Developed by AIXLAB and published by Smilegate and Thermite Games, The Alley is a first-person psychological horror game that embraces subtle terror instead of constant shock value. The story begins with a seemingly ordinary student heading home after class, only to become trapped inside an endlessly repeating alley where reality slowly unravels. As the familiar streets twist into an inescapable nightmare, a relentless ghost stalks every movement, forcing players to uncover the truth behind the…

This game is not scary whatsoever. The game consists of solving useless and frankly annoying puzzles that do not add on to the horror or story whatsoever. I have never witnessed a game so aggravatingly repetitive. I tried to live stream this game and even my viewers agreed that this game was not entertaining or scary in any aspect. I do not know how someone could market this game as horror when most of the game consists of solving useless puzzles. I am ashamed of even buying this game.

I hesitate to call this an "anomalies game" because it has more than enough going for it to set it far apart from just that. It has great atmosphere/graphics, interesting plot, and other enjoyable gameplay features that are all balanced very nicely into a bite-sized, horror story experience. Current pricing ($8 USD) feels very correct for this with gameplay of about 3 hours, and a re-playable anomalies minigame afterwards. Really enjoyed this, and all the kitties.

A nice mix of anomaly detection, puzzling, and hide and seek horror. Great atmosphere, cool story, and fantastic visuals. If you're a fan of indie horror games that can be completed in a single session, this is one of the better titles of its kind to come out in 2026. Give it a shot please! Using the "Quality" graphics preset, I was able to play at 4K resolution with a frame rate of around 50–60 fps on an RTX 2080 Ti. Since I’m not particularly sensitive to frame rates, the performance didn't hinder my gameplay experience at all. I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm looking forward to the rest of it.

A fun little game with plenty of charm The Alley is a really enjoyable game that’s easy to pick up and play. A lot of AI generated content made it's way into the making of this game but I understand the need for such measures to overcome the lack of a production team. However, there are some things that would be best created by a real artist -> the profile picture of the grandmother. The main plot is interesting but it is rather hilarious to think that the shaman grandmother has the typing speed over a mobile device of an 11 year old that had been playing on a smartphone since he was in his mother's…

Excellent anomaly game with a proper good story. Not as scary as I'd like it to be but certainly has some very spooky moments. It felt pretty easy to find anomalies so the real challenge is deciding if they are real or ghostly. Excellent graphics and voice acting, overall loved the experience and it leaves me wanting to see this story continue. Long time I have not had such fun. The fact that each ghost encounter is a puzzle itslelf made me appreciate the effort of the developers who thought it through in interesting and challenging way. It was also scary to play. The little minor improvement - would be good to have possibility to skip some content which playes have already seen (after dying few times I had to watch the social media video post about the "self playing" song few times and it is not a short one). The biggest problem with this game is it's lack of clear instructions at times on how to fight/deal with some ghost encounters or puzzles that take forever to run through because the game decides you half to walk through molasses to get to each point only for you to fail and not explain how it failed even thought the clue suggest you did the right thing.

OK, the sensitivity is really junkie and the gameplay is unstable. When you try to move the camera or try to walk it jumps all over the place it doesn’t run smooth the way a game should I would recommend fixing the movements right away because so far that’s the only thing turning me off of the game because it lags so bad it jumps all over the place against what the player is trying to do
