negative · AI labelView post →Karl has moved on from Dutton and this time interviewed PM Albanese, but luckily for you, The Chaser Report podcast put themselves through the pain of watching it so you can just hear the highlights. Listen to our breakdown on your podcast app of choice.
neutral · AI labelView post →A new film from Na Hong-jin, director of THE CHASER, THE YELLOW SEA and THE WAILING? And it's a MONSTER MOVIE? I need to see this RIGHT NOW.
neutral · AI labelView post →I would suggest being careful with a few of these movies, some of them like I Saw The Devil, Inside, The Chaser, When Evil Lurks, Green Room are extremely violent and gory, so check out any content warnings you may need. Sometimes I like a movie with scenes of explicit violence and gore. Be warned.

Day #107 "The Wailing" (Na Hong-jin/2016) From the director of the gut punch film, The Chaser comes this top-class South Korean horror film. If you haven't already seen this one then you need to check it out immediately!

neutral · AI labelView post →For my movie club this week, I watched Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and The Chaser and holy shit, was Korea okay during the 00s?
neutral · AI labelView post →THE CHASER (2008): Still my favorite work of South Korean cinema. It’s the structure that does it for me. Na Hong-jin’s film presents as a stylish exercise in hustlers and killers, but as the clock counts down, all life slowly drains from the movie, until all that remains is cold and hollow.
positive · AI labelView post →Well that's ruined my day. He was my customer and we were friendly and talked about records all afternoon. I was thinking I hadn't seen him recently...... famous as a film director but for me...he was The Chaser on Serbian TV. A really lovely guy.

neutral · AI labelView post →A good last four for films I had no idea existed, but definitely not for fulfilling watches. So instead I’m going to squee again that The Chaser (2008) was not just the best of my week, but is the absolute best detective vs serial killer movie I’ve ever seen. #LastFourWatched #LetterboxdFriday
positive · AI labelView post →Rewatched the 2008 Korean movie The Chaser; it was as good (and gory and heartbreaking) as I’d remembered.
positive · AI labelView post →#FFF movie 10 was The Chaser. Absolutely riveting, not a dull moment. I loved it, but here's your word of warning that it is grimdark in that Korean movie sort of way, iykyk. (Sidenote: Fascinating how there are only shit trailers for this movie. Well I guess it is just very of its time.)
positive · AI labelView post →Well this was a good time… From the director of The Chaser? Of The Wailing? The Yellow Sea? It was kind of jarring seeing this totally blind. This feels like Na’s messiest film - like it needs tightening up all over the place - but… thats also what was so enjoyable about it. And the diarrhea story.
neutral · AI labelView post →A couple of duds: Hope / Resident Evil. Both films OK. That's about it. Resident Evil is fine. Nothing you haven't seen before. Which begs the question, why? Maybe this is a "one for me (the director) and one for the studio" kinda film. The only reason I went to see this is because I have fond memories of watching my younger brothers playing the original game for the first time and all three of us screaming in the dark at the first zombie reveal. Hope is the real disappointment. Coming after…
neutral · AI labelView post →I'd second The Chaser, extremely bleak movie, one I rewatch every so often when I want to feel like complete shit
negative · AI labelView post →The Chaser was a great movie!
positive · AI labelView post →I’m not watching any trailers for Hope but just to let you know how hyped I am, The Chaser and The Yellow Sea are two of my favorite films ever and while I don’t like The Wailing as much, I’ve been waiting for a new Na Hong-Jin film for close to 10 years.

Hard hitting Korean serial killer thriller that takes a slightly different turn at almost every step then you expect it to do. Dated aesthetic though. 📽️ #filmsky #cinema #film #movies

neutral · AI labelView post →Na Hong-jin, director of great horror film The Wailing and new scifi/horror(?) release Hope, directed a movie released in 2008 named The Chaser, i keep seeing mutuals watching it presumably in advance of seeing Hope. and halimede's whole "bit" is being Like That, so
neutral · AI labelView post →The Chaser might be my favourite film but it's a difficult rewatch because it's so grim. i really appreciate how the victim feels like a person though, not just a plot device
positive · AI labelView post →Now seated for THE CHASER at @filmadelphia.org. It’s been ages since I watched this one, but I still vividly remember it fucking my shit up six ways to Sunday.
positive · AI labelView post →Obsession sounds like a great movie and I want to see it, but it's also just the plot of Twilight Zone episode "The Chaser"
neutral · AI labelView post →Like I watched one film he cited directly as an influence, The Chaser (2008). And it's not "higher art" than Pulp Fiction or anything but you can see a lot of specific structural influence, seems clear he really gets something out of violent thrillers.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Chaser rules, a relentless movie with one of the most tense chase scenes put on film.
positive · AI labelView post →I hope so! 😁 'In the film Frost/Nixon, who played David Frost?' Question for the Chaser, Darragh who of course got it right ☺️

neutral · AI labelView post →Overjoyed to discover that Na Hong-Jin - the director of The Chaser, The Yellow Sea and The Wailing (all terrific) has another movie due for release in 2025. Initially I thought Hope was a short, following as it does the short Faith but this stars Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander. Can’t wait.
neutral · AI labelView post →"a frantic psycho-noir, by turns bleak, funny and horrifying": Na Hong-jin’s mad-dash feature debut THE CHASER (2008) is on digital from today via Blue Finch Film Releasing. Unmissable. projectedfigures.com/2015/04/13/t...

