The film takes place at the end of an outbreak after a cure has been found when there's huge social unrest over over how-- or if-- the former zombies can be re-integrated into society.

positive · AI labelView post →#15 The Cured This is a thoughtful and somber Irish movie about what happens when zombies are cured and integrated back into society. The performances and well built tension make this an interesting watch. #hooptober #hooptoberxiii

I didn't really understand the plot I got up to the Cured Mystique scene and switched to a different channel because 9 Year Old me was bored as hell and wanted to see cool fights but got naked women instead.
negative · AI labelView post →Sadism and blind fucking cruelty that makes me realize that The Cured is a perfect fucking zombie movie.

neutral · AI labelView post →The movie "The Cured" has non-stop shaky cam. The camera shakes when 2 people are standing around talking. I think they filmed it during a earthquake or something.

neutral · AI labelView post →huh! I'm definitely curious though it reminds me a bit of Doomsday (2008,) I get the impetus to not go FULL "end of the world" with it all but preferring Weeks to Days gives me some pause, honestly to me the 3rd film in the trilogy will always be The Cured (2017)
neutral · AI labelView post →The Cured- Feels weird to watch pre-transition Elliot Page footage, but this is a great zombie movie. Not a subtext coward about structures of rehab and politics of sheltering surrounding the vulnerable minorities.
positive · AI labelView post →I saw a video at one point talking about a movie called "The Cured" that centered around "zombie outbreak was contained, can the infected reintegrate/would they be allowed to". I feel like society today would be capable of locking something like this down... although 2020 tells a different story...
neutral · AI labelView post →Just watched The Cured, a zombie movie from 2017 Great movie, wasn't a big fan on how things progressed in the middle of it but still was a very good watch That and Maggie from 2015 are probably the most unique takes on the zombie genre I seen and will be great inspiration for me

neutral · AI labelView post →The re-integration of zombies into human society is something that is usually played for jokes. Not so for The Cured, which is about as self-serious as a zombie movie can get. It is mostly upheld by some solid acting, but I still was only half interested in The Cured. Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole.
