neutral · AI labelView post →"Quantum of Solace" is so well named. It's a movie where you can either know what speed James Bond is moving at, or his location and the direction he's moving in, but never both.
negative · AI labelView post →In my opinion, Skyfall is the best Bond film of all time. In terms of Craig film rankings, it’s followed by Casino Royale, No Time To Die, Spectre and Quantum Of Solace.
negative · AI labelView post →With Amazon now owning the production rights and control of the Bond series, I wanna preemptively congratulate Quantum of Solace for no longer being the worst film in the series.
negative · AI labelView post →Moonraker is not even CLOSE to the worst Bond movie. Quantum of Solace License to Kill and yes, No Time to Die All stinkeroos
negative · AI labelView post →1. Quantum of Solace is good 2. The movie series should just end 3. Y'all want faithful movie adaptations of the novels up until Odd Job is eating a cat and Bond is having extended conversations with Dikko about Tatar blood.

neutral · AI labelView post →Just watched a film on SBS, called Solace, originally slated as a sequel to Seven, but ended up being a stand alone, completely sailed under the radar, Hopkins, Morgan, Farrell, Cornish - really well done psychological police thriller.
positive · AI labelView post →Quantum Of Solace is such a forgettable Bond movie... but the oil girl awakened something in me.
negative · AI labelView post →"It's like Quantum of Solace" is perhaps one of the most scathing comments you can make about a movie.
neutral · AI labelView post →Dipped into my Anytime Movies list with TTYD and MCV. Confirmed Quantum of Solace is a 007 film I don't enjoy much. Sorry/Not Sorry was so-so, but hearing from Louis CK's accusers felt important. My Letterboxd: boxd.it/88Din #lastfourwatched #letterboxdfriday #letterboxd #filmsky #films #movies 📽️🍿
negative · AI labelView post →That's how my top 5 goes, too! BUT THE REAL FUN'S IN FIGURING THE 3 WORST BOND SONGS "Die Another Day." Easily the worst, just as awful as Shirley Bassey's work is god-tier. "Another Way to Die," Quantum of Solace. A jarring mess. "A View to a Kill." Better fitting for a Friday the 13th movie?
neutral · AI labelView post →Treyarch was hired to make a Quantum of Solace game to come out with the movie’s release and they were given extremely vague plot points and how the movie would end, so 10/15 of the levels of the game are just James flashbacking to Casino Royale.
neutral · AI labelView post →Dunno how I feel about the Bond news. I quite enjoyed the Craig Era, apart from Quantum of Solace, but the fact that it takes SO long to get a film out, so many publicised writer disputes and rewrites, and so long every time to cast a new actor for a character that's not actually that complicated...
negative · AI labelView post →Let’s look at that moment in Quantum of Solace, the one moment that did not happen in any other James Bond movie, that of sweeping air #filmsky 📽️
neutral · AI labelView post →I misread "Quantum of Solace" as "Quantum of Shoelace" and to be frank, that probably would've been a more interesting film.

Wild Things, my friend's sister saw a guy jacking off to this movie in theaters lol, hot movie with lots of twists and turns. Quantum of Solace, was on TV at my parents, good action.

neutral · AI labelView post →Quantum of Solace is a good film and the opera sequence is absolutely stunning.
positive · AI labelView post →Don’t care what anybody says, still absolutely love Quantum of Solace the shortest Bond movie with proportionally the most action entirely about how Bond is a bad secret agent because he can’t stop murdering people
positive · AI labelView post →Knives Out is Casino Royale, Glass Onion is Quantum of Solace, Wake Up Dead Man is Skyfall Also, Josh Brolin coming for Sean Penn as most demonic white man in a movie this year
neutral · AI labelView post →Omg. I watched the latest Peacemaker earlier, and tonight, I randomly decided to watch the movie Solace, which I'd never seen. I spotted something. They used the same "kid's" sculpture as a prop. WHAT??? These are 10 years apart!! And it's such a random item!

neutral · AI labelView post →as an aside, i always thought it was perplexing that people guffawed at how the villain of Quantum of Solace was trying to steal a water supply. That movie has *plenty* other problems with pacing and character etc, but the villain's plot really isn't one of them!

neutral · AI labelView post →would like to inform you that Varang was in Quantum of Solace. more evidence that it's actually the second-best Daniel Craig Bond movie.
positive · AI labelView post →Finally watched my first James Bond movie. Casino Royale was solid, but Quantum of Solace disappointed bigly. Spider-Man was awesome. positive · AI labelView post →22 - Quantum of Solace- Probably the most bored I’ve been watching a Bond film. I think the concept is an interesting one, but the direction feels very off. It doesn’t flow well. Worst Bond song I’ve heard as well. 1.5/10

neutral · AI labelView post →I love these two minutes from Quantum of Solace, a scene that elevates the entire movie in my mind’s eye. Just for a moment, it’s as if Cattet and Forzani did a John Wick movie (before C&F made features, and before John Wick existed). Only good!

neutral · AI labelView post →I rewatched, Quantum of Solace (2008). Daniel Craig’s second Bond film and it’s basically a continuation of Casino Royale, which for some reason bothered a lot critics. It’s regarded as his worst Bond film, which I think is ludicrous. This my second favorite Craig film. Short running time is great.
positive · AI labelView post →“Homicide Himbo” would be a great title for a Bond movie. Better than “Quantum of Solace” at least.

neutral · AI labelView post →Quantum of Solace is still a favorite Bond movie for me, nit perfect but a damn good sequel
positive · AI labelView post →When I was a kid I got the sheet music for Scott Joplin's "Solace" (composed and adapted by Marvin Hamlisch for the film) to play on the piano. I had a big crush on Paul Newman back then. 😂 Joplin's music helped make that 1977 film (and 1981's Ragtime) truly memorable. youtu.be/Pod_Rwrx_q0?...
neutral · AI labelView post →oh it even came out during the gap between Quantum of Solace and Skyfall when there should've been another Bond film, lol
neutral · AI labelView post →People shit all over Quantum of Solace but they really shouldn't because *that* film presented a model of how to make a "regular" Bond film moving forward. Instead Skyfall came along and suddenly every Bond film had to be the most special one ever where all the secrets are revealed. Franchise death.
