honestly sad to downvote this collection but quite simply it's clear this is just a flash emulator, even experiencing some issues flash had such as input lag in elephant quest when going for the have 10 miniphants achievement leading me to walk into pits because my character kept moving after i stopped pressing they key (and i don't mean i reacted slow he'd keep moving for a good 1 maybe 2 seconds whilst the enemies …

If I was objective, because of this cons: 1. Too easy I finished it after 6 hour. 2. Doesn't add almost anything to browser version. 3. Some games laggy as hell. I understand for browser version but for pc version you must optimized. We give money for this games if I want to laggy experience like browser version I would play on browser FREE. FIX YOUR GAME!!! I could not recommend this game. But even all this cons I …

I bought this game expecting a simple collection of the flash games I grew up with. What I got was so much more than that. I launched the game to suddenly be thrown into a rave party bullet hell, which pretty much set the expectations really high from the get-go. All of the changes from the original games (mostly from the Achievement Unlocked and This Is The Only Level series) kept the humor of the original games, …

Kudos to the dev for making this; I love it when Flash games are preserved. This is a really fun nostalgia trip. Playing this feels like seeing your childhood friend again.

neutral · AI labelView post →This review is an op-ed in disguise People often refer to the 2000s internet as "the Wild West", but such a description captures only the lawlessness and little of its discontinuity and vibrancy. To me the 2000s internet was more like "the world's nursery", well-intentioned but amatuer, incongruent yet charming. The denizens of what was still then called "the world wide web" were digital infants, colouring the immense canvas of the void with virtual crayons, an emerging aesthetic shaped by the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buy this game. You probably spent hours as a middle schoolers playing these for free, now spend a little and get them to keep.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game very very much. It was actually pivotal to my development, and one of my core memories (even if I didn’t quite understand english at the time). It is very worth it, and very fun. That said, I would love a proper linux port. As is, the game appears to have some memory leak and other compatibility issues. But it runs fine after you open it, for around an hour and a half. Nevertheless! Pretty, and as sweet as I remembered.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really cute old set of flash games rebooted into one, convenient collection. plays very well on my old laptop as expected. i wish they had more flash games like this on here, hopefully someday they'll get ports. 10/10. highly recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(Mostly) fun flash games that I remember from back in the day. The experience is hampered by the execution games, especially 50k in Treadasaur. Really quite liked playing the Achievement Unlockeds and This Is The Only Levels (again for most). Elephant Quest and Maverick were surprisingly good for ones I'd never played before. Run Elephant Run, Elephant Raves and Treadasaur were not too interesting and honestly were hard to look at most of the time. I do like that everything in this feels like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a "yes, but" review. If you've played any of the elephant games, or have a fondness for flash games in general, you'll probably get the nostalgia value from this pack. Otherwise, I beat the whole collection in about 4 hours. I will admit that sometimes it's nice to take a break from stuff that has a ton of polish. "I wanted to make a game, I made a game, here it is" has a good charm to it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Media preservation, my beloved.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A collection of old, nostalgic Elephant (and more) Flash games. If you’ve played these games in the past and would like to try them again, I’d definitely recommend picking them up to relive your younger years. If you haven’t, it’s more of a “maybe”, I would only get it if you want to experience the wonderful joy of Flash games from 20 years ago. Just don’t have super high expectations. It includes 14 games, some of which I have actually never played before. Elephant Rave 1 and 2 – The first…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great flash games, some of the most memorable that there was back then I guess you could play them for free with flashpoint, but idk it's there if you're feeling like having all of it in a nice bundle and some sprinkles on it They keep adding stuff to this collection, which is really nice
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PEAK. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO LOVE THE ELEPHANT COLLECTION SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD PEAK WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE LOVE I FEEL FOR THE ELEPHANT COLLECTION AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. FOR THIS GAME. PEAK. PEAK.

