning that either the games are free or you buy them and keep them, no microtransaction crap tolerated in this thread at all. I think it is very unethical to *actually* make a gambling video game, so…
neutral · AI labelView post →This game scratches my itch for scratch off tickets and helps me not to buy them on the gas station.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable clicker scratch off game! Important Note: This is NOT an idle game, it's meant to be actively played through. Idling won't get you much. I went on to get 100% achievements, which are relatively easy to obtain. Scratch, win, scratch, win, scratch go into debt?, rage, reset, scratch, win, scratch, win, die?, reset, scratch, win, win, win, win it all!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do NOT buy this game. It will make you addicted and you will not be able to stop playing!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scritchy Scratchy is an interesting game at first, and it works well as a relaxing, low-effort experience. The problem is that after a while, it falls into a loop where the same things keep happening over and over again. If you are aiming for 100% achievements, the repetition becomes very noticeable and, after some time, it starts to lose its charm. There is still a chance this could improve with a future update, especially once the challenge content is added, but in its current state the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →was wondering if there was a Christmas countdown type scratch card like there is here in Denmark got to catalog 3 and found one. Noticed it had 24 days on it rather than 25, just like advent calendars here in Denmark, wondered if dev was scandinavian went to see and yup, dev is in Denmark. I guessed the dev's country from a single advent calendar. Also, played the demo on itch and liked it enough to buy the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool idle game It quickly devolves into speedrunning getting the fan and the rest of the items to not do anything as fast as possible but still Kinda wish that it was more than that but I guess it's fun to see in action and it's still a nice twist on the usual clicker formula
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →April went by quite fast! I've not played any big games this month (apart from more WoW :P ) but I have played some smaller, charming indies!! My personal favorite was Scritchy Scratchy, a very fun incremental game with a unique concept and an interesting story! #pixel #pixelart #scritchyscratchy
positive · AI labelView post →there needs to be a way to make a lot more JP once you're done the story. In order to get all the skill maxed out I had to do like 10 extra runs that added absolutely nothing to the experience. It's just "do this super mindless thing over and over again for no reason to get all the achievement" Maybe let us trade the extra ticket of the night market for JP? 1 ticket for 10 JP or something? Still an ok game for this genre though. For the price it's worth it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you like gambling? las vegas is nothing, here it is, endless gambling for the price of a cup of coffee,.!! with some crazy curves. cool stuff!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it was fun but then hey updated, challenges suck, RNG locked achievements are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyed playing the game Scritchy Scratchy. Very addictive, and a good stream game as well, I'd say.
positive · AI labelView post →It's a no from me. It's another incremental number goes up clicker except you scratch as well as click. I kept playing because I wanted it to be finished not because I wanted to see where it goes. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the game. And I don't like giving this negative review but I need to be honest. There's nothing happening in the game that you don't see in the trailer. So if that looks good to you then please go for it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In its current state it's a 6/10 for me, but still worth a recommendation since it's so cheap. I think this is a very cool concept, and the execution is decent, but imo it doesn't go far enough into the experimental mechanics that would be a natural fit for the theme. Instead, the game defaults more and more to a "basic" idle game mechanics with some themed visuals. Hope the devs overhaul some things, and this could be a gem. Pros: - Unique theme; I especially liked the different scratch…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Edit: My smooth chud brain referenced GTA 4 and not 6 with the wrong roman numeral. A very fun, active incremental game. 100%ing the game can get a bit tedious, but the first few runs and the bits and pieces of the narrative justified it for me. If I could play this game for the first time again or have GTA VI come out tomorrow, I would pick the former. TLDR: Dopamine maxxing with scratchers. Highly recommended for any incremental fan or anyone considering picking them up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw the demo I installed it Played the game It was fun Waited for 4 days for the full release (refreshing the page like a maniac) After release, I bought the game (no thoughts, head empty, only buy) Played it for 9 hours straight (stood up once, forgot why, sat back down) I think it's a little bit addictive (this is no longer a game, this is my life now)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finished the game, unlocked all the achievements and eventually uninstalled it. All in all, I’d recommend it, but after a few rounds the gameplay gets pretty repetitive. There isn’t much variety to keep things fresh, so after a while (once you’ve got the hang of the basics), the only motivation to keep playing is unlocking achievements on Steam, which makes the game rather boring.