I might have liked them when I was a teenager and back in the 80s and 90s. I’ve continued to enjoy superhero films, mind you, but I’ve eventually grown a bit tired of them too. Yet die-hard action fans will find there’s hardly any action here at all – you can count the scenes on the fingers of one hand! Poor things! How I pity them!!! neutral · AI labelView post →"Sweet Girl" has a strong start, delivering a solid first act with compelling character development and an emotional premise that pulls you in. The performances, especially from the leads, are genuinely good and carry much of the film’s weight. However, as the story shifts into the second act, it begins to lose momentum. While the emotional potential is there, the dialogue often feels overly scripted, missing the natural flow and depth needed to fully connect with the audience. It tries hard to…

Besides that, the acting is pretty good, the action scenes don't have too many cuts, and the camera feels fluid. \#luigi

It is just the kind of film that is right up my alley - somehow in a similar vain as The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996). Every time I watch it, I notice even more of its elegance in how it weaves together its story and scenes. Definitely a great film. #Film #Review #SweetGirl
positive · AI labelView post →Highly recommended for all, surprised twist that I did not see coming, but in the end, it all made sense. Great acting and directing, worth a second watch just in case you missed anything the first time.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
