Do not buy this version of the game, get Treasure Trove when it's on sale instead. Treasure Trove is barely more expensive when it's on sale and comes with this game and the others. If you buy this version you will end up buying it again if you want to play the other games.

Fantastic game. Great music, great art style, just awesome. Here are some of the flaws in my opinion (Mainly applies to those who haven't played this genre much) 1. Shovel Knight dies instantly from spikes. I feel that the spikes should do double damage but not kill you. I know this may seem way too lenient on the player but it is very frustrating to fall into spikes after getting knockback damage from halfway …

Although there are some moments were I was having a rough time with this game, it was overall a really fun game. It's short and its sweet. After watching Indie cross I was interested to playing this game and I don't regret it. 8.5/10

If you could buy Plague of Shadows as an add-on to Shovel of Hope, I wouldn't have problems recommending the game. I don't feel is correct to lock up a DLC of a game in a bundle. As of now, I've spent 13 hours playing the game so I can't refund the Shovel Knight Standalone Bundle to instead buy Treasure Trove. For me, it's mind blowing…