Sounds rather dark but is anything but😀 #cinemon
neutral · AI labelView post →Watching the schism of opinions about HOPE from my co-workers has me super duper intrigued to watch it for myself. The only film of Na Hong-jin I've seen is The Chaser which I had very mixed feelings about in the first place (great movie, didn't work for me in places). Hmm... interesting. 🤨
neutral · AI labelView post →I think there might be. Na Hong-jin certainly is a director who plays against tropes while often using them. The Chaser is a stone-cold CLASSIC, and it's a film where the cops-and-killer chase ends mid-film. It's brilliant. Here, it certainly feels like he is absolutely doubling down on it.
positive · AI labelView post →Tonight's movie is South Korean "The Chaser" from Na Hong-jin. Heard good things about it
neutral · AI labelView post →I saw it at the Sydney Film Festival years ago. A rare film that left me absolutely shaking at the end of it. The Chaser is also very good. He knows how to employ different forms of energy into the fabric of his films so well.
positive · AI labelView post →Probably a bad idea to watch the trailer as it's showing way too much, but with how hyped I am for getting a new movie from Na Hong-jin (The Chaser, The Wailing) I couldn't help it. Have to bug my local theatre guy to see if there's any chance he can get it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5jc...
neutral · AI labelView post →GREAT movie! Turned my mom onto Korean cinema with this one. The Chaser is another great one. Koreans know how to do horror and thrillers! The Man from Nowhere was great too! I think it kinda inspired John Wick.
positive · AI labelView post →Can't help but notice that absolutely no cunt mentioned that as you race the Chaser Zero mech in Forza Horizon 6 it plays an Ado track from ONE PIECE FILM RED youtu.be/1FliVTcX8bQ?...
neutral · AI labelView post →Just watched #TheChaser. Really enjoyed that.
positive · AI labelView post →The Chaser! What a good movie! I don’t even like murder films but that one blew me away.
positive · AI labelView post →Wow that sounds like an awesome time! Hope you get to enjoy many delicious cookies 🍪 Mine was also doing Christmas stuff- mostly food wise, but also decorations too. Plus have got all the crackers now which is exciting. Watched a movie called The Chaser- that was excellent yet also disturbing.
positive · AI labelView post →Introduce yourself using only one food you refuse to eat, one movie you'll never watch again, and one song you can't stand. Quinoa - I have eaten it three times — twice by accident — and each time I got progressively worse hives The Chaser - do not watch this movie Smooth - idc idc idc
neutral · AI labelView post →Maybe you haven’t seen my favorite Korean serial killer movie: The Chaser. As the name implies, this is about catching the murderer, not the courtroom drama that follows. No 💕 but a lot of 🩸🩸
positive · AI labelView post →My soul hurt from being invested so hard in this film. I have never felt my whole body need resolutions for characters as much as while watching this. The Chaser (2008) has just toppled every other serial killer vs. detective movie to rank as the best I’ve ever seen. Damn… That chisel…
positive · AI labelView post →Choose one film from each of your 30 favourite directors. Name of the film and director, along with a still 14/30 Na Hong-Jin, The Chaser (2008)
neutral · AI labelView post →The Chaser! Such a great movie.
positive · AI labelView post →The Chaser will make your skin crawl, and Ha Jung-woo is so freaking creepy in this movie.
positive · AI labelView post →The movie that really put him in the spotlight is The Chaser. My girlfriend is a diehard lover of thrillers, and she says the next time she watches it it'll be in the daytime with the lights on. 😁
neutral · AI labelView post →Will get on that soon. There’s a brilliant Korean film called The Chaser with the same lead actress (Seo Young-hee)
neutral · AI labelView post →I'd suggest Yellow Sea first, then the Chaser, then the Wailing, if younhavent seen any of them. I think Yellow Sea is his best movie so far
positive · AI labelView post →welcome to movie night, and back to The Twilight Zone. It's s2e31 - The Chaser. now last week we all heard the name and description for this one and experienced a variety of panics.
neutral · AI labelView post →I just watched Hope at the Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF). Is the latest movie by director Na Hong-jin who’s directed action thrillers such as The Chaser. The right amount of action, absurdist humor and suspense. Fantastic camera work! A movie worth going into without reading about it.
positive · AI labelView post →rewatched The Chaser (2008) last night, great movie. interesting to watch now i'm much more familiar with Mangwon tho, it's funny how that's actually one of the less mountainous parts of Seoul but they shoot it mostly around the one mountain there so it looks like every street is a 45 degree slope.
