neutral · AI labelView post →The Dirt by* Motley Crüe is basically Rashomon for 80s hair metal. The TV film would have been much better if they’d really leaned into that approach to it and made it a miniseries *I know it’s basically the work of poisonous egg Neil Strauss.
neutral · AI labelView post →The Endless & Something in the Dirt are two of my most favorite "recent" horror movies. Highly recommend them & Synchronic! The Endless has a tinge of folk horror, Synchronic has a sci-fi lean & Dirt is just a straight shot of cosmic horror. Spring is SO different but still feels like a B/M film. 🖤

Haha. - Honestly, its a funny scene. A bit gross, but I can see Thrasher being this way. XD #FurryArt #Furry

neutral · AI labelView post →It's so good 😭 I kinda wanna watch it again this weekend... Recently I watched Something in the Dirt. It's quirky, very low-budget, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, creepy homage to LA and movie-making. Its vibe is similar to Backrooms but less depressing / doesn't take itself as seriously.
positive · AI labelView post →I really like Something in the Dirt as a film about high strangeness. it is not really capturing the event itself, but it is very Keelian in looking at how we distort events and they distort us in turn
positive · AI labelView post →I’ve had a semi regular movie night with a friend lately and have been very much wanting to pull the trigger to watch the Resolution/Endless/In the Dirt trilogy with him without explaining the context. Maybe this is my sign

positive · AI labelView post →My best worst film of all time? The Dirt.
negative · AI labelView post →Well that was rather lovely. I really enjoy Benson and Moorhead films, I just have Resolution and Something in the Dirt to catch up on. Would perhaps pair well with Évolution by Lucile Hadžihalilović.

positive · AI labelView post →The Dirt Bike Kid (1985) We return to our Terrible Movies column for this very weird 80s kids movie in which Peter Billingsley inexplicably acquires a flying sentient dirt bike, a power which he uses to save a random depressed guy's hot dog stand and mess with a biker named "Mr. Slime." #Filmsky 📽️

neutral · AI labelView post →More so meant as a *leading* actor. Ruck is great, but he’s guest starring on Elsbeth. Kind is funny with Mulaney but he’s a voice actor. Costabile is good but his last decade of film work was The Dirt (which felt like prep work for his character on Billions) and Snack Shack.

neutral · AI labelView post →One of the most entertaining music biopics ever made (but also nastiest) RELEASED IN 2019, "The Dirt" is a biography of Mötley Crüe from their inception in the early 80s to the mid-90s. Along with GnR, the band was the cream of the crop of 80’s hair metal. They were notorious for their childish, debauched antics and the movie depicts this from the get-go with an off-putting bit o’ raunch at a party. There’s also an amusing pool sequence that gets pretty repellent with Ozzy pathetically trying…
