The Changeling
Directed by Peter Medak
After a tragic event happens, composer John Russell moves to Seattle to try to overcome it and build a new and peaceful life in a lonely big house that has been uninhabited for many years. But, soon after, the obscure history of such an old mansion and his own past begin to haunt him. From TMDB

I asked him once what if anything he changed in his approach to material when making something like Species 2 and he was like “whataya mean?” I’m like dude that movie has puppets screaming out of women’s stomachs, it’s insane. It’s not The Changeling

positive · AI labelView post →Underrated film in many ways. Great story. Alice was captivating. The locations terrific (upstate NY), exquisite score by Philipe Sarde. Made during a bit of a horror resurgence and the great older actors made the best of it. The Changeling with George C Scott another from that time.