neutral · AI labelView post →Thank you for putting your care into the Elephant's legacy! Elephant Quest in particular was a part of my childhood I held dear, and being able to experience the full context in which it exists. As a child, I never thought about the circumstances that lead to the creation of my childhood, and having a dev commentary on every game through Memories gave me a much deeper appreciation of an era that honestly we might never get back again. Each game was integrated pretty nicely, and I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played a bunch of these games growing up. Worth buying for the sole purpose of supporting the dev.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played these games a lot when Flash was still alive, and I still think they're fun. However, do not go into these expecting amazing gameplay. They're changed only in areas where it was impossible to leave them as their original. The physics are still very janky, and certain achievements are evil (I'm not doing the 20 combo jump on hamsters). It's good, but I'm not sure $15 is worth it. I got it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I think John is a nice lad who's games I've played since I was young, this collection of game was very fun and engaging with a way to financially support but I am now done 100%ing the game and left frustrated at how tedious some of the games were. Some were lagging after a while, many have way too much screen effects that make it hard to tell what's happening, and the challenge for several of the achievements let alone modes are ridiculous. Understandably a lot of these flash games are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This collection rules! I grew up with a lot of jmtb02's Flash games so I already knew I was gonna enjoy this, but it's also making me appreciate some of his other games I never got to try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love Elephants. I got to rave with elephants. I got to destroy an entire train with an elephant. I got to overfeed a hamster as an elephant. I gave an elephant balloons as an elephant. 10/10 game of the year award NOW.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3.5/10 a few flash minigames - no controller support - input lag - frame rate drops - some of the game modes feel like they were not tested at all
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like elephants, and God likes elephants.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's hard to put into words how Elephantastic these games are, and how grateful I am to have grown up with them and Bloons TD in my childhood. They feel exactly as they did when I played them as a kid, filling me with wonder and curiosity as to what creative level or achievement they would pull next. I would recommend these games to everyone, and I hope the developers can continue to create similar games for the newer generations with just as much creativity.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →why the ♥♥♥♥ does it lag?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty much every single Elephant game over the years in one single package. I'll give my individual thoughts on each game: Elephant Rave: Fairly decent bullet hell-esque game. Also a perfect way to make everything come full circle, as it's the first and last game you play in the collection. This is the Only Level 1, 2, and 3: They're all pretty similar, so I lumped them together. You run through the same level each time in different stages, with a new gimmick every time, and some of them get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who used to really be into these flash games, this collection is exactly what it says on the tin. Unfortunately a number of them just haven't aged incredibly well. For a collection consisting mostly of platforming games, the actual movement feels really bad. Ground detection for jumps is hit or miss on edges, double jumps are only enabled after a jump and not available after walking off a platform, and halfway through the collection, the movement gets updated to introduce…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My elephant oh yes my elephant
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I always loved the original games from many years ago and this big collection is amazing, love the extra quests for each game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the old flash games, then thought these were lost forever to the purge... I'm happy they are safe and here for us to struggle to till the end of time, they are hard... but definitely the same old games!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun mish-mash of flash games you probably played as a kid, with various improvements and dev notes on his thoughts about each game. Each game is a fun way to burn an hour or so whenever you feel like it. Definitely worth picking up on a lark especially if it's on sale, or you just need more blue elephants in your life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Expect performance below 30fps. I was hoping for a constant 60. One thing that detracked from my experience was the constant stuttering. I don't know if it because the games are running off a Flash emulator. The gameplay is fine. the music score is good (especially for the raves). The little developer commentary tidbits over each game's door was interesting. But Nostalgia is a cruel mistress and I just didn't enjoy my time for most of the games (mainly due to the performance). Elephant Quest…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a genuinely good thing to see art preserved like this. Mostly just purchased for elephant quest. The rest are good, EQ is one of the best games ever made.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →final rating 7/10 This is a bunch of nostalgia bait but is also genuinely a fun little collection of games. I mainly bought this for the achievement unlocked games that I never did beat as a kid but the other games are nice too. I wish I could rated it higher but the fact that they didn't really fix any of the old bugs and had a handful of crashes knocked down the rating. Final verdict buy it on sale. It's worth like 5$ not the 15$ it sells for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun series, but an obnoxious amount of seizure-inducing screen flashes and grind, really should be fixed in the year of our lord 2000+
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm over here crying over a song made for a collection of flash games released in the 2010s starring a blue elephant
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Elephant Collection is a collection of ancient Adobe Flash browser games that you could play for free, but the "developer" of this garbage has exhumed the corpses of them and expects you to give them an insane FIFTEEN UNITED STATES DOLLARS for the privilege of playing free Flash games. What do we call it when unethical developers charge cash money for something that's free? Yes, it's a scam. From a technical perspective, the collection doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a collection of Flash games from the iconic Blue Elephant franchise. The games are presented exactly like they were originally, with only a few changes made here and there to better adapt them to a collection form instead of browser games, as well as the addition of 3 achievements per game (not the in-game achievements in Achievement Unlocked) as well as a cute ending. All of the games are pretty short, and the collection can be easily beat in a few hours, but that doesn't make it any…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How can I not recommend a package of games that inspired in me a lifelong love of indie games? Elephant Rave 2 alone proves that John still has it when it comes to delivering short but memorable experimental experiences.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Classics immortalized. One of the greatest flash era devs around
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ELEPHANTS CAN RAVE?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →achievement unlocked and this is the only level was always one of my jams as a kid (AU 3s my favorite) and like henry im glad to have an archive of everything conveniently in one place that functions well and looks and plays nice, all the games are still fun and hold up well and that ending made this worth every penny totally worth it ELEPHANT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fantastic collection. Since the collection includes ten games, I’ve ranked them from most to least favorite: 1. Achievement Unlocked 2: Simple, creative, and fun. I ranked this above AU3 because AU2 actually includes some clever satire. For example, the shopping section pokes fun at big studios like Bethesda and EA for locking basic content behind paywalls. AU3 reuses many of the same achievements and ideas, which only proves how solid AU2 was as a standalone achievement simulator…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have such fond memories of Achievement Unlocked and This is the Only Level, wasting time playing these when the teacher wasn't looking rather than actually focusing on schoolwork. Now that I'm an adult with responsibilities or whatever, it's nice to be able to play them again, plus some newer ones I hadn't played before. Well worth picking up, the ending of the collection is hauntingly beautiful
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has a slow framerate, some Steam and in-game achievements are broken, and a lot of bugs are present.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a fun compilation, but it's now an instant Not Recommended for adding games post-release with far more unfair and anti-fun achievement requirements like the treadmill misery (where your chances of running 50,000 number are entirely dependent on the game not constantly rolling "+1 all obstacles" or obnoxious combinations of treadmill speed and wind) and Elephant Rave 2's way harder no-death "challenge".
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like to judge a game on 5 different aspects from 0 to 10, with 10 being "no flaws" If it scores an 11 on an aspect, it means it goes beyond having no flaws, and is a masterpiece in that aspect. So here's my review of The Elephant Collection: Gameplay: 7/10 This is a port of a bunch of old flash games, so the game design is absolute garbage in a lot of aspects. While that's what makes it nostalgic, the games could've benefited from an actual remaster with new content instead of just being…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My experience was about 20% "This was my childhood!" and 80% "Wait, there were this many elephant games?!" 10/10 would relive someone else's childhood again.