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very unique idler game. Honestly had a good time with it and it was a pretty good experience to 100%. However, some things to note: - midgame gets pretty stale and the general game loop definitely isnt for everyone - needs a lot more content, customization options feel like added padding for example - bugs while scratching ( cursor doesnt go back to normal and you can't press anything unless you quit to main menu ) - some prestige upgrades are fairly useless Overall I think the game isn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little clicker/incremental with one minus point : the ability to buy tickets in bulk should be an accessibility option, not a gameplay mechanic. Even with the ability to buy in bulk I've used a macro because spam clicking is not fun anymore (imo). To the developper: - Maybe add a [Buy MAX] option? So the game try to buy as much tickets as possible and would be stopped with the current player's money or the max place on the table. - Once a prestige tier has been unlocked please stop…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I scritchy-scratchied myself into generational debt multiple times, 10/10 worth it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its pretty fun... at the beginning... i like when these exponential games last more than 5 hours (sometimes they last even less) but this one DOES NOT have the content for how long it takes to finish. this one should have ended after 6 or 7 hours, it just stretched on and on and on and the prestige system does not help it not get stale, you get obligatory earlier automation and it is not cheap, like you have a choice between triplicating your money gained or getting earlier automation and the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →rating: 3/5 got 100% completion in under 20hrs, but i know someone who did it in under 12… still wondering what i did wrong to be that slow lol great game overall. it’s a bit long because it gets repetitive af, but if you’re into idle/basic grinding games, watching all your skills grow keeps you hooked until you finish everything also, i don’t think i fully completed the game yet because there’s still a locked section. since it’s a pretty new game, i’m guessing more updates and content…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You'd think this would be another Idle-slop game the Steam store is showered with, but you'd be wrong. Scritchy Scratchy has good ideas, good execution and keeps you scratching like mad all the way through.

neutral · AI labelView post →This game blew up from how satisfying and fun it is to play. It has a darker underlying plot behind the gameplay, but all you do is scratch up tickets that could give you more money or cost you money. You add lots of upgrades, purchase little machines to help you do the scratching, prestige, and do it all over again. I absolutely could not stop playing while it was happening, and it's one of my favorite incremental games. My only con was I experienced a bug on steam deck and asked the devs…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Scritchy Scratchy is an addicting scratch-off ticket game that gets more fun the more you unlock. It’s simple, relaxing, and easy to sink hours into once the progression starts opening up. What I Enjoyed The core loop is addictive. Scratching tickets is satisfying on its own, and it gets better as you unlock more options (upgrades and gadgets to help with scratching) and a bigger variety of tickets. The new challenges added a nice extra layer and helped lead to a “happier” ending (sort…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who has literally never won anything on a scratch-off (or any other "chance game"); I have to say.... I bought this for around the price of a low-tier lottery scratch-off...... It's got better odds, a more fulfilling experience, and a much better pay-out....and there's no reminder in the trashcan later of your disappointment, wasted dreams, and toxic hopes. ...just the slight hope on my hard drive that I could achieve such dreams... Then, much like actual gambling, the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was fun for a few hours… and then it just went downhill for me. After a while it started feeling more like a chore than a game. It honestly reminded me of Gemporium - super repetitive to the point where the fun just evaporates. You’re basically doing the exact same thing over and over again to finish the story, and the novelty wears off fast. The achievements don’t help either. Some of them are ridiculously tedious and SO boring, especially when the gameplay loop is already…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game STARTS out really fun and addictive but it seriously soured for me after 2-3 hours in a way that I wasn't expecting after playing the demo. It just becomes like every other incremental game with slow, boring progression, switching into primarily an idle game that isn't nearly idle enough for me to actually want to continue playing. In this game, you can either manually scratch lottery tickets, or you can feed them to the automated scratcher bot. The robot becomes much faster after a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best idle/clicker game since cookie clicker
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →C tier incremental game, the sound design and scratching tickets is satisfying Game is roughly 30-40% too long to earn the achievements, since about 3-4 of the last runs to 100% don't have any changes. Not a lot of content but I thought the tickets were cute
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's insane to me that I've become addicted to this damn rogue like scratch off ticket game, Scritchy Scratchy
positive · AI labelView post →This game has a cute aesthetic but if you've played a few idle games before then this one doesn't add anything novel. No paradigm shifts, automation feels late and then quickly trivializes the game. Overall, not bad for the price but couldn't recommend to anyone.
