For a game that sells itself as a comedy, its sense of humor isn't very good. With lines like: "I can't wait to post about this about on facebook" or the Bubsy-eqsue "I will move in a predictable circular pattern". Or lines that feel like they come from a bad newgrounds video like "Incidents are my least-favourite thing right now." Simultaneously very of its time, and kinda bottom of the barrel for that time. One of my favorite games of all time, way too underground. I've tried looking for the soundtrack on YouTube or Lets plays on YouTube and I barely found anything. This game needs far more recognition I love it so much. The story is great, the puzzles are amazing, the humor is ten outta ten. I love it.

The game’s paper-craft, sticker-peeling aesthetic is wonderfully creative, and using Ray’s giant psychic noodle arm to read minds and slap stickers on environments makes for some clever puzzles. However, the gameplay loop quickly devolves into repetitive trial-and-error that kills the pacing. While the platforming is serviceable, the frustrating stealth segments feel completely out of place and bring the narrative …

I picked this up on sale without a clue about it, and I enjoyed most everything about the gameplay. - loved the art style and environments - the voice acting was very well done. I hate defending Valve and their recent statement about the lawsuit is super flimsy but I'm genuinely ashamed at the amount of people still wanting to Stick It To The Man by defending a claim that was immediately outed as a "video game causes violence" trojan horse when the news first broke out

Game Review: Stick It to The Man Rating: 7/10 Stick It to The Man is a quirky and fun platformer that dares to be different. Its unique blend of dark humor, engaging puzzles, and a playful art style sets it apart from many games in its genre. Stick it to The Man is a console ported 2D retro platformer with paper cutout art style and a grappling hook gimmick (represented by the giant hand coming out of your paper cutout mans head). As far as console ported platformers go, the art style is okay and it runs well on modern PCs. The grappling hook gimmick on the other hand is completely annoying to use and not a lot of fun at all. It seems to have been designed specifically to make console peasants contort their hands on their…

A pretty casual mashup of 2d platforming with simple point & click adventure style puzzles. The story is a fever dream of a brain damaged hard hat tester that gets hit in the head one time too many and finds himself with strange powers. Art style is a flat world of paper cutouts and cartoon colors. It doesn't do much heavy lifting, it's not very deep or difficult and just a few hours of silly fun later you'll have read the minds of numerous colorful characters and stuck your third hand in…

Similar to Flipping Death making them both unique in their genre. Same devs. A puzzle platformer close to the point and click genre without requiring these actions. Funny, rich in colors, amusing. Simple mechanics and challenges. To give a try at least if you doubt. It is a good game (I prefer Flipping Death).

The Good: + Wonderful Psychonauts'esk art style. + Simplistic yet charming animation. + Has some genuinely funny moments, which is rare in games. + Decent sized cast of likable, if one dimensional (heh), characters. The bad: - Some bugs when using a controller (use mouse/keyboard instead) - Some bugs with audio (crackles sometimes) - Only one real song (trailer/title one), rest is ambient audio. Final thoughts: It's not a very long game, and the technical issues did put a bit of a damper on…

An imaginative platformer with an inspired art style. I would hesitate to describe it as a puzzle platformer there is some puzzling but it's more reminiscent of an old - school adventure like Simon’s Quest . In those, dialogue and text exchange happens sort of like an inventory where words or phrases get added and can be used to unlock new options. Stick takes it a step further. using a telekinetic hand jutting out of his brain, Ray can take thoughts from one person's mind and place them in…

Quirky little story with (mostly 2D) plattforming and a little point and click adventure-ing. Interesting style. Mostly easy Puzzles (except perhaps how to lure the taxidermist, that was quite dumb, as it involved a mechanic not used before or thereafter). Pretty casual overall. Chases/Stealth parts are sometimes a bit hard (but if you read the minds of the guards you usually get a helpful boost). There's a lot to like here, from the interesting art style to good voice acting to humour to puzzles that are fairly logical and levels that don't outstay their welcome. But for me the main point of interest is how the game turns it's aesthetics into a game mechanic in it's own right. It's rare to find an original concept so well thought out and executed.

Dialogue is paced well and delivers some great comedy, and a lot of the voice actors and actresses make me feel like I'm playing a cartoon straight out of the 90's. The Man here is just a crime boss, so no "power to the people" themes here. The humour is not very British, the art style is grotesque and quirky, the story, although less interesting, reminded me a bit of Terry Gilliam's movie Brazil. I wanted to like this game, but the gameplay offers nothing original (it's basically a jump&run, nowadays called "platformers") and the art style and the story don't make it entertaining enough for me. Maybe you'll like it though.

    - Very funny characters and dialogue. The voice acting is just fantastic. - I like the how you need to read people's minds and pay attention to the story to solve the puzzles, often in the weirdest ways. It's a point and click adventure without the point and click. - It's very short, but that just means it doesn't outstay it's welcome. You can finish it in a single to a few sessions before it gets dragged out.

+ art style + music - shallow humor - chases (platforming) repetitive

I discovering this game through playing Flipping Death, and although Flipping Death is a superior experience (being released later and by more experienced devs), Stick it to The Man was a really fun ride from start to finish.

Short but enjoyable game! Was more dialog oriented than expected, but the dialog is well done, comedic, and delivered nicely! I figured it would be more of an action platformer over a puzzle platformer, but it is what it is. I liked it enough to finish it, that's for sure!
